Omg this was amazing I had such a big smile on my face whole video. I have no words for what a cool individual Randy is. Great show great episode and out of this planet boat
But you only had 800hp in the boat. Think what twin 450s, an extra 100hp, would have run, I would guess around 120mph. But I have to say you handled the boat beautifully. Randy was very relaxed and calm as he went faster and made you turn the boat at higher speeds. Well done Bulli I wish I had been in the boat with you guys!! :D
I wonder if they used seven marine engines that use that GM corvette motor would affect the speed? It would jump to over 1200 hp.

You're a hero. 👍🏻 It needs so much trust to drive a boat that you don't know at this speed. And 100 knots is pretty hefty.
Great video, one of the best, I used to teach my Radio Controlled aircraft students in the same way when I saw them over correcting on the input and or controls.

Thank you Maurizio, I've been waiting for ever for someone to review the 340x. I appreciate the video but it would have been nice if you had actually shown more details of the actual boat as well, not just driving.

Boats on rails turning at over 75 mph OMG😱 he let go of the wheel and it still tracked straight. That time in Dubai payed off for Randy!!! Everyone should have the privilege of experiencing that!!!!

Mr. Scism sure knows how to put on a great show,! The 340/390x boats are my absolute favorite OB cats, they simply deliver on all areas. Mr. Bulleri appears to agree quite a bit, especially at 8:42! Looking forward to driving one of these. First I have to carry on with honing my skills as a boater, since right now, I don't deserve an MTI...
These new outboards are so much quieter. The last outboards I had were way back when I had Twin V8 4 liter two stroke Johnsons that were modified to about 360 h.p. each on a 25 ft, Cougar MTR Tunnel. You could not hear carry on much of a conversation with the engine noise and wind hitting you. This looks like a fun boat, compared to my 33 ft. Donzi with stock big blocks.

Which would win a race from Ft Lauderdale to Bahamas? MTI 42v or MTI 340x?
Depends on the wave height. In 5-7s the SlotV would most likely be first but if Randy was driving the cat it might be a different outcome. Nobody knows his boats better than he does.
Cats are superstable
