how.old were you when you started and how did you stop and what age? If you could please tell me, I feel hopeless with my teenager starting to smoke, I'm afraid if he'd be addicted to this. I'm praying and surrendering it to the Lord but why it's still hard inside of me
From 2020 as I received Pastor Steven Furtick as my teacher and pastor and started putting what he preaches into practice.. I can't promise you I never tap out. But each time I went out Jesus my tap root went deep and I learnt to tap in more and Praise the name of Jesus. And from 2020, sometimes I cry through the sermon, sometimes I take notes.. but sometimes I do both.. today was such a day.. I love you Pastor.. Thank you for let me know Jesus is my tap root.❤❤❤❤

My father was a abusive alcoholic ,then I was in addiction for 26yrs I have been clean for 4yrs. I am 52 now and I struggle everyday .Trying to stop the cycle for my grandkids

watching from Germany. i am not lying. this sermon wasn´t clicked on on purpouse. i was looking for something that should help me with my Leviathan....and littlerly accesdentally clicked on this video. Gods voice cilently said: don´t skip that video, watch this one. And even tho the tilte sounded like a huge questionmark to me at first, in the end, God wanted me to see this. i startet to pray multiple times in the middle of the video because i could feel Gods presence soo much!! it was insane!! Guys if anything in this coment should stick into your head please listen: keep searching God....... especially in the darkest, hardest and most painfull, even shamefull times in your life. NEVER STOP SEEKING FOR HIM AND HIS WORD!!! I Feel like there has been a huge weight been lifted off my shoulders it is crazyyy

I love how Pastor Furtick gives examples and is so open about his own struggles; it's so rare for a pastor to do. Also, Leviathan was definitely not a myth. He was a very real, living creature; and there is a very real spirit of leviathan. Just like Jezebel was a real woman, and there's a spirit of Jezebel. I just wanna say that for the people who are oppressed by this demon, so they don't feel it's all in their head. ❤️ There is hope for you, and God will fulfill His promise, to slay that real demon in your life. 🙌🙏

I was feeling like a empty shell this week and many times. You would know why if you knew my circumstances but that's Not the excuse. I started to watch church here at elevation. And I let someone interrupt me that I love so much. And I didn't get back to his sermon. I'm so glad I decided to watch it this morning on thursday. Depression is like the walking dead, but it doesn't mean it has to be a permanent fixture in us. Thank you, Lord for letting me forgive myself for something that happened. Tragically tragically that I feel responsible for. Thank you for loving me lord. Thank you Lord for this pastor that has come in my life. that's helped me. in Jesus name,Amen....
There’s only so much tapping we can do. The metaphors are encouraging for a while. Where’s the fruit after 2 years of tears, loneliness, prayer, praise, gratitude and trying to stay focused on God, but not even wanting to get out of the bed each morning. At the end of each day, I’m crying all over again asking that God heals my heart. Thanking him for the strength to make it through another day, but not wanting to face another one.

I'm 4 days sober from alcohol...after so much of God's goodness... in recovery from heroin and other substances... I became so discouraged and angry at God. I suffer severely with panic attacks. My children have seen... once again... what damage this thing called addiction is. About 10 days ago ... going back to detox.... AGAIN... I didn't stay. Yet God sent someone I never would have expected to come get me while stranded 3 hours away. No money. No working phone. Bruised and so angry. Ready to fight. Full of complete self hatred and total despair... To begin something beautiful. Please pray for me and my kids. All that have been effected by my choices. Against shame. 😢 Thank you Steven for your honesty. I also have explained to these kids. One ... Just one.... And you could be like me... Like your fathers, dead or in prison. Never ever intending it to turn into this! I'm so grateful for this message. It's very hard. But I do see Him non stop moving... Even tho I turned my back completely on Him and my kids. For the millionth time! 😢😢😢 Thank you. I relate a lot to this.

I’m not sure if you (Steven)will ever see this comment as you are busy with touring, preparing God’s word, family, but I’m sure someone on your team will do its worthy to share. I started watching full sermons a couple of weeks ago (I’ve watched the 15 min clips for a long time). I share the clips I watch daily on my Facebook page and have made comments that addiction must have touched your life in some way, shape or form (I am a family medicine NP that offers addiction medicine services). Today I learned how it affected you. Your messages have given me information to help treat my patient population

So much spoke to me so thank you pastor Steven Furtick, but two things stood out to me the most. One is when you said Waging War because that’s the name of a ministry I’m a part of ! And two is when you said Praise Is My PROTECTION!!! Because for the conference my ministry is doing this weekend I’m singing Protector! On top of everything else God has already been telling me and teaching me. Through your teaching God is teaching me even more depth. That not only is HE my PROTECTOR but through worship I am PROTECTED. That our praises let’s the enemy know that we aren’t tapping out despite whatever it is we are feeling and going through!

Thank you Thank you Thank you Jesus is in that church. I can feel it when I watch the sermons online and I most definitely felt it when I was there in person. My partner committed suicide. He was there with me last year. I loved him and he loved me but we lost the fight against the devil. Pray for me and my peace. This was just what I needed to hear today. I’m afraid of my own insecurities and they only have the power I give them, Instead I should be giving my power to the Holy Spirit and trusting in his power. Trust and rejection are the insecurities I’m fighting against today. I never realized I had this problem until I dug deep and got honest with god so he could heal this pain.

Apparently the devil was trying to get at me while I was sleeping. So I screamed LEVIATHAN LEAVE ME ALONE I said LEAVE ME ALONE LEAVE MY MARRIAGE ALONE LEAVE MY FAMILY ALONE and if you don’t leave me alone, I have a friend and His name is Jesus.
