Since being the caretaker for my 94 yr old Aunt, I like to clean w/o using harsh chemicals near her. I got one and I can clean her bedroom, kitchen, bathroom w/o using chems. When the mop is dirty wash it in the machine with whites.

I own a Haan steamer had it for years. I paid a lot more money and it is still working fine. I know people who replace these (budget priced)units a year later if not sooner.

Would you say this is better than the symphony Bissell all in one that vacuums and steams? Because I have that Bissell and it's ok but washing the pads sucks and If I wipe the tile with a baby wipe afterwards there is STILL dirt on my floor. I too got it because my daughter started crawling and I wanted the floor to be spotless but so far I have yet to find anything to really get all the dirt and spills.

My ‘floor install guy’ could take a hammer as demonstration on my new flooring, reminded me my floor is water proof from dog / water bowl spills, etc., but he doesn’t recommend I use a steam cleaner on my floor. Odd I thought ?
