You can get your goalkeeper to distribute to the half back pal. Just above the pitch where you pick where you distribute to there is a drop down menu where it says area/player. Hope this helps mate.
ah yes! thank you! i might pin this comment for others to see
@@fmscout i never even knew that existed.
In this case. distribute to Playmaker would also work instead of centerbacks. Since the halfback has playmaking duties, he will drop back and collect the ball from the GK.
i dont mean to be so offtopic but does any of you know a trick to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot the password. I would love any tips you can offer me.
@Ray Zayd instablaster ;)
RDF, would love to see a video recreating Ranieri's Leicester tactic. There's so many interesting roles in it, Kante and Drinkwater's roles in midfield, Mahrez and Vardy. And probably the most interesting to recreate in this game - Okazaki. A striker who drops into the hole purely for workrate and link up and not really for creating and scoring.
Thankyou, excited to give this a try
Nice one RDF, specially with sensible tempo and positive mentality !
I would like to see Arsene’s 442 undefeated season great videos btw you’ve made some banger videos
Are you going to upload your saves? Would like to look at stats and such between tactics. Keep up the good work!
Fantastic video. Not tried the tactic yet but I love the presentation. The explanations as to why you do something is golden. I'm not a big tactic downloader instead prefering to understand why someone has done something. Quick question: Will you adjust mentality based on who you're playing? ie this is positive. But when you played Liverpool did you lower it to standard or cautious?
Love this one! Could you mix this as an alternate tactic with the Cruyff one you did..? As they’re pretty similar.
As always. Amazing video rdf. Do a Sarriball tactic please:)
Muy bueno saludos desde argentina
Great video as always, maybe you could do a Leicester 15/16 league winners tactic
Was looking for a good Bielsa tactic last week and didn‘t found a good option. Quite excited to try this out
Good luck!
RDF!!!!
You can get the wing back to play wide and come inside if you use IWBs with overlap instruction
What about hansi flick's bayern? They are playing smashing football just love watching them
If i were to be a football manager irl.. I'll approach to sign you as a data analyst.. when negotiating i'll take whatever salary you want triple that number and I will hit suggest you'll accept.. and walaaa.. I can live happily after. ;P
haha thank you for such a nice comment!
Finally a tactic with positive mentality and reasonible tempo.
haha only two duties are on Attack too. we have 4 on Defend, 4 on Support and 2 on Attack. tried to find a mix between balance and flexibility
Do a part 2 in the premier League but with the same squad
But then he wouldn't be able to dominate the league! I agree, though. It would be nice to see average teams instead of dominant ones.
03:36. Are you sure they're not ASKED? Are you sure it's AKSED? 😂😂
Awesome work :) Could you do a tactic of Manchester Uniteds 2007/2008 PL and CHL winning team?? :)
I use Leeds United as my team on FM. So great in Pre Season (including 4-1 against Boca Juniors) but when the season start it's hard to maintain the trends... any sugestion?
What about Valery Lobanovskiy tactics of USSR 1986, 1988 and Dinamo Kiev 1986, 1997/98?
gd tactic! waiting for pep mancity n erik ten hag
This tactic is amazing ive started a new save and I'm top of the championship PLD 37 W34 D3 GF82 GA13 👏 I would like to know tho what kind of training would you make or reccomend for game weeks when you have no matchs and training for preseason. Again thanks very much i carnt reccomend this tactic enough
Thought about doing the Tony Pulis Tactic that got Stoke promoted from the Championship? saying that a defensive tactic doesn't seem to do that well on FM20 from what i've been seeing..
well, don't listen to those claims haha. The high press is favoured, yes, but that's how football is going too. Pretty much all the successful teams press urgently. That's not to say other tactics doesn't work...But a Pulis video may be on the cards haha
@@fmscout i'm a big stoke fan so a Tony Pulis tactic would be awesome, i'm yet to start a save with Stoke, i'm just unsure how to setup the database with scouting talent from other regions haha :P
As a Leeds can I can't thank you enough for this, great content once again
Very welcome! Very unlucky last season, very good this season but upset Bielsa failed to use Nketiah more often instead of that Bamford! haha (I'm a Arsenal fan)
@@fmscout yeah got a few friends who are Arsenal fans and gutted we didn't use him more, anyone but Bamford, hope Augustin gets a chance
Is only right center back with Stay Wider instruction or both? Cheers
What would u do for lower league teams as they don't have a complete forward
How is the shffield utd tactic going?
Hey can u show squad for this tactics? :)
Please could you do a Kevin Keegan newcastle entertainers tactic
Nice one! Can you please get Nuno Espirito Santo at Wolves and Jorge Jesus at Flamengo ...
follow me on twitter...i'm in the middle of recreating a Jorge Jesus tactic now! @RDFTactics
Not done with the video yet, but I see four tactics in the save file. Hopefully you explain what each is for in the video?
There's two tactics and two training schedules. The tactics to use is explained in the video, they are the same but one with Lower Line of Engagement and Lower Tempo is to use against extremely defensive sides
Can You do a Sheffield United overlapping CB. please
I like the way you have set this up, but I feel like you've missed a key component - an Enganche, a Bielsa staple. I found some success using a similar shape, but instead of two midfielders level, i pushed the Left sided CM up into the Left CAM spot to play as an Enganche, it looks a little lop sided on paper, but on the pitch it lines up as a 4-1-4-1 because of how deep the enganche comes, but transitions into more of a 3-3-1-3, Bielsa style.
Thanks for the feedback! yeah i agree, even with the wing backs, i think inverted wing backs would be more accurate but it seemed to take away any width even with the wingers having Stay Wider in PI. Enganche on FM does nothing for me lol i like their movement but ineffective in play. Of course, if you can find the right system around it, it may be good but i didn't even try it because of previous experiences with it haha maybe i can try it when attempting his Chile tactic
@@fmscout yeah true, it's hard to balance. In reality IWB definitely would he the most bielsa thing, but it just doesn't seem to work as you would expect. I've found CWBs do drift inside enough to be Bielsa-ish, but don't completely ruin the width of your formation xD Enhance is definitely a weird one in FM20, I think it doesn't help that 4-2-2 and gegenpressing seem to be the meta things this year, and neither of those fit with an Enganche.
@@fmscout In Leeds the Enganche really wasn't what he implements it's more of a traditional 4-1.1. Really in his Chile formation is where he went stronger with the 3-3-1-3, and his DM actually was a BWM/Anchor type role that cleaned everything up with IWB that linked up with at Enganche, which is really more of a classic AP (mostly because of their movements). And if we go more in depth, Bielsa used wingers insted of IW - but FM's roles aren't in depth enough to really emulate the movements Bielsa asked of his players out wide.
@Javier Ramírez yeah it's all about compromising lol when you start trying to get the exact same thing is when it actually starts going wrong, partly because of the limitations. Signing players with correct player traits or training the traits can help a lot. So if i had a LB who likes to cut inside with the ball playing as a wing back, that could give you closer player movements to what Bielsa uses.
@@fmscout agreed, player traits are wildly underestimated. I still think pushing one of the CMs up into an asymmetric Enganche would be a thing worth trying. I've used it at both Leeds and Newcastle, I was just aiming to replicate Bielsa at Leeds but it actually produced much better results than I anticipated
would you use these training schedules over your original ones?
These schedules are to just to add some realism to it. For developing and player happiness, i would still use my original ones
@@fmscout ok thanks!

Ain’t that song from Your Turn to Die
I get what you mean when you’ve said you can’t completely copy a real life tactic but I would just say because Idk if you know it or not. That third midfielder which is the most forward one is usually the enganche, the hook, between the midfield and attack and often doesn’t do as much defensive work in marcelos 3-3-1-3
You should do Jorge Jesus!!

Recreate wilder overlaping cb's tactic
i was in the middle of doing that, still needs a LOT of work but at least have the CBs moving forward haha
@@fmscoutgreat, love these tactic recreation videos btw. Too bad they don't work for the team i'm curently trying to take to chmapions league final tho
My Regista tactic works very well in Europe...maybe because "stay on feet" and the not "extremely urgent" pressing...i find games in Europe are a little more controlled
@@fmscout i tried that tactic in a friendly with my U19 squad and lost 4-0 then i changed it to the 4141 overachieving tactic and got to the quarter final of europa. That team has been predicted to get only to the group stage so i guess it works :)
please make a vedio on ram rekha tactic
Why? Is it special?
It has a strange name
@@TheRober82 ya bro it worked wonders
To open at the back
so are 99% of fm tactics just 4-1-2-3?
Nope lol
Am I the only person who thought that RDF's voice was really annoying at the start, but now sounds familiar?
Haha its grows on you ;) but my speech is something I'm working on
Brazil 2002 please
mmm the game not emulate the referee giff xD
Wouldn’t Beisla be tika taka
cant you make the role a half back but give him player instructions like a deep lying playmaker?
Bielsa not succesful but alot of his principal is used by another manager
