  • Nice set up. I am impressed that you write with both right and left hand. :)

    • Thank you 🙂. Not many people notice that, surprisingly. I was born a lefty, but for some reason I like the way my handwriting looks with my right hand. So I use my right hand if I want it to look a little more fancy.

    • I was ready to make the same comment. Although I’m right handed, I do a lot of things left handed (not writing) and lefties run in my family. So I notice when people are writing with their left hand. I’m really impressed. I don’t think there are that many people who can write well with both hands. Your journal is so beautiful! 🥰

  • Oh cool you're ambidextrous! I had to watch for a minute to make sure I was right but that is so neat. My daughter was born left-handed but the school she went to didn't want her using her left hand, so she learned to use both in a lot of things. I love your set up! I love all of your sticker books... especially the one with the fairies.

    • Thank you 🙂. I'm a lefty too but I started using my right hand one day (can't remember why), and realized that I like my writing better with my write hand. I write slower maybe that's the reason😄.

  • Your journal turned out beautiful, I loved watching you put it together. I kept one this year, but found out I needed more room especially if want to do a readathon a place for prompts and books I read for each. So I bought a book with more pages. I am working on it for 2024. So it will be ready for January.

  • You can write with both hands!?? 😯 I had a reading journal last year and I loved it! This year tho I decided not to but regret it since I missed the crafting part of it. Good thing I still tracked everything so I can put it in a journal. I'll probably make it in one go before the new year starts. I'm already excited for the new year to start my 2024 journal 😂 your's came out lovely! ❤️

Just the way I feel going into new year. 😅Do you add tip-ins in a lot? I really like using them! If I end up having a special quote or need more space. I think my style is definitely more junk journal-ish compared to yours, but it fits my hippy ways! 😂 I love how organized you are! It looks great! 🥰♥️

  • ooh friend recommendations...okay. I know we aren't exactly friends, but we're friendly acquaitances, lol. So most of my Christian Fiction favorites, I think you've already read, and my secular books have language in them, so I don't think you'd like them. I do enjoy cozy mysteries though, and most of them have little to no language. I recommend two series: Donna Andrews has a wonderful series called the Meg Langslow Mysteries. It's funny, and has a lot of fun characters including a lot of animals. Once in a while, mild language is used but there are no spicy scenes. The second series is Laura Childs. She has a few series out, but my favorite is The Tea Shop Mysteries. Again, may have mild language, basically the D word if anything, and no spicy scenes. Both series involve murder, so I don't know how you feel about that. ANyways, if these aren't your type of books, don't feel like you have to read them! They are just suggestions. Thanks for your videos, I love watching them. It's also good to see more Christian Booktubers out there, so thank you for your content. Hugs!

    • Okay well the first Donna Andrews book is called Murder With Peacocks. Just a heads up though, the first book introduces a lot of characters so it may be a bit much. As the series goes on, I'm sure you'll get used to them and love them as much as I do, but the first book sometimes turns off some people. Also, if you can get the audiobooks and you like audiobooks, I would recommend them for this series. The narrator is awesome! I don't remember what the first Tea Shop Mystery book is called, sorry. Also, if you would like cozy mystery recs, let me know. I read a lot of them! And yes, book friends are the best kind of friends! @@paperbacksandponytails
