Thailand. Bangkok. Lumpini park. 6 December 2022.

Our first full day in Thailand was spent in Lumpini Park. Almost immediately we met the inhabitants of this green oasis in the middle of the metropolis - monitor lizards and turtles living in lakes and canals. They are generally afraid of people and try to stay away, but there was one that came out onto the path and even allowed us to approach. One of the few places in a noisy city where you can find shade, coolness and a little peace in the company of amphibians. There are lots of people in the park, even during the day. It is large enough for walking, cycling and sports. We were happy with our visit and will definitely go again if the opportunity arises.
