There's a fan theory that because the main universe's Mark Grayson got his powers so late compared to other Viltrumites & his other versions, he didn't spend years being trained by Omni-Man to follow Viltrumite customs & support their Empire taking over the Earth compared to all of the other Mark Graysons from other universes, hence why they lacked the empathy for humanity our Mark Grayson has.
That's part of my theory as well, since the good Mark is so rare or even singular, so much variables must be exactly right in order for it to happen. I think his late power was one of it too.

THE FIGHT WITH THE BLACK GUY IN THIS SEASON FINALE WAS THE DUMBEST MOST ILLOGICAL THING EVER. NEXT SEASON BETTER MAKE IT MAKE SENSE OR BE GOOD ENOUGH TO MAKE UP FOR THAT CRAP. OTHERWISE I'M GONNA START BELIEVING THIS SHOW IS RACIST.

This season was pretty awful. The first season had problems too but they just take over the 2nd season.
