  • Hey Avran! I am looking for a board that does well in steep, heavy PNW pow, manages well in the left over crud after a pow day and possible nimble in trees. Debating between 2023 Rome Ravine Select & K2 Excavator @150lbs & Sz 7.5 feet. What would another board that you would recommend to make this a 2 board quicker for more relaxed days.

  • Hey Angry! Love all the reviews. I’m going to be spending a month or so in Japan next season and want to pick up the perfect japow board, ideally would have really good performance on low angle pow and can still aggressively carve on groomers. My riding style leans more towards harvesting as much speed as possible and thrashing instead of a laid back surfy ride. Any of these boards you would say are the best fit for that? Other boards I thought might fit the bill are the ume, peace seeker, super pig, or maybe a Korua dart?

    @snones7@snones7 Жыл бұрын
    • That's exactly what it's for. It's probably the most well balanced deck on this list for all conditions. If I was going to have something as a freeride/pow deck and it was from this list it would only be that board.

I already have the YES Typo I bought last year after seeing your video about it, I use it for all day moutain and some park, but I am looking for a new board to use for Carving and Powder day, would you rather recommand the JonesIltra Mind Expander or the Capita Navigator ?

    @fabiendanten@fabiendanten Жыл бұрын
    • It's a stiffer pow board that requires a lot of focus when driving it through a turn. If you want more pow it's Navigator all day, you want to carve it's UME.

Rocking a Standard Uninc and it’s good until it gets too deep then my back leg burns and I didn’t skip leg day. Like mid road flex and I’m 6’ 200lbs size 11. Bachelor. Lotsa trees. • Hey angry snowboarder, I'm going to your neck of the woods the second week of April. What do you think I should ride from my quiver. I ride East Coast Advanced to intermediate free ride, moguls groomers ice ice whatever. Normally i ride a 151 or 155 camber / camrocker. But I'm not sure if these are going to be good at a-basin and surrounding areas. So I also have two volume shifted boards. A 142 Burton's stick shift, and it 149 ish war pig. Sometimes the war pig is a bit much for me in the heavy chop of the east. What do you think I should bring?
