The Heartstopper Cast At Pride in London 🍂🌈 | Netflix
/ @stillwatchingnetflix
With exams, a school trip to Paris and prom on the horizon, Nick, Charlie and the gang must navigate the next stages of life, love and friendship.
heartstopper has seriously hit close to home for so many people. it’s the best comfort. i love how the cast is so respectful of fans. can’t wait for season 2! 🏳️🌈
It's my home, and my only closest thing to comfort
Agreed, and it speaks to every generation of LGBTQ+ who see some of their experiences mirrored in the series and who wish that the positive outcomes could have been experienced by them years and decades ago. My husband and I, both in our late 50s, teared up at Nick’s coming out to his Mum. When we were that age back in the early 1980s, that was NEVER an option, especially with the AIDS crisis erupting throughout the community. We both wish we could have experienced that same support as Nick and Charlie received from their families and we wish we’d both had a sister like Tori for sibling support. We never become immersed in entertainment programming to anything close to this degree, but Heartstopper touches a very raw nerve in both of us in a thoroughly positive way. Thank you!
@@JosephFerreiraJr i just love how touching the series is. thank u for sharing your experience cause there are definitely things that i should understand from the past, and also how different the support of things are today compared to nearly 30 years ago.
No it isn't
@@agoodflaw1200 if ur gonna hate then leave
The whole cast is wholesome. We look forward to see more of them in various projects.
2023 has been a trying year for us queer folks and we definitely need Heartstopper back on our screens, to uplift our hearts and remain optimistic during these dark times
Heartstopper is my comfort show when the world gets too dark. I just watch it again and again!
Stop calling gay people queer. thx
I honestly haven’t been paying attention to any news or drama or anything like that this whole year, can someone give me some updates or a summary of things thatve happened? (Specifically towards the lgbt community)
@@OwibiIn the U.S many red (conservative) states are attempting and being successful at either blocking bills that help the lgbtq+ community, enacting ones that HARM the lgbtq community, and this extends to many minority groups. Florida is probably the worst of it at the moment where they are attempting to imprison parents who allow their child to get gender affirming care :/ + so much more including the “don’t say gay” bill
Why what's been so hard for you
I really hope they continue to have a presence in London pride events long after the show concludes. They shouldn't be limited to promotion for a phenomenal TV series.
👏👏
I honestly don’t think they’re doing it JUST for promotion. Nearly (not all) the entire cast is LGBTQIA+, and Joe and Kit literally just turned 18 during/after filming season 1 so going to Pride (London particularly) was both personal and professional. But I get what you’re saying. It would suck if they were forced by studios to only participate to promote the show. But what I’ve seen on other TikTok an YT shorts… looks like they’re going primarily for themselves!!
@@galaxylucia1898 Yes exactly and also Joe and kit both are part of the community so I don't think they would be forced and other cast members do look happy so they must have enjoyed themselves
Love
I love that Yasmin is so loved in and out of the show. She also loves others so unconditionally. She is really my soul sister 🤍 Just showing positivity and love to others 🧚🏻💕✨
Hogs all the attention. No one cares about this person, who plays a minor character.
They way they are teasing us this year is just ridiculous 😭😍 12 days left and I’m starting to count the hours…..
FRRRR
2 days now, i’m rewatching season 1 so much 😭
ITS OUT NOW!!!
Heartstopper has really won so many hearts with its simplicity yet being so genuine in the ways it described and supported the people of the lgbtq+ community.
Season 3 please come early cant wait, i really fall in love with it 🏳🌈🫂
same here ❤
Isn't this where the cast showed middle fingers to anti-pride protesters?😂 Best thing I'd ever seen
Wasn't it last year??well it was the best thing anyways 😁
Yasmin is so charismatic on stage. She is amazing! She gonna be a big star in the future
she looks stunning, is taller than almost anyone else in the cast, counts down the numbers for the photoshoot and addresses the crowd at pride. plus can do all this all day long in these ridiculous high heel shoes, the mini skirt and that atrocious white shoulder gown made of chemical fabrics
I came out to my mom with the help of Nick’s coming out video! In India it’s a huge deal(she didn’t even know the term i was talking about) but Hindi translation in Netflix helped me 🇮🇳🏳️🌈
Good for you! How’d she react?
sweet! how did it go? (if you want to share) ❤
@@kaimikdelano6932 she got confused at first, then she said you watch content like this and that’s why your mentality has changed, but then i told her that i watched it because i was always like this, i am the one who chose to watch it because i saw myself there in that story and i felt recognised for the first time, later that night everything got normal, the next morning she was as she was before, don’t expect that our mothers will react like western moms, she accepted it and moved on☺️
@@Karansharmaheyitsme i'm glad it went well!!
so glad it helped and I'm so glad she accepted you as you are 🎉❤

The cast is amazing (Apologies in advance for the caring teacher praises/warning: please try to enjoy the phenomenal attention you are experiencing but also beware of the pitfalls of fame experienced by young successful actors before you - think the Harry Potter cast and all of their fame-induced pitfalls). Thank you for making the world just that much better a place for all of us!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Я тоже рыдала на этом моменте, как жаль что для некоторых людей даже сейчас рассказать родителям о себе это не вариант😢
How exactly does Heartstopper speak to every generation of + people?
@@jasonthewatchmansson8873 I have current and former students from the past 30+ years of teaching who have become ardent fans because they see the show as both representing their own hopes (supportive families and networks of friends and schoolmates) and real experiences (being outed against their will, coming out and all of the challenges that presented to them, the bullies - of course - ). The show presents more seemingly supportive staff in the show than they experienced in real life where there were only a handful of either out or allied staff to support them. Older LGBTQ+ friends and retired colleagues (the Stonewall generation) who thought the show was just for young people have binge-watched and started talking about their own journeys and how they wished they’d had a more welcoming environment, keeping in mind their reference point includes having LGBTQ+ seen back in the ‘70s and earlier as a mental disorder and even criminal behaviour and talk about how what they experienced made it possible for this representation to take place in mainstream media. It’s unique in that I can have the exact same type of conversation with a high school teenager as I can with an 80+ retiree about how the show effects them. That’s never happened in my experience to this degree…
@@JosephFerreiraJr I agree with you that Heartstopper is a great show for LGB people from all generations. I was asking you about your claim that the show "speaks to every generation" of + people.
I just binged season 2 and it's even better than the first one. Sweet, warm, innocent yet tantalizing. Just relatable and something to make you smile
Okay, this video will definitely be the best thing I see all day, it made me very happy. All the people in that cast, absolutely all of them, make me extremely happy. I'm so exited and I already long for it to be August 3. Please give us the trailer dear Netflix😁🍂 🙏❤️✨
THEY ARE ALL SO FREAKING STUNNING!!!!!
I don’t know how to explain it but heartstopper feels like home to me, like it’s my comfort show and i think i am not the only one in that case :) This how you can tell that they have achieved on doing something important, something with a true and powerful message that needs to be ear more often!
Heartstopper has literally become one of my favourite tv shows. Cannot wait for season 2 and to see more of the cast and the characters ❤
I can't get over how beautiful Yasmin is!! She seems soooo funny too. I really hope she gets more roles!! Want to see her act in everything.
Yes! She was great in Doctor Who too.
I love seeing more of Yaz! Beautiful cast and so proud as always ❤️🥰!
She's amazing ❤
At 2:13 with Kits panic with "uhh, what? Where?" I swear that would be me too if I was around that many people. In that brief moment watching him panic I felt so bad for him ❤
Thank you to Alice, the cast, and crew for such an amazing piece of art!! Sending you all so much love 💜💜
The whole cast is so sweet!!!!!
this is the cutest thing ever 😭
I adore this cast, only a little under two weeks until the new season premieres!
I can’t express how important Heartstopper has been to me to lift me out of the dark. It may get criticism for being “too idealistic” but I think we need a few shows like that to cut through the fog, to have something positive to aim for. Somewhere good to bring my mind back to
Yaz has the most beautiful aura, 19 and she'll be ruling the world already. That speech was beautiful, i love how Kit left her to it 😂
its awesome how this people give the same vibes as their characters, also, seeing them at Pride in London was SO inspirating... wow
This show is exactly what the world needed. It's so important to the queer community on so many leveles and I love that it is portrayed by this amazing human beings.
Seeing them genuinely fills my heart with glee and love 😭
I love how bash is so proud of his nails
@netflix pay your actors and writers fairly for their work while you’re bragging about their impact on the world. We’re gonna watch this show over and over and over and THEY DESERVE FAIR RESIDUAL PAYMENT!
This is a uk series so they don’t have the same payment trouble
Thank you Netflix for this lovely early surprise before season 2 actually comes out thank you for giving us this mini gift because honestly, we've been waiting for sooooooooo long 😊 I appreciate everything the Heartstopper cast does and Netflix too thank you ❤
The way those ambassadors play, it’s like they’re telling us we can be stars too, so inspiring! 🌟🏆
Yasmin Finley’s Beauty is Heart Stopping. She’s a star
Lovely to see so many of the cast reunited & having fun. ❤
The energy from the ambassadors is contagious, makes you wanna jump in and start earning points 😄👏
Can’t stop smiling whenever i see them❤
This fills my heart with so much warmth! Watching Heartstopper really cemented my sexuality after years of struggling and suppressing thoughts and feelings. I'm so grateful for the show and wonderful cast!
I’m straight and this show is so cute seeing the struggles of lgbtq I can feel what they go through when being who they are really great show it’s cute etc my fav show I’ve seen so far ngl 😭
I need some of Yaz’s confidence when speaking to a crowd. What an icon!
All of them ducking because the trailer started early is so adorable 🥰

I was so honoured to see them at pride - truly an experience I’ll never forget!
THE TRAILER!!! I NEED IT NOWWWW
I actually love Yasmin on stage! She is so present on stage and you can hardly ignore her. Thats what I love about her. But also the rest of the cast is just great and fantastic. I absolutely cant wait to bingewatch season 3.
I CANNOT WAIT. I ALWAYS MISS THE CAST EVERY TIME. NEXT PRIDE, IMMA SET UP A CAMP!!
Heartstopper is a great drama series that even those sceptical of the LGBTQ+ community can watch it. It's surprisingly subtle and not in your face sex nor HIV in me having seen many LGBT drama's over the years. This series is warm and cosy and acts as an introduction to the community it represents.
I haven't really seen a gay drama in which HIV is discussed
Netflix - if you cancel this show I will cancel my subscription permanently. 🏳️🌈 I love the inclusiveness of the show without feeling forced. As a queer person myself I relate to the show so much. It may seem a fantasy world that everyone in this show seems to be part of the community, but honestly when I came out and started immersing myself in the community all of a sudden you realize queer people are everywhere and it can feel like they are the majority and straight people are the minority. Also, I was completely unaware at the time but in my high school I was naturally drawn to certain people and didn’t know until later every single person in my closer circle were part of the queer community
LOL...the "Kit Connor Wear Sunscreen" sign is on point.
aww this is beautiful
I swear I love heartstopper and the cast so much, the show hit so close to home for me, it just makes me so happy. ❤❤
Absolutely love heartstopper and the cast!!! ❤
This looks like so much fun! Congrats on doing this! Also, I’m so glad to see this because my friend, Aba Amoah, was on the float, apparently 😭🥳🤩.
The Best show ever!
Loved it 😍
I don't think I'm ready for this next season😩, it's going to give me a heart attack, and I'm not even kidding haha it's too much for my heart aaahhh
Absolutely in love ❤ with every bit of word and act and stories. We all need Nick in our life, with calmness of Charlier, eccentric of Gao and Creativity of Elle, everything about it stops my heart. For me in a next life time, i will find my heartstopper
The whole cast is so genuine and nice I wish there was more heartstopper related TV shows I love heartstopper and I love the cast go and yay heartstopper
they’re all so adorable 😭😭😭
I can’t wait for s2😭 it’s gonna be so sad but I need it. I love them all sm and I can’t wait
I swear, I cried so hard watching the trailer, but on the other hand, I'm so fucking hyped
Loved it ❤😍❤
Omg they are so beautiful😭❤️
I feel like I’m there watching this and it fills my heart with joy
I have watched the trailer for season 2 so many times and I only now just realised charlie has a hickey on his neck. Nick needs to calm down😂
I love them all so much😭 Like a big sister, like Tori. I just want to protect them
The adrenaline from that video, man, street cricket to the big leagues, 4rabat knows how to do it! 🏏🌆
Wow so cool wish I was there😢😊, also slay in the outfits
"Kit Connor wear sunscreen" XD That must be the most original sign at pride I've seen so far XD
Full support to you guys🤸🤸🤸🤸
william looks so good with his new hairstyle 😭
This is so sweet
This is going to be EPIC!!!!
m getting a little misty eyed watching this. I love this show and the beautiful cast and what it represents.
Who wants season 3 👇
I just watched the season two trailer and it is AMAAAAAZING
I am so happy about the new season ❤
I watch this show on repeat all the time
This is so unfair!! I was in London during the pride parade, but didn’t go, because of the crowds. I SHOULD HAVE WENT!! I am literally crying! 😢
Can't wait for season 2 we have waited to long can't wait only 6 more days till we get our heart stopped ❤
Welcoming the pure enjoyment of being who you are and where you are, accepted, embraced and free
