I was always taught to drill an 1/8" hole where you cant see it. 1" up on the left and 1 1/2" up on the right. so once you pop it you have an alignment pin for reattachment later when horn is dried down.

Hello, thank you for the video, to cook the bone, make some product so that the meat comes out better, and if so, how much, thank you very much.

To cook the meat off of the bone fast you can use some Soda Ash in the pot. One or two ounces for a gallon .. but be careful and check the skull regularly if the horns are attached to the skull plate like a deer. Because soda ash can damage the base of your horns if used too much for too long.
