I'm really concerned about the way Netflix is conducing these series. Was so perfect, now we have delays between each season and worst, each season is being split in two parts. I know, business. But it's really annoying.
Tbf the writers strike really made a big mess of things- so, I can forgive what is happening with this season, but I really dread the thought that netflix could continue doing _this_
Right. I'll make allowances for the writers strike and actors strike that took place semi simultaneously last year. Some actors (not necessarily those of this series) were contracted to do multiple projects but now it's become a domino effect trying to play catch up. I imagine writers, producers, crew, etc all have the same problem. Plus trying to secure studio space and have everyone's schedule aligned is hard. It's not just Netflix. All my series on every platform is experiencing delays. But yeah, I'm annoyed this may become a pattern with all studios. :(

I heard somewhere that Netflix (and other platforms) is trying to shift from releasing a whole season in one time to releasing episodes one by one, so this is sort of their first step towards that transition I guess

As excited and fangirling as I am, I’m hoping most of this is Part 1. Cuz him finding out about her being a certain scribbler was very important in the book and that definitely shouldn’t change!
I read the entire series more than a decade ago ..big fan ...and so hesitated to watch it because i knew cinematic license would change too many things ... So .. I watched it anew ..and so enjoyed it ..i do not refer back to the books ..i see it as just another historical ...

I think the last scene of the trailer is a dream sequence, and that is what Colin wakes up from earlier in the trailer. I would love for that to be the beginning of episode 4 so that Colin fully grasps that he has feelings for Penelope and the end of the episode is Penelope thanking Colin for his help because Debling has hinted at a proposal.

I’m excited to see kanthony again❤ waiting to see their happy moments, we didn’t get enough of them in their season (too much side plot and characters to my liking and got together kinda late, but yeah with 8 eps only, kinda expected 😒). I feel like it’s been so long since the last seasons that I’m not that interested anymore. Also, I want to see the romance between Polin, not her spending time with the other guy. Useful to make Colin jealous, but I don’t want to much. I hope this « love triangle » doesn’t last for most of the drama and they get together in like ep 8. Polin chemistry is amazing and I’m here for them, I hope I won’t be disappointed
