Ayman Mohyeldin On The Killing Of Journalist Shireen Abu Akleh

2022 ж. 10 Мам.

Ayman Mohyeldin remembers his friend and colleague, Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, who was killed today reporting on an Israeli military raid in the West Bank. “The killing of journalists, whether it’s in Mexico or Ukraine or the Occupied Palestinian Territories, that must be condemned and investigated - but not by the countries accused of allegedly killing them, but by independent bodies who claim to uphold free speech and the right to a free press as fundamental human rights.”

  • Remember the death of Rachel Corrie, an American whose death was dismissed by the Israeli court as being solely her own fault. Added to that injustice, Israeli soldiers actually hosted a "Rachel Corrie Pancake breakfast," mocking the brave young woman. The only reason why such atrocities committed by Israel are dismissed is because of the unconditional support so lavishly showered upon Uncle Sam's little pet by the USA.

She was a role model and a brave woman who risked her life to deliver her sacred message as a journalist. I pray those who killed her be punished, and I pray that God grants Shireens would eternal peace. SHAME on Israel, and SHAME on the US

    • I have many Jewish friend , and I like them all But mostly it’s not the people it’s the government that order the killing and making the policy even if we go back a few thousand year ago the king of Persia Cyrus allowed them to return to their promised land. The Jews praised the Persian emperor in scripture as a savior to whom God gave power over other kingdoms so that he would restore them to Jerusalem and allow them to rebuild their Temple. But unfortunately the government of Israel is evil 👿 we as people of the world should all put stop in them since our government can’t and won’t do that , our government might act like they going say something time to time when there evil act come out in the news some how !!! But they never can’t and would do anything to help the Palestinian people or any other people in the world that got destroyed because of the Israel evil government Politics , So it’s all up to each of us . Remember this is the same government who help killing Jesus and even didn’t listen to a word of what God ( Jesus ) said, and they still are agents ✝️ christianity & Jesus even today between each other when they are alone they not respect Jesus and they don’t believe in who he is or what he said they even making fun of Jesus when they are together, believe me I know. long with the sperite of Shireen Dawn with the Israel government !

  • I had the great pleasure of meeting Sherine twice in my career as a journalist. She was a genuinely nice and kind person. She was among the first female journalists to cover conflict zones for broadcast in the region and had an uncanny ability to pinpoint the story that should be told as opposed to the one everyone expects. She was fearless. God rest in her soul. Ayman, I’m genuinely sorry for your loss and thank you for giving others a glimpse of who she really was.

In the video in Arabic the shooter is admitting, in real time, to shooting a person who fell down. A muslim kills a Christian and Jews are blamed. Truth will prevail. Jews are the only indigenous natives living in their 3,000 year old ancestral land and arab colonialists who migrated to the region for economic gains (many from Bosnia per UN records) must learn to behave, as civilized people should

  • I am so sorry for your loss, Ayman. I'm not Palestinian. For a Puerto Rican, those who know me since childhood think I'm much too aware of the history of Israel and their cruelty not only to Palestinians, but anyone "armed" with a camera. I can't help it. My heart hurts for what humanity's experiencing. The camera and mic were Shireen's tools, not weapons, except to those in the Israeli government, who want to continue murdering and pillaging the Palestinian State. I didn't know her, only her news reports, but I actually wept when I heard the news. Once my tears subsided, I tweeted out a few reminders to Naftali Bennet, the Knesset, the IDF and Biden. Whatever good that does, I'm simply too angry to stay silent. Because I study the history of this region, am a member of BDS, and familiar enough with the Bible to know of the religious hypocrisy of God's "chosen people," who think they've the divine right to murder people (especially children) and steal from the Palestinian community, I think it's also evident the US is helpless to do anything about it. A greater power with more money and influence resides in Israel, the Rothschild family, which no one dares mention. I know a bit about their history, which extends over 225 years, but I digress. May Shireen RIP. As she laid on the ground, dying from her wounds, I'm sure God's arms were already there to embrace her.

    • First, the Jewish Semitic claim made by the Zionists in the name of contemporary Jews remains unsubstantiated according to scholarly findings in history, archaeology, linguistics, and genetics. Second, the Semitic claim is essentially used to justify the dispossession, displacement, and impersonation of the Palestinians by Jewish settlers in one of the most complex form of cultural identity theft. Third, even if contemporary Jews were actually “Semitic,” this will not justify their dispossession of the Palestinians who have nothing to do with any past or present, actual or alleged persecution of Jews in Europe or anywhere else in the world. Fourth, the Semitic claim did not solve the Jewish identity problem created by Zionism as the current genetic turn to a new racial science indicates. Fifth, the growing disillusionment with the Jewish Semitic claim could nurture cynicism or guilt among current and future Jewish generations. Hebrew University Professor of History Yehoshua Porath was quoted: “You can't build a cultural heritage on a lie. Because when young people discover the truth, they can become cynical” (Fletcher 1995, 16). Finally in light of the failure to prove the Semitic claim, researchers of the origins of contemporary Jews are now forced to think outside the old geographic box of Palestine and the older ethnic buzzword of the Israelites. *Sources* • "The original Jews" of the Arab background and the Palestinians are genetically almost identical was pulled from the leading journal Human Immunology. • Jews of non-Arabic background are found to be more closely related to The Kurds, Turks, and Armenians than to the Arabs. (Nebel et al 2001; Traubman 2001; The Jewish World: This Week in Israel 2001). Thier origin and the MASSIVE conversion of the Khazars to Judaism is documented by medieval and modern scholars here's few examples - Spector Ivar and Marion: Readings in Russian History and Culture. Halévy, Mayer A.:Le problème des Khazares. Extrait des Actes du IVe Congrès international des études byzantines (Bulletin de l'Institut archéologique bulgare, tome IX, 1935). - Ibn Fadlan and the Land of Darkness: Arab Travellers in the Far North. • Michael Bradley:Chosen People from the Caucasus: Jewish Origins, Delusions, Deceptions and Historical Role in the Slave Trade, Genocide and Cultural. - The History of the Jewish Khazars. By Douglas Morton Dunlop in 1954. (Princeton: Princeton University Press. 1954.)

  • Israeli mitary spokesman Ran Kachav said "They're armed with cameras". Israeli military view journalists reporting on their activity with Palestinians as a threat. Shireen Ablu Akleh shot in the head despite wearing a press marked flak jacket under a tree. Shot doing her job reporting on an Israeli raid on Palestinians investigating attacks on Israelis. Ali Samoudi, another Palestinian journalist, was shot in the back. Samoudi her producer said He the first shot missed them, then a second struck him, and a third killed Abu Akleh. He said there were no militants or other civilians in the area - only the reporters and the army. This should be investigated by third party investigators looking at eye witness accounts, trajectory and bullet.

  • It's hard to put in words how well-known she was. Shereen was a household name in the Arab World (Middle East & North Africa). Back in days when Al-Jazeera Arabic service did not had competition, and pioneered the Pan-Arab news model, it was the only channel to watch everything on, including the fast-moving developments in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The hay days of 2nd Intifada. Shereen was the face of the news. Her deep voice was the voice of the news. And she was much more than that. She was role model to female journalists/ correspondents in a time when very a few were there.
