But you can hear a huge amount of funk / groove / disco influence in major mainstream artists nowadays...Bruno Mars, Pharrell, Anderson .Paak, Dua Lipa, Lizzo. Not to mention lots of artists that incorporate funk with other genres, like electro-funk and funk metal. The way music evolves is beautiful - we can still enjoy listening to the funk of the 70s anytime we like, but we can also hear it in all kinds of new ways now.
