    • I have a used 10 ton chain lift in my garage just for working on trucks, etc.. It is overkill, but it came up cheap after a large shop closed, so I grabbed it. I am sure there are similar deals floating about on the British Island somewhere. BTW, if you watch any old videos of German field repairs on their tanks, they used a variety of methods for lifting motors/transmission assembly's and gun change outs. If a tank recovery vehicle wasn't around, they used cable and chain along with a steel frame, all powered by another tank.

  • at 0:39 , they're showing a Jagdpanzer IV/70 not a Hetzer. Also they just completely forgot to mention that the Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer wasn't a German engineered tank destroyer, in fact a Czech design.

    @LinovichAkhotmy@LinovichAkhotmy5 жыл бұрын
    • Well correct and incorrect. The Panzer 38(t) was a Czech desing, but Hetzer is a completely different tank, using Hull of a 38(t). Hetzer was a complete remodel of 38(t).

      @Herra_X@Herra_X5 жыл бұрын
    • @@Herra_X Yes, I'm aware that the Hetzer is a redesign of the Panzer 38(t) into a Tank Destroyer form. Many turreted designs at the time were redesigned as tank destroyers. Just to name one example, the Porsche's Panzerjager Tiger (Which I'm sure you know this already). However I think it's irresponsible to not even point out the origin of the vehicle, it's rather misleading to people, and to people like myself, loses all credibility (especially when they show the wrong vehicle). Like I first stated, I think they should've at least mention the original origin of this design.
