I wanted a CanAm for years (since 2015) but was afraid that a redesigned look was soon on the horizon. eight years later, they finally did it lol....
I was disappointed that the rear was not redesigned but they did such a good job on the frontend that I'm still satisfied.
The power is out of this world and hands down the fastest stock quad I have ever been on!

Yeah, I have the 2022 and it is awesome and I do full sand in four-wheel-drive all the time never had any problems with it. I’ve had a couple of these bikes now they are well-built.

I might not be a quad person, I mainly do enduro on my two stroke but this quad has to be the coolest off-road machine on 4 wheels I've ever seen ❤
I love two stroke bites too!! 😍😍 That's actually what I grew up on! Yeah I never thought I would say this because I love straight axle sport quads like the Raptor or Banshee but I really think I like the Renegade best! I can't say for sure yet because the Renegade is still in its stock form but I imagine once I get some modifications I'll like riding it more than my Raptor 🤘😁
Well with no straight rear axle on the Renegade you still have more grunt and torque, that's the compromise you have to make. We'll be waiting to see the upgrades you make on the quad if any.

I have the Honda 700xx. It's a rear wheel drive sport manual/clutch with IRS all around so it adds to the fun. I'm not a huge cvt fan since all you do is press the gas. Still a beast!
I like the CVT for a change but I wouldn't want it for my only quad.
Maaaaaan I bought a 700xx a few years ago and just recently parted ways with it. I couldn't get on it without doing 90 every time. What a mental machine💪
Takes away from the fun depending on who you are. Looking to get back into quads at 41 and I have no interest in a clutch. I'd rather just spend money on this and he just as fast.

Man them renegades are crazy they do it all got fwd for the rough stuff and they would out run sport quads even a raptor 700r when there both stock but not by all that much I don’t think that’s a hard pill to swallow cause ima proud own of a raptor 700r. Also what I didn't mention is 2020 and newer Raptors have a different ECU that doesn't pull as much timing in 5th gear which gives them a higher top speed of about 78 or so. Although my Renegade is faster than my Raptor when it was stock, I'm kind of curious as to how the acceleration would compare.
I raced one of these in my 2023 raptor with big 3 and we got a tie but you have to get a perfect launch, those quads ain’t no joke. I’m also gonna get the renegade for my wife lol

My 2017 Can am 570 Outlander will do 74 mph stock when I first bought it I could not believe it so I got my buddy in his truck to drive beside me and yes it goes 74 mph unreal 👍 iam going to sell it its almost 7 years old now and my next quad is going to be the one you are riding Renegade 1000 XXC I love these quads Can am all the way Can am number 1
That's actually pretty good speed for 570! Yeah, you will not regret it. In fact, I've had more fun on this quad than any other quad except for my Raptor. And really it's a toss up between the Raptor but the main thing I really like is I can flip the Raptor around a little bit easier lol.
If i never have gotten my raptor this would of been next on my list.

Nice, I unlocked my 2023 XMR and I do 85 easy.. I have not really kept her pinned but the max speed I have right now is 138 KM/h and there was more. .. The thing is with those cryptid tires it gets pretty sketchy at that speed.. When I find a nice flat surface, I'll do a test.

My Honda trx700xx did 87 bone stock no upgrades or anything. Then I geared up and put big gun exhaust and it does 90 easily
Buddy of mine has his piped and tuned he hit 154 kmph
@@codylent1154 mine has a clutch, tune and pipe. Original tires that are getting worn though. I’m also 215lbs. bigger tires would increase the speed as well

All love bro. I just enjoy racing. But for some reason my 1000r hasn’t been touched by any stock bike made yet. Which is weird . I had it put on dyno to see hp and it’s putting down 96hp bike is almost hitting 96mph. My bike is a beast

I have a can am maverick 1000r it's pretty fast I love it. I just sold my rzr cause I got tired of pouring money into it every other trip, so I just bought this can am I'm hoping it's better then the rzr if not i may just go back and buy 4 wheelers for my family again and Me just go back to my banshee and forget about the SXS lol
From what I've been reading can am designs there 4wd to run at all speed in all conditions, but I've only been reading up on it for the last 2-3 weeks

Interesting topic! So I'm from Florida and everybody says four wheeler as well. The reason I adopted the term quad which I believe is a more northern thing is because it's so much easier to say on the fly, quad being one syllable versus four-wheeler, being multiple syllables and then at times when you're being lazy you tend to say four wheela which makes you sound country as hell 🤣
I'm from Indiana ,and we've always said four wheeler. At some point, I started to say quad, but only because I thought that's what other people said and that my term four-wheeler was weird for some reason? Play encounter the same thing with my 🎉 I have a Yamaha yxz with 300 horsepower to the wheels, and I call it my buggy or my b5people look at me weird
Cool quad but mine only lasted 4hours before the rear differential exploded. Warranty didn’t cover it either they claimed it stopped too fast from 11mph from what the ecu showed. Really liked it. 🤷♂️

My 2022 renegade xmr 1000 top speed 120km/hr(canadian here) It is hard to steer on gravel. The front end is so light with that much torque and power. The only thing is I run in the mud and skag so it does over heat without a rad relocate. So I dropped the rad coolant and went and used RED LINE supercool waterwetter (mix 60/40) it reduces the temperature up to 30 F

I like the Renegade better because it feels a little more nimble and sporty. The sportsman 1000 felt a little bit more like a boat. What I do like about the sportsman 1000 a lot more was it was much louder from factory. Which for me wouldn't be a big deal because I would put exhaust on it anyways. But in this case I'm not going to put exhaust on it because my wife doesn't want extremely loud but I would have liked it to be a little bit louder from factory.

I will make a video just for you! My Raptor is lowered so it will be a good comparison to your Raptor. But in the meantime I'll do my best to explain. I would shift to second gear and then dump the clutch and try to ride it out. Otherwise you could snap the throttle but you risk getting up at higher speeds faster than one would like. I hope this helps.

🤣🤣🤣 LMMFAO!! This is past the residential area and unless you're going to the boat ramp no one passes through there unless you're going off-road. The boat ramp on this road is rarely used due to the river being too shallow in that area.

Wow! That's pretty quick for a 570! Yes I would love to put exhaust on this one but being that it's my wife's it'll probably remain stock lol... But I'm already considering picking one up for myself and putting exhaust on it and maybe some other mods 🤘😁
@QUADNATION yeah it's quick for whatever reason Can Am uses the 650 motor in the 570 and calls it a 570 lol but it is definitely the most sporty of the 2 up models for an ATV I take the rear seat off and put a storage container in its place when my wife isn't riding with me, I'm sure that renegade would sound amazing with an aftermarket pipe, Can Am Rotax V twin motors all have a unique awesome sound to them.
@@OPFOR-Watchman no it’s not lol… the 570 is a 570 cc and 48hp The 650 is 649cc and 62 hp.. You can’t make up 79cc and 14hp with a ecu change or whatever.. they are 2 completely different motors with completely different cases and heads etc..

Do you live in North Florida? This is Bible Camp Rd. It's not a trail as it is a country maintained road but ATV's are allowed to travel on the roads.
My banshee did 93 from the factory. Raced a Chevy Beretta GT all the way side by side.
I had a salesman tell me that one time years ago, but based on my own experience on an OEM banshee and watching other KZheadrs it seems that they can only reach about mid 70s.
I can tell you I bought mine brand new I went over 90, I have a neighbor bought one brand new and both go over 90. I would believe what I can prove and suggest you try it yourself. I know I never found any four wheeler to compare and raced my stick banshee in 250 on up class and have trophies track or drag nothing else can compete.

For drift, I say Yamaha Raptor 700 or any of the 450s. But the Renegade is still easy to whip around.
I’ve had my 2023 polaris sportsmen 1000 ultimate trail up to 85 before I had to brake. I don’t know what the top speed is yet
That's awesome!! I haven't maxed this one yet. At the very end of the video you can see I hit 82 but I was going uphill on dirt. I think it'll do 85 as well.

I just found out whole sale renegade 1000 is 10k then 500 for transporting and 300 assembly and taxes 18500 total for this bike

I talked to a can am dealer please don't pay full price guys. I made this mistake and found out the dealer pays whole sale price of 10k for the 1000 xxc. The msrp is 15970 after taxes and dealer fees your almost 19k.

Good 4 wheeler great pull but they never pull straight I got my fiance this same atv and they drive like a suv very nimble and top heavy
So I noticed when I went full send in four-wheel drive it did pull side to side but in two-wheel drive, other than getting squirrely in the sand it did pretty good!

It has what is called a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) transmission. Type the term into Google and you will find a video covering how it functions. It's actually pretty simple and rather cool how it works.
can-am put updated headlights on the 23 but why not taillights?

I got the full pipe and power commander v and etc. buttttttt you got the 4x4 and that’s sick af I feel the renegade is better overall and more practical but if I gotta whip it in the trails the raptor will get you. So I really like the Scrambler! I like the colors they offer and I really like the whiter stance and sportier fenders but I just can't get over how the front end looks like it was hit with a Mack truck 🤣🤣🤣 Also the headlights look really plain for the caliber of the quad. They could have went with something more compressed or complex like the Renegade.

I've had both. In the dunes here in Oregon the scrambler is much better. The renegade suspension can't handle the woops. The power is amazing. More low end than the scrambler
Polaris is pretty trash though.... They break too often.

Drag Racing, definitely the Raptor. But any other type of riding, I have more fun on the Renegade
I am 50 years old and the 4 wheeler that I bought, 2001 Kodiak 400 is kicking my a**. I ride it like a mad man and need something better to match the level of riding I am doing. I ride aggressively going fast, power siding, jumping, hill climbing, and trail riding. I can't make my mind up which one to get between the Raptor 700 or Renegade 1000. You replied you have more fun on the Renegade for all other type of riding other than drag racing. Can you either make a video on what makes the Renegade more fun with general riding or can you explain to me in the comments why you like it better. I am worried about the 2X weight of the Raptor and it maybe not as nimble through the tight trees. Please help me out with my decision. Thanks.

Fun video but if we did that on County Road we would be banned from riding it. Lots of expenses for county to grade and maintain.

But comparing it to my 734 Raptor with mild mods. I think the Raptor is still more fun! But I couldn't imagine adding a big three to the Renegade with a big bore 🤯🤯🤯
@QUADNATION I pretty much have the same set up as your big 3 monster and everything precision elite steering stabilizer flexx bars ect its a hand full but I'm also 6'4 and the raptor feels small to me half the time and the suspension beats the fuck out of me 😂 I don't know if I should keep throwing money at it to get it where I need to or buy the can am I know that can am gotta be more comfortable lol

My 2021 outlander 850 XT has done 83 and its bone stock
My thoughts on that are the 850 and 1000 both have more than enough power to reach 83 miles an hour so Can-Am has them governed at said speeds. Now if they weren't governed then the 850 would obviously be slower than the 1000.

That's interesting because I've seen multiple examples where the Can-Am was faster on acceleration and top speed. Are both machines stock and both in sport mode? The Can-Am is usually faster because it weighs 100 lbs less and is more aerodynamic.
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL it was stock and both in sport mode I can go well over 89 mph. he kept up he may have passed me if it stayed flat but then we hit the dune woops and he couldn’t keep up the suspension on the Polaris is far better with the 55” width and the suspension travel. with raptor 660s . If I get a good launch I can slightly out run them. It’s not winning by a mile but it does the trick

These are county maintained roads near Lake City, Florida. It's lawful to ride on public roads in most areas of Florida with the exception of blacktop roads.
