  • Good fight ! For some unknown reason I was pulling for Desiree to win, before the fight actually started. Both ladies were aggressive and it appeared to me that it was pretty even until the take down and Desiree got the upper hand.

    • Yanez looked like a much more technically skilled boxer and also dominated with takedowns and ground control in the second round. I think she would have won by decision even without the leg break. Would be nice to see a rematch!

    • If you look at the last take down her legs were crossed when she hit the canvas. I wonder if they were twisted and she landed wrong on the take down. You could be right she could have done it when she crossed her legs holding her opponent in the guard, but i think that is unlikely.

  • That was quite a show Desiree. You fought exactly the way I've been advising other women to do. And I wanted to add one small bit of encouragement for you. Try to use more kicks to the lower abdomen during your late first and second rounds. And if your opponent gets you into the clinch, even in the first or second round, remember your elbows first and knees to the inner thigh second, as things progress. My congrats.

  • Veta Arteaga vs Desiree Yanez - tough fight to call - basically it will depend who can move forward and start landing heavier earlier - Dirty Dez was very strong, had decent power as a SW, but here she is fighting at FW - Arteaga is more used to fighting in this weightclass, she has better straight shots,has fought wrestlers andgrapplers before - still, Yanez is very tough, she will push forward and try to implement her wrestling, Arteaga is not difficult to take down, but it is difficult to pass her guard and to hold her down - Arteaga from top is dangerous and she is not afraid to shoot and land her G&P - back and forth here, I will be going with Arteaga, she has proven herself more in MMA - would like a bet on Arteaga by dec My channel for complete breakdown and my consistent and transparent strategy - 341% profit in 2020 - all transparent and recorded, check it out
