YOU CAN'T TRUST CRYPTO EXCHANGES. CRYPTO EXCHANGE AND BANKING SYSTEM IS THE SAME. GET SELF-CUSTODY OF YOUR BITCOIN. STORE IT IN "TREZOR" BITCOIN WALLET. IMO. PEACE.
Check your mail please!
The electrical distribution in these buildings has got to be the cleanest well designed layout I've ever seen.
thx for giving such a good insight on how such facilitys on such a big scale are dealt witth. keep up the good work!
Vos! Another eye opening video....I noticed all the miners had their own power supply. Is there a reason why a special voltage circuit couldn't replace all of those individual power supplies and save cost and maintenance?
Do none of the workers wear hearing protection? I feel like it may be too loud to be around for a while
I have no idea how you keep this amazing content coming. Fair play !
How did they buy energy? Did they buy directly on the energy wholesale market or they use an intermediary?
Thanks for the detailed and interesting explanation. What about privacy coins like Monero or Crypton CRP? Privacy coins pretty nice choice nowadays if you need anonymous transactions. The only thing that is necessary to start CRP mining is an internet connection and a modern computer with the basic characteristics that every computer has today.
I think this is good, BTC was never planned to mine in this rate, BTC should mine by small people. not this hugh mega corporation
Not sure what they invested into that building, but it might of been a move made in the run up. We run 120mw with no building. A small office. Modest for times like these. Beautiful idea though if mining were continually profitable. With halving on the horizon, I would've held off on that building.
Could we come tour the farm? 👀
@VoskCoin I would need to confirm with our CEO. Some of the items inside the MDC's are proprietary, so they're particular about those not being filmed or snapped in photos. I'll check with them and get back to you. Much different setup than Core's. Would definitely be a good comparison to show two different approaches.
Great content! This is what I need to keep my crypto in my cold storage Tangem wallet
Outstanding Tks for share
Thanks for the insight on how the inside of a Bitcoin site looks.... this was a awesome video 📹 👍💯💯
All this network internet cables for each miner and configurations to mining pool..
Crypto Currency is Humanity's Biggest ILLUSION. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
"We're in the long game" dang, that's rough. Seems like really nice well-built place!
They seemed quite proud of security but it didn't seem that secure with the mesh filter walls and a fence in the back that could be jumped over. The bigger issue has to be the amount of money spent on cabling electrical and networking alone, much less all the hardware. Add in the amount of labor to keep this place running and I can't see how this was profitable. Even with cheap power that's a big scale to keep up and running. At less than $1,000,000 a day mining ~45btc a day(I assume all 3 facilities) at todays pricing that's not a lot of revenue for that investment.
I 😂😂😂 when he put up the fun fact about these guys going bankrupt. ‘We’re in it for the long game’
Awesome video!
45 BTC/day o_O And these guys managed to go bankrupt? Someone out there was definitely putting that money to "SHOW ME YOUR EGO" use :( I mean come on how can you blow all that incredible work up :(
Right? A million dollars a day, and 2-3 mil at BTC highs. Something doesn't add up.
No just government overregulation and high taxes. Crypto mining cannot be accomplished in the US on a large scale.
Them shutting down gives better security because it saturates the machines instead of too many in on place and better rates for little guys
Great to hear you like products from TSMC.
What kind of self miner rigs are they using?
So where are they holding the bankruptcy auction? Asking for a friend 😏
2 questions . what is the power rate ? and what are they doing with all the heat generation? it would be a crime to not use the heat generated
Why didn't they invest in renewable energy instead of relying on the grid? They could have put up solar panels or a wind turbines that produced enough free energy. It could have kept them in business and been green.
The amount of solar and wind, if it is even a good site for it, would be astronomical, and wouldn't be running 24/7. Solar max output for most of the US is around 5 hours a day and wind is spotty even in really good areas. I live in a place with a wind farm in the surrounding properties and even those are only on maybe 10-12 hours a day. At best it could offset costs during peak solar production but the cost to install/maintain it would be more than just buying cheap power from the grid.
@@sandmanxo New wind green energy are insane, the work 24/7 and even between buildings like in NYC. It is all about the designed. Maybe these crypto farms will upgrade as new green technology comes online. #hodl
It all comes down to money. its more practical to use grid power and buy more machines than to invest in renewables. It would be better to get nuclear, hydro or geothermal power.
You are too simple and naive. Green is not always good and reliable.
@@wwyhkop Nothing is an absolute. The electric grid is not always good and reliable either. But at least with solar, wind, and battery packs, it reduces the strain on the aging power grid.
This has to be one of the most craziest tour when you think about it to make money at this level
Not when you consider how much of it is leveraged against tax payers debt.
Amazingly good
This is mind boggling
How many ASICS miners do they have?
very impressive !!!
This guys doesn't f' around, very efficient!
power company loves this place...
Great content keep up the good videos. Appriciate your sharing.
Fantastic
Can U imagine, if there is Power Gid Shortage, & U lose all your INVESTMENT.. It will turn out to B like 1929..
Prof of work is a under stament
Why not cover the floors and walls with sound proofing?
Super
Any ASIC liquidations planned?
Nah. They're still mining, even in bankruptcy. If BTC goes way up, they probably will survive.
Love the channel, would you like to come tour a Cleanspark Facility? Would love to show you our large scale immersion deployment!
we'd love to, will reach out now.
This video doesn’t have enough likes my dude This Is Nuts Wtf did I just watch.
Asphalt is a terrible choice for paths/roads in this situation, and any situation that heat is the enemy. Asphalt retains and emits tremendous amounts of heat.
Wow the rich getting richer..... awesome 👌
25:55 theyve got clark kent working in the back here
Bad ass video
So, why don’t Bitcoin mining facilities use the futures market to hedge in downturns? Many, many industries successfully do this through the lean times.
I see why they went bankrupt. The overhead is astronomical.
Naahh I’m sure there is more to it than just their Opex
@@guyanisimov1562 Theres nothing more to bankruptcy than operational expenses vs profit.
Nuts, so if a supper efficient well organised mining facility goes bust it can’t be going well for all the others mines and the mining road is coming to end? What I don’t understand if millions sell something and make profit in bitcoin or buy bitcoin then surely the demand for bitcoin will out strip the available bitcoin?
Part of the issue too is they borrowed a lot and were margin called on there debt. It may be easier running a large facility but your at the mercy of your local law and energy provider. Miners are moving towards more mobile platforms because of unpredictable local governance and energy prices thanks to congress.
They expanded to fast and took on a TON of debt to build the facilities and buy all the equipment/repair components. When the market crashed, they were SUPER upside down.
No, it would just go up in value.
It's cool and it maybe the future but it does seem like a lot of effort and resources just to get a virtual coin/token.
The US dollar is just as virtual and runs on proof of war.
Why you can create electricity yourself they can do it through water or solar
I would love to buy that pennys on the dollar
It is sad to see such giant project going bankrupt, the effot and finances for such a mining farm is astonishin
You should see the new sites..... Massive Scale, Massive Hashrate, Core will survive, Just a Cycle..... #BitCoin --- Lucky Tour Drew
I wonder if they have room for my 1983 Commadore 64?
This site is an absolute monster😮
And this is the smaller one..
they should be wearing ear protection, too many loud environments with sustained high decibels. not safe.
Correct
9:40 some ass falt
they should have just bought the bitcoin...
Editor brynn putting in the hours watching old videos and re-editing ;)
ay man, we out here hahaha. This was definitely one of my favorite vids we've done! Keep an eye out for MFT Season 2
Their energy must be cheap to pull this off. Holy scaling. Holy hearing damage.
When they went bankrupt, is the place still mining Bitcoin
So how much does it cost to host my miners ?
They went bankrupt lol
@@VoskCoin That's so sad though am deawn to technology of mining
am just wanting one up and running
Wonder if they're still hosting while they sell everything and pay their billion plus debt..?
They consume so much energy
What is the eletricity cost per kw/h of a farm like that? if they are running very old ASIC i imagine is almost free lol
Wow
I wonder what happened to all the equipment when they filed for BR
Why not move the whole thing to a new country? Island or Ecuador or any other country ? Why not get 1-2 submarine nuclear engines ? arround 200 MW / engine? This has to be very very bad management. Or the guy transfered all btc in a wallet somewhere and declared bankrupcy to not pay taxes.
S9 miner is too old for mining, better to sell and buy like s19 pro or xp
the video is old
The massive amount of energy consumed to mine these software and intangible items needs to go away... Crytpo doesn't need to go away just the absurd amount of energy it takes needs to be reigned in.
The energy is the security. The US dollar runs on proof of war, which uses way more power.
what no break room.
It looks like a computer platform to support internet services.....
What is the electricity charge of these miners
The Matthew Effect in full effect … the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
Broke 😹
Core Scientific failed its investors, because bankrupt before this video--so you are correct. This is like pumping FTX after they were exposed. I've got to question Vosk here. Very discerning. Edit: Did not realize this video was a redeux.
That's why they need shit tons of solar panels to keep the price of electricity down.
Do you know what their base kwh $USD rate is? I heard around $0.07. Can you reach out to me as we have 250MW in africa at much lower than that.. currently in setup phase, maybe we can get you out to tour what we have going on.
will be belly up before end of year
They already declared bankruptcy, which was stated in the video lol.
Sir sent the website link of the form for which you have made the video.
Try googling
what year? b8 is very inefficient in 2023
This footage is from 2019, pre-bankruptcy
“This item is out of stock” Is all this video kept making me think about when looking for a new GPU
I expected they’d be super paranoid in a business like this but instead granting full access to their entire layout while giving away what sounds like trade secrets and sensitive information regarding security, routing of power, backup systems, etc.
Well they are public so they might have considered this as a PR stint
Sorry we’re public 😂
RIP, my little gaming laptop trying to mine, haha.
HDD powrócą do budowy eco kryptowaluty, NO ASIC
understand outstanding unstoppable !
Ok
7:00 I imagine vosk just not understanding a word lol
AI WW 2.9 version and all the prohibited copies , are under control .. So , the whom it may concern: Are those who adopted the political game , and never give up at all ...Thier ethics are ruling everything .. Yes, it depends on situation. And we make the exceptions and create the deals!
Borrow money, Declare bankrupt, Continue mining.
Who was the other narrator ? he sounded South African ?
Brynn, one of our video editors, he is!
Core Scientific went bankrupt….? No Way …😮
so that's where all the graphic cards went...
You can't mine bitcoin with a GPU. In this video these are specialized ASIC miners. None of these contain Nvidia nor AMD etc. graphic cards.
I know I should be paying attention to the tour but hold on.. did Vosk get swole? 💪
lol, this is a years old video. he let himself go since then
@@cybersechs1368 😂 oh… nvm then
@@BeestingRacing he's just revisting an old video. pretty sure he's happy they went bankrupt, i think the snubbed him a wrong way. schadenfreude for you
Ga kebayang kalo scam anjir
It would be nice if we can buy their machines at a discount…
lol
Environmentally conscious lol. you just can't be mining Bitcoin by non-renewable power
Quite the impressive buildout and detail... too bad they went under.
They only went into bankruptcy they will continue to operate just on the tax payers dime
One EMP and good bye 👋
God bitcoin is so awfully inefficient, it was a great idea on paper 20 years ago but its such a outdated way of making new coins. like the actual banks are using less computational power at this point...
(not hating on the mine itself he did a great job with the layout and building, but btc itself)
I JUST DONT GET OR UNDERSTAND WHAT THESE COMPANIES DO WITH THEIR MONEY AFTER YEARS OF MINING ONLY TO GO BANKRUPT!???? THIS MAKES ZERO FINANCIAL SENSE! MY KADENA MINERS MAKE MORE MONEY THAN ANY BITCOIN MINER EVER DID AND I CAN JUST TRADE THAT IN FOR BTC! I JUST DONT GET IT! LOLZ
This business model is doomed to fail from the start. Once all the Bitcoin are mind, that's it, no more. Then what?
It can't be mined in a whole, the more they mine the more bitcoin value goes up.
