  • What'd you think of this one? Have you watched his new channel Making McGuffins? Watch it here www.youtube.com/@MakingMcGuffins

    • Met him in 2016 at The Spring Fling in Palm Springs and watched his play when I was new. Been hooked on PB and a fan of Tyson ever since. No one even comes close to what he's done and the impact it's made to this sport. Despite some of hate that has come his way, I'm still a fan. He's the total package. #LEGEND CLEAN N SOBER

  • "Jimmy and Tyler, who are, like, my best friends". Ya, right. Despite that comment, this was probably the best interview of McGuff that I've seen. Thanks B.

  • Great video! You made me look up the sketchers shoes and his other KZhead channel. But I’m still waiting for the vuori store to open up in Long Beach so I can see why you rave about them so much.

    • Thank you! I just picked up the Skechers Viper Court Pros while I was in Houston for the PPA, I like them a lot, definitely a wider toe box. Nike's are just too narrow for me. Yeah, when it opens up, let me know what you think about Vuori!

  • Wonder how long a player can sustain their brand if they don't perform consistently at the top level. Singles is overtaken by incoming young tennis players and results in doubles seem to be slowly slipping away... Hasn't yet performed at the peak for long enough for people to remember the player for long other than the old guard.

    • Yeah that’s a good point. I think social media helps, a lot, and he’s getting ahead of it. Lots of retired athletes still remaining relevant through various social media mediums. I think it shifts from athlete to whatever else he considers himself now, could be teacher, coach, dad, KZhead personality, podcast host, etc. individuals like him just have to keep finding ways to reinvent themselves. It’s such an interesting topic.

    • I don't know if anyone else caught his comment about his property and the regiment. I could see him easily, becoming a place where up-and-coming pros come to heavily train. I would not be surprised if that becomes a focus of his over the next years. He's got the branding, he's got the game, IQ, and he's got training camps. as he gets older, it's gonna be harder and harder to compete with these young up-and-coming pros, but he is certainly in the proper shape to train them for quite some time. Just my opinion, and after watching this really well done, interview added up with the other information I've gathered from his podcast. It just feels like a really natural transition. All that being said, awesome content, and you got yourself a subscriber.

  • I do not like to make negative comments on individuals BUT Tyson does not seem like a good person. So many players will no longer play with him. Very arrogant.

    • What an ignorant comment. I’ve known Tyson for years and I’ve known his partners. This couldn’t be farther from the truth… I bet all you do is make negative comments. Don’t pretend to be someone you’re not.
