My father made a computer desk for Shaky back in the late 80's when he lived with his family near Woking UK. He also made the front door to Shaky's house as well. No it was not green! I was 16 at the time and met Shakey when I went with my Father to help him do measuring up. I'm 53 now! My father passed in 2000 aged 76. Still miss you Dad!

Bzdura. Sama mam 50 lat, ale to, co Ty piszesz, to jakieś narzekania zgreda, co się zatrzymał muzycznie na właśnie 80. latach tyko dlatego, że to były lata jego młodości. Trochę otwartości i uważności na nowe by się przydało, a wtedy i opinie byłyby bardziej miarodajne. 🙂

Shakina Stevens a słuchałem non stop od 7 mego do 9 tego roku życia. Inni artyści dla mnie nie istnieli. Pierwszy mój ulubiony wokalista. Dziś mam 42 lata, Shakin ma 73, czas leci nieubłagalnie, ale te jego białe buty , zawsze też lubiłem. Muzyka lat 80 tych jest najlepsza moim zdaniem. Oczywiście lata 60 te i 70 te też miały swój urok. The Doors, Eric Clapton- Leila.

W latach 80-tych ( nie pa miętam dokładnie kiedy) byłam na jego koncercie w poznańskiej Arenie. Koncert, na tamte czasy, był jednorazowy. Nie zapomnę go nigdy, jak i samego Shakin Stevensa. my dad grew up on 51 marcross road, ely. just down the street from where shakin stevens lived. he told me that he can remember him stepping out of a limo dressed as elvis, from when he was an impersonator. not far down the road lived ryan giggs also. i now live not far from where tom jones grew up in treforrest, and my father has met him also, when he returned to treforist. and it was broadcasted on television . to me, the story of him living by shaking stevens is one of the coolest things my father has ever told me.

Bzdura. Sama mam 50 lat, ale to, co Ty piszesz, to jakieś narzekania zgreda, co się zatrzymał muzycznie na właśnie 80. latach tyko dlatego, że to były lata jego młodości. Trochę otwartości i uważności na nowe by się przydało, a wtedy i opinie byłyby bardziej miarodajne. 🙂

Haven't heard this for years. Still a great song to hear. My late brother used to watch Shaky, Marty Wilde etc at Cambersands Rock & Roll conventions in 80s. Him & his mates used to say they were fantastic live.

Shakina Stevens a słuchałem non stop od 7 mego do 9 tego roku życia. Inni artyści dla mnie nie istnieli. Pierwszy mój ulubiony wokalista. Dziś mam 42 lata, Shakin ma 73, czas leci nieubłagalnie, ale te jego białe buty , zawsze też lubiłem. Muzyka lat 80 tych jest najlepsza moim zdaniem. Oczywiście lata 60 te i 70 te też miały swój urok. The Doors, Eric Clapton- Leila.
On jest ponadczasowy. Na pewno dostarczy jeszcze wiele miłych emocji.
wychowałam się na tej muzyce, pomimo że teraz mam dopiero 35 lat to wspomnienia mam piękne, pamiętam jak szalałam przy Kasprzaku mając 9 lat.... ah te wspaniałe czasy i dobra muzyka....

W latach 80-tych ( nie pa miętam dokładnie kiedy) byłam na jego koncercie w poznańskiej Arenie. Koncert, na tamte czasy, był jednorazowy. Nie zapomnę go nigdy, jak i samego Shakin Stevensa. Co roku słucham jego piosenki Merry Christmas Everyone. To moja ulubiona i najlepsza piosenka gwiazdkowa. Wszystkiego najlepszego Panie Shakin Stevens.

First single I bought with my own money! Who'd have thought a kid would be into Shaky at such an young age? You would have thought I'd follow other kids of my age and be into punk, mod, two tones or reggae that's popular at the time.

my dad grew up on 51 marcross road, ely. just down the street from where shakin stevens lived. he told me that he can remember him stepping out of a limo dressed as elvis, from when he was an impersonator. not far down the road lived ryan giggs also. i now live not far from where tom jones grew up in treforrest, and my father has met him also, when he returned to treforist. and it was broadcasted on television . to me, the story of him living by shaking stevens is one of the coolest things my father has ever told me.
