  • I’ve really been putting off trying to film things because I don’t have a camera yet, this just proved it’s possible to make a stunning film with just a phone and i’m baffled at the quality of this, I love it!

    • Glad you do! I still remember Casey Neistat saying: “it’s never about the gear!” I wish I had a very expensive camera which would make the shots even more clean, but I just don’t have the money to get it. Go out there and shoot! ✌🏻

    • I never thought I’d find love you know. It always seemed like a faraway dream, one that always escapes my grasp somehow. Like a group of people trying to live in a time they don’t belong in, but somehow still romanticize a past they never knew. A nostalgia of introspection brought me to you somehow, and I’m forever grateful and blessed to have watched this video, through that love of mine. The fact that you’re also Dutch, makes it even more special. Great film. Thank you.

  • heeey I was wondering, is the audio added post filming? not the movie dialogue but sounds like the birds flapping, the motorcycle or the beer hiting the rock, or is it directly from the video? It has such a good quality!

    • @@viviursulanogues Yes! A fun experiment which you can try is to go film like a short 10/20 second clip and while editing trying out all kinds of sounds which come up with you and put it under the video.

    • Thank youu! Yess! I really love watching Natalie Lynn, Life of Riza and Casey Neistat for more interesting and intriguing ways to capture your daily life. For storytelling itself I would recommend watching many many movies, because they give you inspiration. Collect what you find the best moments and techniques and try to do them yourself!

    • Yes, this is shot on the iPhone 15 pro! Not the max, but it’s the pro! It allowed me to shoot log which is ofc great to colorgrade with!

    • hey man! thank you! I’m using 4k, 25 frames per second and indeed the shoot ProRes. I color(learning myself to) in Davinci Resolve and edit in premiere pro. Hope this helps ;)

    • I know right! It is very inspiring. It’s from the movie Passengers (2016) screenplay by Jon Spaihts and it’s a key scene of the movie where the bartender throws some bartender wisdom :)

    • Hey! The dialogue I used is from the film Passengers. I edited the timings of it myself and the music you hear is produced and played by Elijah Siegler, but the original version is from Emilie Mosseri.
