I am an engineer and I have also worked as an escalator operator. Nowadays escalators are one of the most Hi-tec as they are installed with a lot of sensors. The escalator will automatically stop if any kind of unusual thing is observed and requires a key to reset it. Every escalator has minimum 3 stop buttons that are accessible to civilians. You just need knowledge. But still precautions should be taken as it is a machine and failure can be there.

That should be an automatic response for a mother, shouldn’t it?- for me, although not as severe, there was a baby at a tire park- her mother was on a bench on her phone a few feet away while the girl was on the a path they made out of tires they cut in half (so instead of laying flat they were right side up). Ig I just had a bad feeling so I went over to the girl and walked behind her, turns out one of the tires was instable and the girl nearly fell, there was wooden beams and such with really bent screws and such, and if she fell, it would have been quite the nasty spill- idk how I managed to react so quickly, but I kinda just immediately grabbed her and ended up taking the fall myself while keeping her from falling- the baby was safe and I fractured my ankle pretty badly lol- worth it though because the baby was indeed adorable-

A few years ago, my mom, two brothers and I went to a shopping centre and my mom was to busy looking at jewellery, my younger brother was about 1 or 2 years old, my little brother was going up the down esculator and the he tripped and my older brother helped him get up but my older got stuck in the esculator. We were all panicking while oir mother was looking at jewellery, a few strangers helped my older brother get unstuck and our mother finally left the jewellery store and noticed what happened. Ever since then i have always been scared of esculators and our mother doesnt take very good care of the youngest child and i have to take care of my 4 year old sister while im 15 and my little sister thinks that Im her mother instead of her big sister😅

Another story of like that A guy was gonna marry his wife in the escalator in the last step the steps broke and he fell into the escalators bottom his girl broke dowm into tears, police came and toom him out, he had bruises everywhere his cheek,knees,eye they rush to the hospital for a treatment Once said that the man had a tragic dead but i think that his treatment was good enough that he couldn't live Also be safe and avoid the dangerous spots of the escalator. I am an engineer and I have also worked as an escalator operator. Nowadays escalators are one of the most Hi-tec as they are installed with a lot of sensors. The escalator will automatically stop if any kind of unusual thing is observed and requires a key to reset it. Every escalator has minimum 3 stop buttons that are accessible to civilians. You just need knowledge. But still precautions should be taken as it is a machine and failure can be there.

That should be an automatic response for a mother, shouldn’t it?- for me, although not as severe, there was a baby at a tire park- her mother was on a bench on her phone a few feet away while the girl was on the a path they made out of tires they cut in half (so instead of laying flat they were right side up). Ig I just had a bad feeling so I went over to the girl and walked behind her, turns out one of the tires was instable and the girl nearly fell, there was wooden beams and such with really bent screws and such, and if she fell, it would have been quite the nasty spill- idk how I managed to react so quickly, but I kinda just immediately grabbed her and ended up taking the fall myself while keeping her from falling- the baby was safe and I fractured my ankle pretty badly lol- worth it though because the baby was indeed adorable-

l have actually had this accident when l was young like 3 or 4 years old my mom told me that l wanted to buy an icecream and they werent getting me cuz l was sick and we were in a mall on an escalator so l sat down on the escalator and l didnt noticed we had reached the other end and my back somewhow got stuck on the part where the escalator panels go under the floor ldk😂 anyways so somehow my parents managed to pull me out thankfully 😅

A few years ago, my mom, two brothers and I went to a shopping centre and my mom was to busy looking at jewellery, my younger brother was about 1 or 2 years old, my little brother was going up the down esculator and the he tripped and my older brother helped him get up but my older got stuck in the esculator. We were all panicking while oir mother was looking at jewellery, a few strangers helped my older brother get unstuck and our mother finally left the jewellery store and noticed what happened. Ever since then i have always been scared of esculators and our mother doesnt take very good care of the youngest child and i have to take care of my 4 year old sister while im 15 and my little sister thinks that Im her mother instead of her big sister😅
