As a leafs fan we had a amazing season gg Boston hell of a series we need to change a lot of things this season Joseph wolly played unreal this playoffs
William nylander got more heart on that team than anybody else on that roster tbh
Can't win with just heart. This team has no winning mentality. It's broken and it ain't working. Year after year.
@@jaymie-lee I agree, nylander shows up when it matters most consistently. Where was Marner this series when they needed him? He’s small, he doesn’t hit, he never goes into the corners fight for pucks, and he has no room to stick handle and be creative out there.
@@shawn4white exactly
Reilly s waaaaaaay overated.
Knies got the passion too. Domi too but he kinda took dumb penalties early in the series
We meet again looking forward into this series excited for Monday night !!! Letssss go bruin
Your Leaf kindness is appreciated. Rooting for the Cats to go all the way
Found you last playoffs and I love the objectivity here. You make great videos and streams man. This year showed they wouldn't be pushed around. I was 60% LETS GO, but 40% this wont last, this team fooled me more than any other roster they have had besides last year. I'm still of the opinion that they roll with Woll and maybe a 1B goalie through FA and trade marner since he just become a perimeter guy in the playoffs which completely limits any production at all.
I agree 💯Found this place around the same time too.
much appreciated and yeah I kinda agree about Marner and Woll especially. If I was Toronto I would not blow it all up, if you guys keep it together, it might time out where the Panthers win a cup ( or two) and then Bob sets off and the Leafs are next up, kind of like how we had to wait for TB to diminish before we had a chance.
Most likely fire the coach… I like your idea of bringing Brady into the team!
@@flyingfluffyhockey That's a nice thought but yeah, no. Leafs are next up for a rebuild after this era. That's what they're next up for.
LETS GOOO
Happy Leafs elimination day! A hockey tradition since 1967.
Just watched a whole city get gutted live on camera
It will be more difficult with the bears, but I believe in victory!!
Agree with your analysis on who the panthers would rather play in the second round. Also, boston is slower than the leafs, so again defensively should not be as big of a challenge. Boston's goal tending and defense looks pretty good though... Also, how tired/hurt will they be? We'll see on monday.
Bruins played a good game, Congrats Bruins fans.
I was a game late at picking pasta to show up. Monday will continue the cats journey, cats in 5. GO CATS.
Q: What's green and smells like pork ? A: Kermit's finger.
Welp, Cats better be eatin' their clam chowder for this series! Great fight by the Leafs, shame they just couldn't close it out
To be honest only know how to lose, never knew what winning was. Hope changes are on the way.
WOOHOOO
There hasn't been an upset in the East ... yet. I remember last year, it was a sure thing, then it wasn't.
The look on your face in the thumbnail lmao. On a side note saw a post on X from the great Stan Fischler. Great to see Stan still active in sports media. He mentioned in the post that he was a Leafs fan from 1942-52. I'm like "my dad is 73 and was born in 51" lol. Also kind of surprised me as I always thought Stan was a lifelong Rangers guy. Guy has forgotten more than most people know about hockey.
That was a great series, Bruins vs Panthers will be fun too. Go Bruins.
The first goal Sammy let in I feel like Woll saves it it’s a rough thing for leaf fans I’m not a leaf fan I’m a flames fan but I do feel bad for them lol
yeah over the shoulder short side is a tough one, if a guy places his shot there , and the goalie left any room, it's almost always going in. Sam played well but whenever Bruins lifted their play, Leafs were in trouble
Looking forward to playing against the Panthers again. Hopefully the Bruins can pull off a good revenge series but it’s going to be tough. Go Bs!
It depends on which bruins team shows up. If the team from the first 4 games shows up, it'll be a series. If the team from the last 3 games shows up, the panthers are gonna sweep us. Something was wrong with boston the last 3 games, and Im not sure if it was just the pressure of the series or what, but they turned in to a different team. We'll know on monday I guess.
Leafs tears are so sweet! 😂😂😂
The maple loafs are who we thought they were a pile of shit bahaha
Glad I don't watch would have ended up in Blue Water emerge with chest pain and anxiety. Wish the Oilers luck but I need a break from hockey. Year after year and no changes, and the losing . Just heartbreaking.
Go get get em boys, stay focused and play your game. Go Panthers 🐅🐯
Keefe has to go away (samsanov over woll in game 7 LOL), and the leafs should shope mathews and marner to free up salary and get some parts that maybe dont disappear in the post season.
Yeah that move boggles my mind. Woll was phenomenal in games 5 and 6 so you go back to Samsonov? Can't stand Marner's game. Dude is afraid of the corners.
@@SuperStrik9 Woll injured himself trying to make that save in the dying seconds in game 6.. apparently, he pulled his groin.
Woll was injured
@@miketapazis1179 Ah I see. Unfortunate.
Looks like my Bruins and your Panthers will meet again, just like last year, except this time we are doing this on round 2! I never expected this again so soon! lol I'll shoot you an email after a couple games and I'll tell you who to bet your money on. You would have made some good money last year if you had taken my advice! Good luck buddy. I think we are in for a really good series. We know what happens when our teams meet in the playoffs - it's a freaking battle and it's going to be so much fun I bet
I look forward to Toronto elimination day every year “spring has come, the leafs are out”
I said it in the Live. I feel for Leafs fans. That being said, cant wait till Monday. Get ready, Boston. Vezina Bobby is in the net. GO CATS GO. #Timetohunt
I'm both a Bruins fans and a Dol-fan, and I don't think you can compare Leafs to the recent Dolphins. No one really has considered the Dolphins to be a top team (even when they made the playoffs) since the Marino era, but I guess you're right, back in the 80's Miami was the top offensive team but didn't have a D to match, so in that aspect, we were similar to the Leafs. Anyway, I'm more relieved than happy at the win, but in all honesty - I don't have much hope that we can beat you guys. If that would happen - I'd be ecstatic!
Yeah I am comparing my collective experience the last 45 years as a Fins fan to that of a Leafs fan, and the multiple similarities in expectations vs results. The how we lose....The Stoyanavich game is like the Reimer game, Leafs/Bruins = Fins/Bills, the lifting of past glories and expecting that it means anything in the current day, the best teams going to waste like the year Marino got hurt or the Wansted collapse in the final 3 games (that was a good team that could have won) the list goes on.....Its just a fun comparison for me, so over summer I am going to do a biopic of sorts comparing the 2 teams and put it out on both channels :) Thinking about it it's more like the Leafs now are the Fins of the 80's 90's so maybe that is my point lol
@@flyingfluffyhockey I got it. I see you have really put a lot of thought into this and I admit that as a dolphins fan I never really felt that way, and the truth is I don’t know if I want to feel that way!!!
@@David99356 the book I wrote, it opens with me crying on my grandparents bathroom floor at age SEVEN because Earl Campbell just destroyed us in the playoffs, The cuts run deep my friend.
@@flyingfluffyhockey my cuts are deeper. I go back to the Sea of Hands play. Painful.
Bruins fans are intolerable... gonna have to stretch and limber up before attending the games
Toronto fans are super up beat and optimistic annoying, but Boston fans are just assholes you wanna punch in the face every time they open their mouth. Definitely hate Boston much more.
Lol I can’t believe I’ve been watching this dumpster fire team for almost 40 years. Toronto is a cursed hockey market im pretty much convinced at this point, we will never win a cup.
Please praise Swayman during our games so he falls apart 🤣
Funny to hear about hockey from clueless hockey fans, like this clown
McAvoy has been TERRIBLE with the puck when pressured for the last few games. Might be a weakness to exploit.
