I just love the fact that in 2012, Sweden vs Russia, it’s almost all Canadian fans with team Canada shirts, cheering for Sweden.
Mostly because Canada lost to Russia in the semis that year i think.

2016 was the best U20 i have ever watched, the Finnish talent was insane. Pulaaho🥇 everyone knew that when the 3 Huge talents went to the field the opponents should be afraid. They played everything so perfectly, Probably the best Finnish U20 team that has ever been.
Too bad Puljujarvi hasn’t been able to translate that level of play over to the NHL.

To me the best final was 2011 when Russia was losing 3-0 to Canada after 2 periods and came back to win 5-3. Definitely one of the best comebacks in junior hockey history.
Canada, Finland, Sweden, USA & Russia. Always these 5 in the final. Let's see if Czech Rep can get there this year, they're looking strong.
Well it was good to watch the Czech’s performance. Beat Canada in the round robin, made it all the way to the Gold medal game and had Canada on their heels. Czech/Slovak hockey looking like they both have a bright future with all their young talent. “Canada born & raised”

That Finnish 2016 team included Rantanen, Laine, Aho, Hintz, Puljujärvi, Kapanen, Kähkönen, Mikkola... Also other NHLers Juolevi, Niku, Lammikko, Vehviläinen, Saarela and Björkqvist I think Saarijärvi will get his shot also soon, so then 18 of the 25 starters in the final would have played in the NHL Best U20 team ever?

That was so good we had Kähkönen (plays in nhl) Mikko Rantanen (top 10 player in the nhl right now) Patrik Laine (on of the best shots in nhl) Sebastian Aho hes also very good now and jesse puljujärvi (was given the best player of the tournament)

But they had one of the best comeback wins in junior history in 2011 when they were down 0-3 to Canada after 2 periods and came back to win 5-3. That to me is one of the most memorable finals. The one in 2016 was also very memorable.
Lol, 2022 the Canadian Goalie (Dylan Garand) is a child hood bestfriend. Words cant describe the 3 seconds of emotions during that mctavish save that my family felt lol.
Canada won way less in the last 10 years than it did the 10 years before. As much as I want to see Canada win, that's still a good thing, since it means hockey is starting to get way more international. The more ppl play hockey, the happier I am :D

I felt so bad for jatkola last year
I remember a year when Canada got away with everything in the final against Sweden. They body checked the Swedish goalie twice and got no penalty either time and they were hooking, did tripping and all sorts and nothing and Sweden got called for the smallest thing. The penalties Sweden got that was nothing made them lose the game and Canada should have had at least 8 boxplays and maybe even a 5+20.
To bad sweden didnt win back in 13 and 14 when they had an amazing team…lets hope next year when they actually have a monster team again

The 2015 Canadian team is up there as one of the best of all time. Still doesn’t beat the 2004 team with Crosby, Getzlaf, Perry, Burns, Seabrook, Fleury, Phaneuf, Richards and Carter. That is thee greatest junior team ever. Just a complete juggernaut that toyed with everybody. Easiest gold Canada will ever get
