Me encanta el bolero de Ravel. Pero está interpretación con esta orquesta de jóvenes , es simplemente inigualable, los solistas excepcionales. Y el director magistral e imponente. !!! Felicidades Maestro!!!!!. Cada que la veo quedó extasiada. Y la seguiré viendo hasta que Dios me lo permita. Excelente, excelente, excelente interpretación. Gracias por este regalo de la vida.

Excelente interpretacion del Bolero, dedicado a la bailarina Ida Rubinstein por Maurice Ravel en 1928 e inspirado en una danza española, con una melodía obsesiva -ostinato- en do mayor, repetida una y otra vez sin ninguna modificación salvo los efectos orquestales, en un crescendo que, in extremis, se acaba con una modulación a mi mayor y una coda estruendosa y hasta el año 1993 permanecía en el primer lugar de la clasificación mundial de derechos de la Société des auteurs, compositeurs et éditeurs de musique (SACEM). I never get tired of listening to this version of Bolero from these young Español. I studied classical guitar from a Spaniard in Manila who could speak little Spanish in 1978. After a while, when he was pleased to hear me play later Spanish Ballad, Adelita and Recuerdos de la Alhambra, he told that he would recommend to Mr Eugenio Lopez, the president of Meralco, the largest electric utility in the Philippines, for me scholarship in Spain. I turned it down because I am an engineer by profession, my bread and butter. I was very young then. Today, I still play Spanish Ballad and other great movie theme ouido. Am now 78.

Soy de un pueblito de Chiapas México. Un día llegó a mi pueblo un maestro de Juchitán Oaxaca..que nos enseñó a escuchar musica clásica y en especial está melodía. Nos decía sienta en el sofa. Cierra tus ojos he imagina en tu mente de acuerdo a los acordes de la melodía y después nos preguntaba que vistes. Le contabamos y el sonreía al escucharnos. Y nos decía el poder de la música es la llave para viajar a cualquier época.

Muy pocas composiciones dan ese halo infinito y perfecto que da este Bolero de Maurice Ravel. No puede uno escaparse a su hipnótico devenir de notas, a esa majestuosa melodía cíclica (muy similar al retruécano en la literatura), que una y otra vez nos llena de satisfacción. Creo haber tenido unos 7 u 8 años cuando lo escuché por primera vez: quedé extasiado. Es posible que dentro de 2000 o 3000 años pueda surgir un humano que iguale a Ravel (quizás). Escuchar este bolero hace bien al alma, sirve para resurgir, cuando uno esta triste o apesadumbrado; ayuda mucho, mucho. Cuando esté cerca de la muerte, en mi cabeza, resonará por siempre esta melodía.

I know that Ravel often said that he wished he had never written this piece, but I for one am so grateful that he did. I have been mesmerized by this music since a was a child. Now, at 75, I am still in awe of its power. Absolutely wonderful performance by these talented young musicians... BRAVO
That sentiment (by Ravel) has always fascinated me; however, I don't think he would feel the same way had he been able to experience (hear, see, and feel) the full energy invested into this particular performance....the most powerful and certainly the most invested performance I have ever witnessed.

Делал акцент на этом, как это сложно и виртуозно! Папы больше нет , уже 26 лет, но я всегда помню и очень люблю его. А эта мелодия ещё раз окунула меня в то время, когда мой папочка был со мной и я была счастлива, не зная этого) Благодарю за исполнение Болеро Равеля !!

Extraordinaria presentación. Pero no se puede dejar de mencionar al equipo de filmación. Es evidente que conocían su trabajo y sobre todo, conocían la obra, porque de otra manera no se podría explicar: la cámara siempre sobre el instrumento principal, las panorámicas cuando lo ameritaba, los planos al director en los momentos precisos. Esas (hasta ahora) más de 32 millones de vistas sin duda son consecuencia principalmente de la excelente presentación de estos jóvenes y brillantes músicos, pero si hubiese sido filmada por un equipo que no hubiera tenido idea de lo fantástica de esta composición, de seguro se habrían perdido muchos detalles y la sensación de plenitud en los sentidos que deja este video no se hubiese alcanzado porque es indudable que no sólo entra por los oidos sino también por los ojos.

I watched various performances of this piece but I have to admit that it made an amazing impression on me and my wife.
