Pokémon Scarlet/Violet: 7-Star Meganium Tera Raid EASY SOLO (No DLC)
Defeating 7-Star Meganium The Unrivaled Tera Raid without using DLC Pokémon, Legendaries or Version Exclusives.
Hello everyone I'm back again with another Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Tera Raid video. This time I attempt to catch the 7-Star Meganium with the Psychic Tera Type. I will be using Annihilape with the Ghost Tera and a Shell bell item. This strategy uses Critical Hits to punch trough Meganium's defenses and Taunt to keep it from boosting. For teammates I recommend an Intimidate user like Tauros, Arcanine or Staraptor and a group healer like Gardevoir or Arboliva. Good luck and hope you enjoy the video.

Cheers for this, all the Skeledirge builds and recommends are shit, this is the way. Good job. Got it first go, I did get Tauros, Umbreon and Dunsparce on my team first roll so was lucky
Make sure to keep the Taunt up as long as you can! It helps keep Meganium's stats low and forces it to damage you powering up Rage Fist.
How many times do you taunt? I see it only once?

When playing online, if you can get a partner which can give Meganium Weak Armor, will help. Using Armarouge with Weak Armor and Skill Swap is a good choice, it can also learn Iron Defense to resist most of his attacks, Reflect, Acid Spray, and Lava Plume, which is the best attack to Burn. Once the shield is down, Ghost Tera your Annihilape and if it has Defiant, one boost with hammer Meganium

Normal type tera raids
It shielded early for me so i just bulked up a few times and spammed rage fist and got the win
I can’t for the life of me get this build to work. Meganium always outspeeds me even with the right EVs, starting off with curse each time, and half my attempts always end with me getting one shot with a critical hit zen headbutt
It sounds like your Annihilape has very poor Speed IVs. Make sure to use bottle caps to max out your IVs before taking on a Raid.
@@Lone_Wolf_Gaming Maybe it could be a little faster, but I still keep getting unlucky with it attacking because it just keeps landing critical hits on me
@@andrewjones6583 Nothing you can do about crits, just keep trying you can do it! (also check your other IVs to make sure they are maxed out too.)
What’s your IV stats? HP and Attack or HP and Defense?

Thanks! Staraptor was absolutely necessary; wiped on my first try w/o it (right before tera), dominated on my second try w/ it. Also, in place of the Focus Energy, I just did another Bulk Up because I didn't want to remove Shadow Claw from my Annihilape, because it's a TM move.
@@ChrisDecrease In Scarlet and Violet TM moves taught to your Pokémon are added to its relearn move list so don't worry about it.
@@MonkeNations The problem with Screech is Meganium can use Curse once per opponent (4x) so it can easily get to +6 after a couple turns. Then when the shield goes up you can't use Screech again until it drops.
So at 6:11 you attacked with rage fist and took away a massive amount of damage... how did this happen with only two bulk ups????
Critical Hits ignore opponents defense boosts plus Rage Fist increases in power by 50 base power when you are hit by an attack, up to a max of 350.

There was a lot of things that benefitted you here, first zen headbutt missed, then it got paralysed and didnt attack, you had an intimidator plus feather dance, not sure if it will work always like Skeledirge
Skeledirge does not work for soloing even with Unaware
@AdamDawson3 I haven't tried it myself but seen videos from other KZheadrs using it and Soloing

It took me 150 attempts at soloing and couldn't do it its impossible the hardest ever 7 star raid

Based in it. I changed the strategy in the next way. I used Scope Lens. Annihilape 252 Atk and 252 Def. Then the strategy begin here. 1 Turn: Taunt 2 & 3 Turns: Rage First 4 Turn: Taunt 5 & 6 Turns: Rage First Is recomended that the others NPCs low the Meganium ATK characteristic. Meganium puts the shield. After Meganium puts itselve the shield, if you have enough life, then you should Terastallize else wait to die and when you return then Therastallize. (Zen Headbut doesn't make more damage than if you are Fight Pokémon) Then now you must use Bulk Up to make your ATK will be to +6 ( checkin your HP if it necessary you have to recuperate the HP ) Now 1 Focus Energy 1 Cheer up ATK Rage First to make K.O
