Even actors who play the role as villains want to play the role as good guys occasionally. I think that he dies with pride knowing that Michael has what it takes to be good bodyguard.

@@tenabros5006 Nope they cut It down. So much missing in the USA version. The best version is in Australia. 117 minutes that's the one to watch! Tons more added to scenes and makes the movie all around better.
I always love Morgan freeman but I hated his character when he revealed that he is supporting the main villain!
