WHAATT. i watched half the video when you said that youre trying to get to 1k subscribers. You need a lot more, this is quality
Thanks mate really appreciate it 1k is just the first step for the channel 😀I’d be super grateful if you share this video with your photography friend, cheers for watching 🙏🏽
Been watching 10 stop vids for a month and this is prob the best use and explaination of a 10 stop and process...Thks...If I only had stack around me to shoot or have as background/subjects..Amazing that nearing sunset no one is at the beach, where Im from in California is busy allday.
Cheers buddy glad you found it useful appreciate the feedback yes we are lucky to have many deserted beaches in Australia. 🙏🏽
Fabulous location.
Sure is buddy I’m keen to get back there again soon 👍🏼
Wonderful image Johny, love the decision to go black and white. It really helps bring out the contrast and gives a smooth transition through the photo. Composition is really good also. Loved the walk through of how to set up the polarizer and ND filter to slow down the shutter speed and keep focus dead on. Thanks again for another great video.
Cheers buddy, I really appreciate the feedback and thanks for watching 🙏🏼
just love listening to you johny! in am learning alot fron you. thank you!
That’s so nice to her that thanks for watching 🙏🏽
Amazing how different the black and white was to the colour. I love how you have processed it and have learnt a couple if not more tips so will go back to some of my old black and whites and reprocess them. Thanks for these videos.
Awesome that’s great thank you for the feedback and cheers for watching 🙏🏽
ive heard people using xray as a nd filter... im waiting for to try it out.. liked and subscribed mate.. excellent video and dance.
Thank you I appreciate the support 🙏🏽I haven’t heard of the X-ray hack sounds interesting.
That is some well used equipment.....!!
Sure is mate, I shoot for work as well so it gets loads of use. Cheers for watching. 🙏🏽
EPIC!! I never think about using my polarizer. I have to get on that.
Love that filter thanks for the comment 🙏🏼
Another great video Johny. You pack a lot into a short video, and always with humour and bags of enthusiasm! Always something to learn and I hope you get to that 1000 subscribers very soon!
Thanks mate I really appreciate your support and feedback all the best 🙏🏽
Great video. Whenever I see nice rocks close to shore I'm always conscious of ruining the nice natural patterns and swirls with my own footprints.
Totally agree mate once you walk through it, it’s never really the same again. Thanks for you comment and watching 🙏🏽
Nice elevator music! LOL. Another great video. Thanks
Hahah glad you found it funny 😂
Whereabouts on the coast? Near Kiama or lower down? I love your colour shot better than the b & w, but it's personal preference. It's great to watch an Aussie shooting locally with the Sony a7R, the same as I have. Plenty for me to learn from, as I just start to play with filters. Thanks for the video.
It’s just south of Kiama great spot to shoot, so glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for the sub happy shooting 🙏🏽
Great video, 1 more to 1k sub. Look forward to more videos.
Thank you appreciate the feedback and the sub 🙏🏽
I like the way you explain all your settings. What filter do you us?
Thanks mate it’s a 10 stop neutral density filter from Kase. Cheers for watching 🙏🏽
Great vid Johny. I am just getting into long exposure photography. I have seen other videos where they use a “Lee Stopper” to calculate the exposure time. Is this step not necessary? Great fill in while the shot was being taken 🤣
Awesome long exposures are great, you can totally use an exposure calculator app to work out the shutter speed, I will use one if I’m needing to go longer that 30ec and have to use bulb mode for sure. I like PhotoPills for this but most are great. Thanks for watching and good luck with your long exposures.
Dude you want to see huge massive tree come to Northern California Redwood Forest, the trees here make this tree like a shrub.
I’d love to mate last trip to the US we ran out of time to see the redwoods but I have to say you have some of the best landscapes to photography so diverse. Cheers for watching 🙏🏽
@@JohnyJSpencer truly enjoyed watching your very informative looonnngg exposure. I’ll share some of my work. I am in beautiful Southern California, one if these days would love to travel to down and under.
@@Expprods awesome mate you sure do live in a beautiful part of the world. 👍🏼
Where in Great Britain is this,I’m surprised it’s not raining and dismal.
Hey mate this is in Australia on the NSW south coast Cheers for watching 🙏🏼
why would i want a photo of some rocks in a saucer of milk, the sea is never still why stop it
It’s a creative choice to use long exposures and something depending on the elements in your frame you want to simplify things by smoothing out the water to bring attention to those elements remember when it comes to composition generally keeping it simple and clean will always give your stronger comps.
You took out the footprints. Oh Horror! You are now banned along with Princess Kate. Making an image be what you want it to be is forbidden by the image police and those who cannot do it. The biggest sin in photography. Its good your not showing people! What would you have done with them? Oh Horror. Great result anyway. Keep up the good work, editing and all.
Haha I know its a criminal offence LOL thank you for watching 🙏🏼
