When I saw Chucky playing video games, I laughed so hard. You don't casually see a legendary slasher villain playing video games with a child, this is so ridiculous.

i really love how chucky is written. im not 100% familiar with the character as i was really young when i watched the movies so all i remember was the killings and less of how he was characterized. but i really like how he's such a manipulative force to the point where at some points, I even feel convinced by him. He almost seems like a really cool person to talk to until he starts trying to convince you to kill someone.

Anyone would snap at physical and verbal abuse. Can't expect people to just take it in and be obedient, we'll run wild... eventually.

Above all 80s slashers, Chucky is the one who got to evolve and age very well no matter the setting. This and “Ash Vs Evil Dead” is how it’s done.

I don't think it was this Chucky that killed her. I think it was one of the other dolls.
This reminded me of palpatine grooming anakin to turn to the dark side throughout episode 3 of star wars, can't wait to see where this show goes next.
I hope it does go in the same direction as RoTS and turn Jake evil because honestly when I saw him hold up that knife it was so badass.
I know it's been 2 episodes but I'm here to say this is the best show of this year! Jake is such a cool main character and Chucky is just wild asf.
Chucky is strategising his prime kills since Cult , he's finally accepting Glen, the way he philosophes to Jake about murder and killing ablit bad and most likely for manipulation over Jake is very well written. The killer doll has definitely come a long way in experience then just from just chasing after people with a knife and stabbing them and yelling in frustration if they get away. This show has very good writing. Has Chucky become a magnificent basta$d? Notice Chucky has a philosophical conversation about killing and murder in the first to episodes. Chucky has plans for mulniplating Jake , that's for sure but he is obviously speaking about what he does with a passion. Old Chucky never did this before , this shows Chucky come long way in experience and its working for him.
He’s manipulative as hell. It seems like Caroline is a backup pawn.

It seems like all the best "insane-but-smart-murderer" characters are good at the whole "get-inside-your-head-and-see-what-makes-you-tick" thing. Chucky, Hannibal Lecter (can't believe they canceled that show), the Joker... those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head, but my point still stands.

Don Mancini, the creator, has said that Chucky is a bully here as well because he's manipulating Jake while presenting himself as his "best friend". Chucky is not Jake's friend nor protector, he's just trying to twist the kid.
