  • Hi Dr. Grutter, What do you use to take dental impression of your patient, and how does it cost per patient? Thank you for your amazing content!

  • Hi Dr. G, first i would like to thank you for your videos, they are very helpful for who is thinking to beginin the cad/cam dentistry... Witch material do you use to make the buttons in the patients teeth? normal composite? bulkfill? tkx!!

    @TheBocaboy@TheBocaboy5 жыл бұрын
    • Yep. Normal composite. One assistant likes Flowable (G-Anial) and the other likes traditional packable (Filtek).

  • Hi, Thanks for the video it is very illustrative. I am about to begin to fabricate my own aligners and the last thing I need to buy is the pressure machine. Do you still using the ministar and Essix? what do you think about the Splint Biocryl 1mm? Thanks a lot.

  • i hope you see this comment...I dont know if you check the comments for these older videos. I know you use the Essix ACE 040- for aligners, but what tray material do you use for bleaching trays and clear retainers? thanks for your videos!!

    @srbraith1@srbraith12 жыл бұрын
    • I actually now use Zendura FLX 0.76 for Aligners and Zendura A 1.00 for retainers. For bleaching trays, I'm not sure and not really partial to any specific company. Probably just the cheapest since it's not a particularly demanding use.

    • @@bgrutterdds thanks for your response. Do you use a different tray material for the template button placement appointment? We just started using our SprintRay and bought the Biostar tray former. Excited for all of this. I think you are up in Ogden if I remember correctly? I’m here in Utah County.

      @srbraith1@srbraith12 жыл бұрын
    • Nope. I'm in Grand Rapids. Was in Kansas City before last October. We're using a thinner, cheaper template material for the buttons. Just started recently to keep from wasting an FLX sheet on them. Honestly don't know what it is, but it's cheap and from Zendura.

    • @@bgrutterdds lol..man...pretty expensive..over $4.00 a sheet. reason why you switched?

      @srbraith1@srbraith12 жыл бұрын
    • I was able to switch from Bi-weekly to Monthly in the software. That's twice the movement per tray. So, half as many sheets AND half as much labor. Half the treatment time, too. But that's just icing in the cake. In the end, it's probably break even or better. Plus, tracking has been awesome and patient comfort is that much better. I was reluctant at first. But now zero regrets.
