I knew this off-roader will obliterate this test. I was skeptical at this one at first since I wasn’t planning on welcoming anymore off-roader but now it’s in my garage.
yes ... have the Kamacho and was scepitical too. also b/c i have the Desert Raid to drive up a mountain ... but this thing really surprised me.

After buying it last night, I'm not surprised it did so well. This thing truly is a beast! I'll have to take a look at the off-road traction loss for this thing.

The Draugur is just ridiculous. Seriously one of my best vehicle purchases I've made in GTA and its only been out for one day. This video just further proves that fact. Thanks Mike!

Yeah, it's pricey, but the idle exhaust note sold it for me. Heard it before on the Vamos though, but it wouldn't hurt a bit to have an off-road car that sounds like a muscle car on idle yet climbs hills like nothing else.

Little tip,as much as you might not want to,put the lowest suspension on it,that small loss of ground clearance makes it super stable and harder to flip over
Depends if your high speed racing or off-roading through trails.

Well also I did a route by the casino and I fell back a few times since we were going almost straight up but it is still the best off-roader

This is actually really impressive for an off-road vehicle. I’ve only ever liked the Kamacho in the off-road class since I don’t do many races, but this might take the cake in my garage.
Wow I am actually impressed because I didn’t expect it will be the new king of off road vehicle because I would expect just pass kamcho and be a close of tie to the desert raid or trophy truck but I was somewhat right but mostly I was wrong lol

I love the fact that you take part of your time to research and study these off-roading abilities on every new Off-Road/SUV that comes to the game. And i was actually surprised the Draugur could pass the Deep Water Stage 2. It truly is a Beast. Thank you for making this test. It satisfies me to know that i bought the new best off-roader.
I bought this yest and went over all the mountains. I was having so much fun with it, it did incredibly well. The only time it died was when I ended up stuck in deep water. Definitely a great off road vehicle! And yes, I did the 10 Cayo races to get the trade price. 😁

This thing is just fun to drive. I hope they add a "weaponized" variant that gives it a turret on the back and some extra armorto really give it the "Warthog" look.

at Cypress Flats there's this long road (tuner meet up). you can drive over the metal thing (that's above the train tracks) like it's a normal street. total fun car, totally worth the price tag

This thing is incredible I usually use the caracara regular or the sandwich xl for offroading but this thing is a beast, the way it's able to climb so quick and has decent acceleration
The Sandking XL is better than Caracara.

After trying the stock version in the Cayo Perico races, I knew this was going to be great. I can’t wait to do Sandking Hill Climb challenge with it.
Draugur is probably the first car I've bought in GTA that I thought was a steal at almost 1.9 million lol. So fun to drive.

I appreciate you writing back a lengthy response. I don’t see how me saying it’s biased is inaccurate or in any way attacking the way you grade the test. Something being subjective inherently opens it to user bias, that’s the nature of subjective test. But to clarify my meaning, I think when there is a vehicle you like, you tend to grade it higher in the subjective. For example, the Drauger isn’t a bad rock crawler but to give it a 10 on stage 2 versus the Outlaw which struggles WAYYY less, doesn’t get hung up, and has no wheel spin, but you gave it an 8. And part of my issue is that I don’t feel some of the tests are indicative of “good” offroad performance. The dirt incline, the suspension travel, and dirt braking just seem very weirdly graded. And even things that aren’t subjective are still not represented well. Like the Hellion suspension travel being graded a 6 is just silly when you see how much it flexes. I just don’t think the some of test are really realistic to the performance of the vehicles, and you not being an off-road enthusiast shows in the test scores

Played one and only race yesterday with this car Won with a 10 second gap to 2nd place And the players were like level 300-400 so not new I was amazed with how it drives

Bought it after a first look review, modded it, took it out to a near vertical slope and launched off it like it was a skateboard. 10/10 I regret nothing, I did do ten solo races to get the trade though.

Tbh with the amount of time it would take to get the trade price you could easily just earn the extra cash yourself to buy it full price
you can do all the races yourself solo on one lap and unlock the price. Would take about 20 min

The Draugur reminds a little bit of the Peugeot 4008 DKR Maxi for the Front Portion.
I bought this shit no hesitation, just for looks, watching this video makes it even more worth it now for its performance
In my testing the Kamacho and the Draugur are insanely close. But I didn't test it through the race we just went free mode and climbed mount chiliad. I took the kamacho my friend took his Draugur. Mind you even if it's not upgraded fully its still a very dominant vehicle I even posted a world record this morning against a vagrant on the new races.

This is the only vehicle I've had climb mount Josiah from the north side in multiple locations
can’t beat the kamachos handling but i love off-road and motorcycles. if i ain’t touching those vehicles then i’m in a helicopter because i always been a fan of aircraft since i was little.

The Outlaw is still my favourite off-road vehicle but this is a close second
I'd bump down the "incline from flat" half a point & the "high speed stability" a full point, the former because it only barely reached the 9.5 mark when it's already off the surface & the latter because it's still visibly not as smooth as the Sandkings. Still reaches 90 points though for who cares about that achievement.
Seeming as you have tested the liberator could you test the wastelander??? I would really appreciate it. I think it's probably the best offroading vehicle in the game
You should check out this trail called Old Mans Crack you prob already heard of it but the trail for it is really challenging so far we’ve tested most and very few make it
