Polyglots Talking To Each Other

Two Polyglots Speaking Five Languages in a video is a fun and entertaining thing! My half Japanese and half Turkish friend Ruri joined me in todays video. It was interesting to talk to someone who grew up with two different native languages because most of you know I also grew up with multiple languages. I used to speak German mainly but to my parents and grandparents I spoke Turkish. Besides Japanese and Turkish, Ruri also speaks German. In addition to that, I speak Spanish as well. And the both of us also speak English. So, that's 2 polyglots speaking 5 languages. Enjoy!

If you want to learn Turkish and understand the Turkish language and its logic, you definitely need to watch this video till the end.
A lot of people around the world have been wanting to learn Turkish because of Turkish TV series. I also post about English, Spanish and German.
On my channel I am explaining the key elements of the structure of Turkish, how it is used and what the main similarities and differences between Turkish and English (and other European languages) are. If you are a beginner and want to start learning English and don't know where to start, I'll show how to learn Turkish fast by firstly understanding the language culture and structure. Since Turkish is an agglutinative language, people struggle thinking in Turkish and therefore might learn the grammar because it is rather easy but the usage in everyday conversation can be quite different.

Since I was three, i started watching Turkish cartoons, from Trt çocuk, or yumurcak tv, minika go and etc. I have been to Turkey for couple of times and I have got lots of friends from Turkey. Moving on with English. I went to an English school since first grade, till fifth grade. We used to talk in English with our friends and teachers. We had teachers and classmates from all over the world. After changing my school I started learning german at school. It was quite easy at first, but then I realized actually it was freaking hard. I'm still working on improving my German. The fifth language that I know is Russian. My dad graduated from russian school. My sisters are studying at Russian school, my mom knows russian fluently and we are using Russian language at home. The sixth, and probably the last ons is Spanish. I started learning Spanish during quarantine. I'm still learning. I can talk a little bit, like introducing myself, talking about my family or just general things. But of course using basic words. I also have amigo (friend) from Mexico. And yeess, that's it. I know, and learn 6 languages, Azerbaijani, Turkish, English, Russian, German and Spanish. Thank you for reading❣

In my opinion, the reason is, since childhood we spent so much time watching Turkish cartoons. And while growing, or after being adult we watch Turkish movies and series. But for Turkish people, as they never hear Azerbaijani language, it is quite hard for them. There are some words that are similar to each other, but pronunciation is different. It is important to mention that, Azerbaijani language's vocabulary also has words from Russian language.

  • Hi, it is amazing how you two speak many languages. I know you were raised in Germany from Turkish parents, and that is why you speak both fluently, I assume you learned English in school, and now you say you learned Spanish as well, but in both you are also so fluent!! I think it is a great talent you have there. I am Spanish speaker from Peru now living for many years in Florida, USA. I am still amazed how the language works in the brain, my children speak English as their first language and even though I always speak Spanish, they have it as second, and sometimes I feel they are missing it. My nephew was born in Germany, mom is German and dad is my brother from Peru, he also speaks both, plus English very fluent from school.
