I do this with football, I have a group of friends that'll give me their limit for the week and I'll bet it alongside my bets and they give me 10% of what they make. Edit: just saw the new yard podcast. For the last month he's been stringing Ludwig along and "winning" for him but never cashed out and once Lud won a bet that was suppose to pay out 125k the guy ghosted Lud. I do still stand by bookie sports agents are a thing but this guy sadly was either a ponzee schemer and was going to pay lud small winnings until Lud gave him a big deposit or just a common thief. People like that genuinely suck.

    • @@xeonbladev18 Less risk. They get to gamble with essentially "free" money. If they bet and you lose, oh well, they take no loss. If they bet and win, they get a nice paycheck and an almost guaranteed return customer. You're gonna go back to the guy who won you so much money, after all. If you manage to get a bunch of customers you can pull a very shady move to guarantee money. If you have 9-10 people, and you use their funds to bet every way on a race, and take a commission from the winners, you're guaranteed to make money. Generally if you're charismatic enough you can convince the losers to stick around and reinvest, and the winners will do the same. You just keep skimming 10% off every race you bet on, sometimes more if it's one where you can win multiple ways. Rotate the winners and losers to keep everyone happy as best you can, and keep picking up new clients. It's hard work to keep everyone happy, but it's essentially free and guaranteed money. Just gotta be a people person, and be willing to sell a small bit of your morality.

    @tcsprynce5748@tcsprynce57482 жыл бұрын
    • It is quite literally the rich getting richer. It's strategic so that the poorer people can never win enough to get to the better odds where they can win real money. The one thing that casinos love more than anything is a class gap, because people in Vegas get desperate to escape average society, and they gamble, gamble, and gamble, always trying to chase a high, trying to reach back to even, and after they break even, they feel cheated, so they keep going, and funneling money back to the casino. • This actually works at any casino. So outside of Vegas the rates are ALOT smaller. In Cherokee NC I can call and say imma gamble at least 500 and they’ll comp the room and take the 500 when I get there and give me credit to gamble with. Last time I ended up winning 600. So gained 100 and got to have some fun.

  • I worked as a casino surviellance agent in Vegas and I am shocked you weren't backed off when being told what to do each hand. Also, I kind of assumed everyone knew about high roller rooms having better odds even the slot machines have "better odds"(not by much). On a final note I've never heard of a single person being barred for doing well at sports betting, there is 100% something missing from that story of his.

    @ZerglingPack@ZerglingPack2 жыл бұрын
    • People 100% can get barred for sports better, it's rare but it happens if they have an edge and make a lot of money.

    • @@olliert4840 The only people I remember being banned from sports betting areas are people taking losing tickets to make false tax lose claims and scammers. Not saying it's impossible though, I'll have to ask my one of my old directors, maybe it just didn't happen at the casinos I worked it.
