so beautiful. i will save this video on my phone so i can always remember to live instead of existing
Such a wonderful compliment and yes! 🙏🏻
this dude slapped a film emulation on iphone prores footage and managed to make it look like this???? legend.
Hahahaha thanks so much!
you're smoking the passionate youth pack
I’ve really been putting off trying to film things because I don’t have a camera yet, this just proved it’s possible to make a stunning film with just a phone and i’m baffled at the quality of this, I love it!
Glad you do! I still remember Casey Neistat saying: “it’s never about the gear!” I wish I had a very expensive camera which would make the shots even more clean, but I just don’t have the money to get it. Go out there and shoot! ✌🏻
Beautiful shot ❤ such an inspiration
much appreciate it! thank you :)
Living a little in Amsterdam before heading back to West Asia to wither and die again. Beautiful film.
You got this man! Also, thank you so much!
I never thought I’d find love you know. It always seemed like a faraway dream, one that always escapes my grasp somehow. Like a group of people trying to live in a time they don’t belong in, but somehow still romanticize a past they never knew. A nostalgia of introspection brought me to you somehow, and I’m forever grateful and blessed to have watched this video, through that love of mine. The fact that you’re also Dutch, makes it even more special. Great film. Thank you.
@@khalidalali186 These words are very warm and inspirational. Thank you for sharing these with me. I appreciate you and take care man 🙏🏻
I needed this right now. Thank you for making this

Thank you so much! Really love it u noticed the sounds too! I love to put a lot of detail in that and happy you noticed :)
Gorgeous. Is the dialogue listed from "Passengers", or re-written and read aloud by someone else?
Thanks! It’s directly from the movie Passengers! I only changed the timings :)
This was wonderful. It’s channels like yours and mine that will have millions of subscribers one day
Thank you! Maybe haha, maybe one day!
absolutely beautiful.
Thank you Chloe! 🙏🏻
Loved the audio. Could you please share that. Just the background music with that speech from passengers.
I’ll try to do that! Will come back to this :)
Amazing!, this is arthouse quality!, I love it!

Es precioso, es un trabajo muy humano, te felicito y apoyo de corazón.
Hey! I had to translate what you commented, but man what a wonderful compliment! I appreciate the support and are very thankful for your kindness 🙏🏻
Man, this is exceptional. Bravo.
Really thankful man! 🙏🏻
heeey I was wondering, is the audio added post filming? not the movie dialogue but sounds like the birds flapping, the motorcycle or the beer hiting the rock, or is it directly from the video? It has such a good quality!
Hey thank you so much! I sound designed it man! Like very little from the sync, but most of it is done by me! :)
Any tip for sound designing? I've never done it but now I really want to haha
@@viviursulanogues Yes! A fun experiment which you can try is to go film like a short 10/20 second clip and while editing trying out all kinds of sounds which come up with you and put it under the video.
Awesome! From Russia
thanks!!
this is gorgeous, AND ON IPHONE
thank you! yes our phones are very powerful love to try more out 🙏🏻
Inspiring ,Keep making short films like these.♥️
I’m making them right now! I love practicing storytelling and expressing how I feel through these shorts! Glad they inspire :)
This is amazing!!! I'm trying to get into film-making myself, would you recommend any youtubers to get a good beginners' idea please
Thank youu! Yess! I really love watching Natalie Lynn, Life of Riza and Casey Neistat for more interesting and intriguing ways to capture your daily life. For storytelling itself I would recommend watching many many movies, because they give you inspiration. Collect what you find the best moments and techniques and try to do them yourself!
@@georgemakesfilm thankyou soo much this is very useful
@@georgemakesfilm also the sound design and mixing is so good any sources to learn from for that ?
@@adithiyajanani9521 I’m currently studying sound design myself at film school, but I would recommend watching Thomas Boykin for learning more about Sound Post Production in general!
Mai vista la mia Italia resa così cinematica
Glad to make it that way! I love ur country! 🇮🇹

Bro, this made me cry
Such a compliment that it hit that string 🙏🏻
I absolutely love this, finally I find someone that does same type of videos as me!!
Thank you! Love ur films too :)
beautiful, sometime's we're all too hard on ourselves. it's okay to live a little and catch yourself enjoying the moment. :)
Thanks! and that’s how it is, well said! :)
Well done, comrade. Will be waiting for more .❤
thanks so much friend! Appreciate you do ❤️
That's amazing 🤩❤❤❤
tysm! 🙏🏻
This is absolutely stunning. Shot on an iPhone? I'll be damned. How'd you get your shots to look like that?
Thanks! I shot with 4k Apple Log on my iPhone 15 pro and I used Davinci and the Dehancer plugin to emulate a film look!
Can you do a tutorial?
@@marianassilva9 Want to plan one in the near future! :)
Beautiful 💕💕💕
Thank you! 😁
this is amazing
Thank you!
Bravo George! Bravo!
Thanks! 😄
Amazing!
Thanks! :)
Wow🤩! Did you shoot this on the iphone 15 pro max? Or was it an older version? Im really interested
Yes, this is shot on the iPhone 15 pro! Not the max, but it’s the pro! It allowed me to shoot log which is ofc great to colorgrade with!
@@georgemakesfilm thx! Im kinda jealous tbh
@@mkbc4844 hahaha, I upgraded from my iphone XR since I knew this new one would be Usb-c and log so had to get it
@@georgemakesfilm good choice!
broo...this is amazing!!
thanks a million!
Awesome vid man. What camera settings did you use? ProRes? And like 4k at 24fps or different? Thanks
hey man! thank you! I’m using 4k, 25 frames per second and indeed the shoot ProRes. I color(learning myself to) in Davinci Resolve and edit in premiere pro. Hope this helps ;)
Good to know. Thanks for the reply@@georgemakesfilm
no problem man!@@opi3um437
Beautiful. Is it adds/collaboration with apple ?
Thank you! No it’s not! I wanted to show how powerful our phones are, they’re truely amazing right now!
amazing. wonderful quote from “passengers” as well. just beautiful
Thank you! Indeed, also wonderfully delivered by Michael Sheen ans Chris Pratt!
Hello, I really appreciate this short movie thank you for creating it you are really talented, I wanted to know what are the applications you used for editing and making it as I am interested in film making
thank you, thank you! Ive used adobe premiere to edit and sound design it and davinci resolve to create the film emulation! Hope that helps!
Well done!
thanks!!
very well made
thank you! :)
That was great! I'm thinking about upgrading my Iphone so I can shoot log (and remove the sharpness). But I'm trying to hold out for the Iphone 16 Pro... You make it difficult to wait :)
haha i feel ya! yeah i waited some time before i bought a new phone. I had the XR for years and when i heard 15 would be log and usb-c i bought it straight away 😅
dammm this is so underrated
🙏🏻
what is this script is it from some movie or you wrote it it's so beautiful"
I know right! It is very inspiring. It’s from the movie Passengers (2016) screenplay by Jon Spaihts and it’s a key scene of the movie where the bartender throws some bartender wisdom :)
great one
thanks! ✌🏻
great one 😍
thanks!
Beautiful shots & very inspiring! I’m shocked this was recorded on an IPhone, clearly you have an eye for cinematography. This puts my iPhone videos to shame 😂
Absolutely thankful for your compliment! Casey Neistat once told us, gear doesn’t really matter, just go out and shoot! I’m still learning, and I know I’m still doing a lot of things imperfect, but yet training myself to be better every day or week!
Nice one!
thanks! :)
omg
Passengers ❤
yesss
This is really nice. Which app did you use on the iPhone for filming?
Thank you! I actually didn’t use a specific app, just the iPhone 15pro camera! :)

How you get those colourgrading look like the way they are
I’ve used davinci resolve to especially get a filmlook which I really love!
@@georgemakesfilm is it any way how I can also learn it too..any tutorial or any resources.
@@phonewalacamera28 I do use filmbox, which is an amazing plugin for davinci resolve. You can find a lot about it on youtube too! I recommend checking that out :)
@@georgemakesfilm thanks and keep creating more power to you :)
@@phonewalacamera28 i will!
How did you get this audio? is it someone you know, a ai???
Hey! The dialogue I used is from the film Passengers. I edited the timings of it myself and the music you hear is produced and played by Elijah Siegler, but the original version is from Emilie Mosseri.
But which iPhone, my good man, which??
an iPhone 15 pro! Since it allows you to shoot LOG and has usb-c, so I can fit my SSD to it also!
How?!
hey! whats your question :)
Just so good man. ❤ Do you freelance?
@@J-ic7ke Thank you and yes I do!
this is so beautiful & well edited 🥹 what iphone do you use?
Thank you! An iPhone 15 pro!
