Birds of prey just have the most baffled faces when they're picked up.
What would be your reaction if a giant creature you could not understand grabbed you and slowly put you down outside and made a "ok go." Movement with its hand. You'd probably have a smilar face. Predators aren't used to being in the position of a prey and then just being let go by a being they can't understand.

Very calm, did what needed done and didn't hesitate and was quiet and gave the hawk time to calm down a little. Usually you want gloves and keep away from your body. This made me happy and I'm very sick and depressed. Thank you again for being a great person and loving.

I think the Hawk was just really offended that the human didn't know if it was a male or a female.
What a beautiful bird. It is really a blessing to be able to do something like rescue a hawk and be able to handle it and look it in the eyes. And what a beautiful human being she was. Wasn't scared or panicking or shrieking, but whether she knew it or not her presence and soothing voice were a "language" it couldn't understand.
I love how, in every video where someone grabs a bird of prey, the bird looks like its entire worldview has been shattered. They just stare into the abyss like, "This isn't how this is supposed to happen."

Yeah that's brave, only bird of prey I rescued was a little sparrowhawk and even then I put thick gardening gloves on just in case.
@@peg9508 My neighbor did that. Cruelty at it's finest. A few years back I noticed that my neighbor had a bird trapped in her basement. I think a mocking bird. Poor thing was terrified trying to get out of a closed window. It must've gotten in through the door at some point. I immediately knocked on her door but her son answered so I told him and he said he would let her know. After a few days I noticed it was still there struggling to get out. I immediately confronted her and her reply was " I don't care, I'm not going near it." I even offered to go in the basement and get it myself and she just made up excuses that her stairs were cluttered with junk. She could get in to get her lawn mower and shit but not to let me in to free a bird?🤔 Our basement windows are literally right next to the cellar door so all she had to do was open the door and it might've eventually flown out. She didn't even do that. I could have contacted the landlord but he's so old and probably wouldn't have done anything either. His daughter handles everything and she's a witch. Although the hawk had a better chance at getting out on its own, it still would've been cruel to not help.

@@MyDearGhoulmaybe she just wanted to record a rare occasion of a bird being stuck inside her little cabin. It's not always we see animals getting stuck in our place. We shouldn't make assumptions on people. Nowadays anyone records everything not just for flexing their kindness
