7:34 Flintoff how dare you retire in a series where you can still bowl at 153kmph. Respect.
That's his wish
Yes ..that's some serious pace
That's because he did not have the disapline
Yaa now a days even young fast bowler cannot bowl at 145 And you at the age of retirement bowled at 153!!! With you retiring the pack of the best fast bowlers of year era also ended
@@ekgcanadianenthusiast9961 no it's because his knee went
How good was Swann in this test match. England's best ever off-spinner in my opinion and this was probably my favourite all round England bowling attack.
Swann and giles both
Moeen as well
Flintoff before just retirement this series what continue 145+150+
An absolute pleasure to watch this classic back from 2009!

Flintoff my favourite all-rounder. Good to see Stokes taking his position.
Stokes no doubt is great batsman and fielder.. but u can't compare his bowling with Flintoff's bowling
@@sahilsrivastava1619 Stokes isn't really relied on as much as Flintoff though. If Stokes was asked to bowl 20 overs each innings I dare say he'd be taking 3 wickets a match. Because he's now become the best batsman in the team he doesn't have as much energy to bowl as he did 3-4 years ago
@@sahilsrivastava1619 But his batting covers it all
But Rember That Six Sixes🤣🤣😂😂
No doubt that Stokes is good allrounder.....bt one think whos flintoff never compare with Stokes nd that was edgbastn test 2008 his yorker against kallis...🤣🤣
14:22" fifty test wickets for Stuart broad" who would've thought 11 years later this guy will have more than 500 hundred test wickets
@Arshjeet Singh just like ashwin most wickets in india
@Arshjeet Singh "hometrack bully" when he has wickets of plenty in australia and india...jog on mate, u just dont like how u cant find a pacer as good as him 😂
@Arshjeet Singh how is taking 500 wickets not a big deal? Even if conditions are in your favor it’s difficult enough to get one. He has also been part of the England team that went to number one in the world and taken 5 for in Australia
@Arshjeet Singh I know he isn’t as good away but you are acting as though getting 500 test wickets is easy
Yeah must be the worst bowler by a distance to have such a record
14:33 that cover drive,man !!! Love it 😍
A Corona Lockdown night made special by this peach of a game... I owe so much to Lord's and England board's KZhead channels...
Same my man. Ashes have never been the same since the noughties.
Ma
7:38 woah it's 153.0kph.. Dear flintoff are you kidding me 😲😍😍😍😍❤❤❤
It's easy to forget he could bowl faster than 90mph.
Alfred Johnson did it consistently as well. proper proper pace bowler
He didn't do it with the white ball though, I've always had a feeling that he held himself back in ODIs
@@fcfcfcfc7813 And he still looked like t'bloke from t'pub while doing it! Old-fashioned brilliance, is that!
Nice thing at 18:22. last wkt falls and Flintoff is - getting a ittle hug from umplre Billy.
i still remember this test match like it just happened yesterday,While Growing as a kid Flintoff was my favorite All rounder,i used to copy his bowling action.,,, Good times

Flintoff bowling faster than 90mph off the physio's bench. Massive, massive respect!
Flintoff was a perfect all rounder bowls at 150+ & can bat as well.
5:52 that sad face of Philip Hughes
I can watch his wickets again and again and again and still won't get bored. What an amazing all-rounder he was. Kudos!
Freddie to Hussey in the 1st inngs was a true beaut ..95mph Andrew Strauss is an underrated cricketer.. good batsman and great captain!
Sir Andrew Strauss has got the knighthood
@@samirpaul3909 True.. But I was talking about the cricket fraternity
@@samirpaul3909 So what!
Flintoff the most dangerous all-rounder of all time. England can never produce another player like him. My favorite player in England. Anderson, Broad and Flintoff in the team was insurance.
Andrew Flintoff is a Nightmare for Aussies ...Such a great all-rounder .. 👌👌👌
Now Ben stokes
3:30 Absolute beauty from Johnson
Flintoff realy a great all rounder .

@@pravinadbole5710 Stoke's no not on the same level as Freddie
@@bright9187 he is as much as the oldies won't like to admit it
@@thegingerbread2241 he's better with the bat but he's not as good with the ball. I'd rather have Freddie in the team.
@@bright9187 You wouldn’t let’s be honest. If you wanted someone to Bat or Bowl for your life, I’m picking Stokes for both. Under pressure he is ridiculously good, arguably the best of all time. Yes. I stand by that.

Genuine quick pacers in this series. Every bowler from both sides were bowling close to 90 MPH. Also they were very erratic, wayward. Flintoff was bowling close to 95 MPH 😶.

Something about that background music in the beginning makes it really happy, time really flies just as it is now with the pandemic. As I get bored of my routine I distract myself with soccer, cricket and tennis
Finally I see hughes
Jeez, Flintoff bowled like lightning in this game.
First victory vs Australia since 1934 at lords 😱😱 its unbelievable
18:20 wow Flintoff

Beautiful Highlight
My best Andrew Flintoof enjoy his Ashes 2005 the most
That 1st-innings wicket of Ponting - he wasn't happy because he thought he hadn't edged it, whereas Koertzen thought he had, and gave him out caught. However Koertzen later explained that the assumption of an edge was already giving him the benefit of the doubt on the LBW shout, and if he didn't edge it, he was bang in front, so either way he had to go, the only way he could be not out was if he edged it and it didn't carry.
Andrew Flintoff was a genuine match winner!
An absolute game-changer......

Flint off 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
GREAT Work Sir
Look at the bowling speed off Andrew Flintoff
I remember before this match Australia was not beaten by england at lords for long time.
I think McGrath had a lot to do with that. He bowled really well with the slope at Lords.
@@MegaBuzzify They said in the commentary that it was England's first win there against Australia since 1937, so it's more than just McGrath.
@@handsolo1209 1934. In the days of uncovered wickets, the very fine Yorkshire left-arm spinner Hedley Verity caught Australia on a sticky and took 15 wickets across two innings (obviously...). Australia were very close to saving the follow-on and had they managed it they had two legendary spinners in their own line-up. Verity had a county match for Yorkshire just before the war in which he took 10 for 10 against Nottinghamshire. Nine straight maidens before lunch, and then a flurry of wickets after as the rain-affected wicket dried out.
@@CaptainPedant It makes Bradman's stats even more impressive playing on those kind of pitches. Regarding Verity, it is very tragic how he died in the war and never got to play in the follwing years with TV, more footage, etc.
How does Clarke get out to THAT ball, after such a great knock?
What about that ball from Swann for the final wicket, 67.9mph!
Flintoff is superstar..
It's a wonder that Johnson finished with as many wickets as he did- he was so ordinary in this period before he was dropped in 2012(?), before his 2013 Ashes resurgence.
Clarkes inning was a worthwatching
Flintoff is one of those captivating cricketers who draws me to his style. He is like the Ian Botham of the 80s. Andrew has a fire in his eyes that is just punctuating.
“They lost the 2005 ashes because they picked some bloke called Katich.....”- Nasser Hussain
Lol .. They lost the match simply, because McGrath injured himself before match... Hadn't he injured, Then, the series wud have been 5 - 0 Australia winning..
@@TonyStark-ir2vk yeah that and umpiring shockers against Australia throughout the series. If DRS was around then....
