Some of the lines of the car were altered as well as the front end is much rounder than the actual car but aside from that and the added lights it's pretty close to the real car.

yeah the first car dlc where so different to them real counter parts, just comparing the zentorno and sesto elemento you see a lot of differences, passing the years and dlc the cars started getting closer to the real lifes ones :)

Fun fact, a garage in America actually did a Mustang with 5 lights on the rear to each side. I think it was 6 inches wider than the 60s counterpart before they widebody'd it so easily 10 inches wider. 🤣

I use this car for racing and let me tell you, I get top 3 every time. This car has really good handling and speed. I don't regret spending over $1,700,000 lol. I'm surprised I don't see many people running this car. Mostly GTA5 players are into JDM

Today I played pursuit race to complete daily objectives and I took the ‘mustang’ just for fun while everyone else had jdms supras etc I wasn’t taking the race seriously to get 1st place I only wanted to complete the race to earn the daily objective and I was shocked I won at first place 🥇 like even the other guys were impressed

I remember doing a pursuit race with this car while everyone else had the calico and the annis zr350 I wanted to test drive it in the race to see how it handles and I was quite surprised how good it handled I managed to place 1st, a player though I was cheating 🙃

quick tip: if you use a matte black secondary, it does make the spoiler a bit more plastic like. its not a perfect fix, but it hides the livery stripes a lot better then metallic or classic colors

I bought this and I *love* it, it's so amazing. btw, we really have the same taste in cars, my mustang looks almost identical to yours, only a few differences. I do have a tip, if you want the rear wing to not be carbon, select secondary color for the front splitter, louvers and wing, then choose matte black as secondary. You can barely see the stripes on the louver and wing, only if you look from the top and even then it's barely visible

There is a real life car shop called Gotham Garage, they once got an old run down 1969 Mach 1 Mustang that had no interior left at all and they fixed the whole thing up. One thing in particular they did was widen the back part of the mustang and gave the back bigger wheels also they added 2 extra tail lights on each side making it have 5 on each side equaling 10. I think this dominator might be referencing that.

This is my favorite car in the update so far. I mean, it drives like a dream. I'm a day one player and I had finally found the car that I click with in performance. Hell, I'd rather drive this over all of the other cars I own. To be honest though, I can't wait for the Dominator ASP because I'm a 90's kid (born in the 80's) and the Mustangs from that era are the ones that I identify with the most when I think Mustang.

I agree with you. the stock fenders 100% while the wide fender look is a nice aggressive style, when you put them on, you ruin that legendary shape and look this car is known for. original seats, original steering wheel.. this is the car to keep it super tame and you nailed it. good content for each vehicle, enjoying this the most of every update..

This is my favorite car in the game by far. I'm a sucker for OG mustangs and Rockstar really outdid themselves with how faithful they've been with the design.

Some of the lines of the car were altered as well as the front end is much rounder than the actual car but aside from that and the added lights it's pretty close to the real car.

yeah the first car dlc where so different to them real counter parts, just comparing the zentorno and sesto elemento you see a lot of differences, passing the years and dlc the cars started getting closer to the real lifes ones :)

John wicks car is a 1969 boss 429 which is also my favourite car, the Ellie is based off of the Eleanor which was in a movie in the sixties

also on that 'realistic' comment he made, then he proceeds to turbo it and max everything.
You have really good taste in cars, unlike many other “car guys” in GTA.

Fun fact, a garage in America actually did a Mustang with 5 lights on the rear to each side. I think it was 6 inches wider than the 60s counterpart before they widebody'd it so easily 10 inches wider. 🤣

I use this car for racing and let me tell you, I get top 3 every time. This car has really good handling and speed. I don't regret spending over $1,700,000 lol. I'm surprised I don't see many people running this car. Mostly GTA5 players are into JDM
Today I played pursuit race to complete daily objectives and I took the ‘mustang’ just for fun while everyone else had jdms supras etc I wasn’t taking the race seriously to get 1st place I only wanted to complete the race to earn the daily objective and I was shocked I won at first place 🥇 like even the other guys were impressed

I remember doing a pursuit race with this car while everyone else had the calico and the annis zr350 I wanted to test drive it in the race to see how it handles and I was quite surprised how good it handled I managed to place 1st, a player though I was cheating 🙃

My grandpa owns a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 and when this was announced, i came my pants. Its by far my favorite car in the game (once the other dominator comes out since it is my irl car lol)

Bro you have been the only viable source for the newer GTA cars. Also Whipple or Magnuson make superchargers with the side pully set up. saves space and is easier to centralize the air coming in. Fun fact aside thanks for doing what you are doing broski!

This is a great car I am very excited for this car arriving in the game you have very good taste
quick tip: if you use a matte black secondary, it does make the spoiler a bit more plastic like. its not a perfect fix, but it hides the livery stripes a lot better then metallic or classic colors
I personally love the 70s Street Machine paint. That was cool when this car would have been new! Also, the interior is from the Gauntlet Classic

The supercharger with the belt in back going to a sort of driveshaft routing to the pullies in front is weeeeeeeeird! I have never seen that before but I am intrigued.
As a fan of the real OG muscle cars, I'm glad they made this good enough to be competitive with the new cars in that class. At the same time feel sad they didn't give something like a little extended ducktail option :( P.S. The only car in the update I'll get at full price.

I bought this and I *love* it, it's so amazing. btw, we really have the same taste in cars, my mustang looks almost identical to yours, only a few differences. I do have a tip, if you want the rear wing to not be carbon, select secondary color for the front splitter, louvers and wing, then choose matte black as secondary. You can barely see the stripes on the louver and wing, only if you look from the top and even then it's barely visible

By far my favorite car out of the DLC so far, I’m a muscle car lover, when I heard this car was gonna be added it went to the top of my list.
They also have a fourth generation New Edge Mustang that will drop soon.

I just realized how the Vapid Blade(Ford Falcon) also has 5 taillights. So while for R* it may just be to primarily avoid licensing, maybe it's to keep continuity with the Blade? Just a thought

I made a Mach 1 build with the GTT and it looks phenomenal, the performance isn’t bad either!
There is a real life car shop called Gotham Garage, they once got an old run down 1969 Mach 1 Mustang that had no interior left at all and they fixed the whole thing up. One thing in particular they did was widen the back part of the mustang and gave the back bigger wheels also they added 2 extra tail lights on each side making it have 5 on each side equaling 10. I think this dominator might be referencing that.

This is my favorite car in the update so far. I mean, it drives like a dream. I'm a day one player and I had finally found the car that I click with in performance. Hell, I'd rather drive this over all of the other cars I own. To be honest though, I can't wait for the Dominator ASP because I'm a 90's kid (born in the 80's) and the Mustangs from that era are the ones that I identify with the most when I think Mustang.

@@artemis3829 I agree. I have the Remus and the calico but the calico’s awd ruins the experience for me. The Remus is the best of the new cars. It was the second car I bought and fell in love with the drifting with the slick tires.

If you have the low grip tires, lower stance, and slam the Warrener UTE, you get a truck car that can only drift. Make with that as you will.

I agree with you. the stock fenders 100% while the wide fender look is a nice aggressive style, when you put them on, you ruin that legendary shape and look this car is known for. original seats, original steering wheel.. this is the car to keep it super tame and you nailed it. good content for each vehicle, enjoying this the most of every update..
