His ability to pass well with both feet isn't spoken about enough
In my opinion, I rate him way ahead of Ødegaard bcuz he brings more to the team than Ødegaard. When Partey & Xhaka can’t progress the ball forward he goes in there to make 433, he greats spaces for others, he runs into the small packets which defenders hate it, he doesn’t dwell on the ball, he plays one touch with others around him which accelerated the attack and he’s more dangerous when comes to productive (chance creation, assist, and goals).
But ESR on the left MO in the 10 and saka on the right with martinelli upfront Arsenal will be unstoppable

Totally agree with your statement just want to add to it. He's got great strength, a great physique and puts himself in between his opponent and the ball brilliantly which helps us get frees in difficult positions. I love his let's get on with it style of play (pass and move or drive forward with it) that is kinda the opposite to what Ceballos did (taking too many touches and not deciding quick enough what to do).
@@barraoneill spot on mate. Our fanbase keep disrespecting him and every time I see them doing starting eleven they don’t include him most of the times which is mind boggling. He start December and Ødegaard join January but in terms of chance created, G/A ESR is miles ahead. He more than one dimensional player, he is versatile and team player.

If ESR can’t come back soon enough to play a part in the remainder of the season, then it’s going to be a really disappointing end to the season. The fact that we are so dependent on these kids is a testament to how poor our recruitment has been over the past few years. So sad
And a testament to how lucky we are to have gotten two absolute world class potential players in esr and saka together. I haven't been this hyped since Wilshere first broke out against barca.

Smith Rowe is such an elegant player with so much flair to his game, but the thing is he barely has to do any unnecessary skills to achieve that. He's definitely gonna be up there with the best later in his career if he don't get affected by injuries. 👑

Think the match against Liverpool showed how Odegaard is more effective against opposition who sit back but struggles when he doesnt have time on the ball. Emile's game is quick passing and constant movement. Was sorely missed alongwith Saka and Xhaka. We're so average without them.
We were worse than average against Liverpool, a lot worse. We could hardly string two passes together

Add the front 3 who were so disconnected, it was awful to watch. Now that Tierney and Luiz is out, Mikel's egoistic squad management will come to the fore. Could have had Guendouzi (Xhaka), Saliba (Luiz) AMN (Tierney) but he's chucked them all out on loan and persists with Ceballos and Willian. Doesnt even use Martinelli, Nelson, Balogun. Fans need to stop "trusting the process" cuz its nothing to do with inexperience and everything to do with his ego. Ofc he's a brilliant tactician but thats all he has.

Just his game awareness and quick release of the ball have made a huge difference. Stark contrast to someone like Ceballos and Xhaka who take too much time on the ball.
Ceballos is overrated xhaka definitely not good enough
Seen alot of people say he passes backwards to much but if you pay attention you will see he resets the play. Something Ozil also did but people think its the same as Elneny and Xhaka
Quick, intelligent and hardworking, I love this kid. He should always be a starter in this team together with Saka, Tierney, Partey, Martinelli, Gabriel, Mari, Leno, Cedric and Lacazette. These are the few players that are reliable in the team, the rest are junk and should be disposed of in the summer.
Knew he always had ability. But this season as been unthinkable. He’s going to get even better. Protect him at all cost. Deserves 10 next year.
