The cars are generally balanced for spec racing, certain cars have advantages on certain tracks. Ex. Touring: the audi is great on hakone, the gti on sazuka. Medium races requires a pit stop. Short races do not. Use one lap of extra fuel for races, although not always needed, I did use all my fuel on one race and couldn't finish. If the weather is nice, use softs for qualifying. Spotlight series you can level up your car to 50, even offline, to give an advantage over lower level cars.
So you cannot race the car you actually own and built on multiplayer in this game????
@@baronnashor158 you can, but not in spec racing category, in the spec racing category you have a curated list of cars that are somewhat evenly matched. If you want to race a car you level up and tune yourself, you would join the open racing events.
@@baronnashor158 also you can own the spec series events cars and level them up for other multiplayer events or single player.
I really like that the practice time kinda forces me to take a break between each race. I always end up getting super into the game and do races back to back to back and end up with a sore back and/or hands
Nice video. Forza yet again showing its strengths and making the game more appealing to car enthusiasts by having to spend time with your vehicle and grow with it and yet accessible to those who dont have time to play 24/7.
This is the perfect assessment. I'm not into cars but wanted to check out a racing game. It's approachable for beginners and has enough depth for knowledgeable people to have fun.
How do I use my own vehicle though? Why the restrictions I can’t find a single race that will let me use my car
@@REVOLUTIONS-EDGE Sounds like your clicking on spec races. Open races should allow you to use your own car, as long as you have a car in that class. Super late response but I figured I throw it out there anyways.
Pretty sure the cars are homologated for spec races so you can ignore the performance index, as they’re all balanced.

So I guess there’s no way to say, “hey, I want to race on Laguna seca in a certain class with the car i’ve been tuning” and essentially go find a lobby that lets you do that ?
Im going back and forth A and S .... once you got ranked down, it takes a dozen really clean races to get back to S. It is hard to stay in S right now, unless you lift your foot from the gas pedal EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU SEE SOMEONE NEXT TO YOU. Which for a racing game is not optimal...They need to rework this....
This is not my experience, I just got the platinum for S rating through 10 races and it’s not that hard to do, but of course it might depend on time of day and type of race as well
It’s not difficult at all. I started s4500~ and am currently s4800~ after a couple dozen races.

I love the thought Forza has put into the Multiplayer. All I wanted it to be is being on par with GT7. In this limited time with the game for a little over a week I feel like it's amazing. I HOPE the graphics situation is worked out. Some races the game looks amazing and some look like I am playing FM7... All of my gameplay has been on the XSX. Nice video!!!
Ive won every single race so far, the honda civic that you get is really good. Yesterday i lost one tho because some guy’s thought it would be a good idea to drift
You should have explained not the obvious things we can read for themselves when accessing the multiplayer, but why for example someone who would play the qualifier races might be behind even though he raced perfectly?! Probably these are things people are looking for in this kind of videos.
I done the base 3 starting races in that one hopper you have to do before you go into any other hoppers and i was S rank 4,500 skill rating, think im 4,800 skill ranking now with s class safety Edit was for spelling mistakes
How do do my qualifying laps once I’ve started practice? I can do practice after qualifying but not the other way round.
Why is there no open lobbies for each class like it was before.. This is just a GT copy paste, I would have bought GT if I wanted that kind of multiplayer
Not enough people to fill lobbies if you have too many different lobbies. That's why motorsport 7 multi-player died
Is there a leaderboard?? Also how do you know what sort of safety rating and driver rating your opponents have?? If you don't know they can just throw everyone in any races as you the user won't know anyways... 🤔🙄
Pretty sure you can tune the spec cars if you own it. You're forced into those upgrades but it lets you load tunes or change tuning settings. Also the PI you're looking at on the select car screen is not the PI for the event, unless you've already done the event in that car & not changed the setup after. The upgrades are applied after you select the car. The civic is 704 in TC spec not 693

I dont get the decision to make tuning possible in the spec series tbh. Leave that to the open events. I have no interest in doing it, I just like racing and right now you basically cant really be competitive if youre not tuning which sucks

why cant there be races for all car types like in forza horizon? Id like to try out other cars that i own but i can only use one of them. the other races require cars to expensive for me. why is multiplayer so limited?
The only reason the tunning and the tires were locked in the spec events is bc he was renting the car and didn’t own it another thing PI isn’t everything the cars are homologated so the PI is pretty irrelevant each car has its own strengths and weaknesses and are better/worse on different tracks

For me its very stupid that video named "MP Explained (How To Rank Up)" didn't answer to question how to rank up, and WHAT IS MP RATING? Maybe i missed something, give me timemark where the answer is.. Like i got the question. I have safety S rating and 4970 skill rating, Two days before it was S + 4760. So 4970 is better than 4760?

The real problem: I'll qualify inbtge top 10, get taken out, fight my way back, get taken out again.
The PI changes on ur car when you play spec events. If I join with the civic that has 692 pi it will change to balance the pi of the others cars. Thereforethe golf gti is not the fastest. It’s eaither the Audi RS3 or the Lync & CO. Based on my testing so far
