I think there is too much criticizing rather than looking at the message of the video. She's saying she made something of herself, even from what circumstances gave her. Hard work gave her what she has and no one can say they did or take that away from her. Being of Hispanic origin and female is hard enough but she grew up in the Bronx. Her daughter has had her own struggles as have many teenage girls her age. She, like her mother, keeps going. I don't know them but I'm proud of JLo's success but even more proud of her ability to be a role model for her children, especially Emme, being a girl in this world. Your children are your most precious treasure and I can see that with you. Emme is definitely one to be proud of and Max as well.

Those blind folds have been washed away and she's not at the ledge anymore. People are recognizing her own success now. The leaves are for Autumn for a phase of our lives that is about reaping and sharing our harvest, our knowledge and experience, with our communities. She's reaping the harvest finally of all of the hard work she put in all of these years. One thing was the MTV Vanguard award. Mine is a more clinical look. I did look at the scenery. I just didn't comment on it because it was already represent in what I said. You are free to interpret what you want. Interpretation: Interpretation is the act of explaining, reframing, or otherwise showing your own understanding of something. A person who translates one language into another is called an interpreter because they are explaining what a person is saying to someone who doesn't understand. It's showing my "own" understanding of her performance which may be different due to my experiences, training, career field, etc. I have a degree in Psychology so I may look at it differently.

I absolutely adore Jlo. But I have to say, writers don't get enough credit. Jlo asked Sia to write a song for the movie, Second Act.. and Sia delivered.. beyond the (Limitless) sky!.. and Jlo delivered it amazingly. To have her daughter depict Jlo's young self/inner child, is sweet and genius too. Like Maddy depicts Sia's inner child in many of her music videos. All mentioned collaborate so well together. Love them all. Truly inspiring and empowering!
