I haven't seen anyone teaching a language better than you do! Are you using a specific methodology or you came up with the structure yourself?
Oh, that's really motivating, thanks😭 Well, I myself am a language learner, I learned English and Japanese mostly by myself, so I have a clue of how language learners think and what they need. Also languages have always been my passion, I majored in medicine so I'm teaching Arabic for the sake of it. I developed this teaching style when I taught Arabic, as my students were very generous with their feedbacks and suggestions. You see, there is no secret here😄
@@ArabicwithToqa هَل أنتِ طَبيب، تُقى؟ أين جامعتِك؟ بي سيرياة؟
@@danielejoanacabral9044 نعم، تخرجت من كلية الطب في جامعة حلب. Yes, I've graduated from the medical school of Aleppo University, but eventually I quit medicine, so I don't call myself a doctor now😄
@@ArabicwithToqa Awesome, Toqa!!! Thanks for share with us part of your history! Why do you gave up medicine? And... why "Aleppo" in Arabic is write totally different ( حلب ) from this name? Aleppo means something?
@@danielejoanacabral9044 I gave up medicine for many reasons, it's a long story I might talk about it in my upcoming podcast. As for Aleppo, most languages don't have the letter ح, so in French, Aleppo is alep, I don't know why Aleppo got that o at the end, but you know, when words move from language to another, they change. And by the way, most Arabic cities' names are not Arabic, and has no particular meaning in Arabic.
Funny how I know positioning words like امام، خلف، etc. But I'd never knew what outside and inside were. I just knew that in was في so I thought inside was that as well. Also, I didnt know that khizaanah meant closet. I really like this series
Super 👍👍👌👌👍👍

Please give vocabulary list
In the last examples why do you use al in two place in a sentence ? Like: القطة خلف الصندوق Why use two als?
A question: in your lesson فَوقَ means "on the top of", and على means the same? These words are synonyms? Or they have some differences? And another question: you said that لَيسَت means "not be" in MSA, right? In MSA we don't use مِش ? And ما ? In MSA ما means "what" (but in Syrian dialect "what" means شو , right?)? So we use لَيسَت instead of ما ? And مِش? Can you explain when لَيسَت must be used?
As for فوق and على, yes, they are synonyms. But على is used only when something touches the surface of something else, but if they are separated, you can't use على For example, if a bird is flying above a building, in this case we can only use فوق "الطائر فوق المبنى" The bird is above the building, if you say. "الطائر على المبنى" That means the bird is either standing or walking on the surface of the building, it touches its surface. As for ليست, It's a past tense verb grammatically, so it has many forms, like ليست ليس ليسوا لسنا لست But as for its meaning it doesn't refer to the past, it simply means "not" For example, هي ليست سعيدة She is not happy هو ليس طالباً He is not a student هم ليسوا أعداءً They are not enemies So in Lebanese, these three would be هي مش مبسوطة هو مش طالب هني مش أعداء And as for ما Yes, it means "what" for example, ما اسمك؟ What is your name? And as a negation article, we only use it with past tense verbs. We say: ما قرأتُ I didn't read. But you can't use ما with nouns and adjectives. You can't say هو ما طالب Because the negation word for nouns and adjectives is ليس You say, هو ليس طالباً I hope that my reply is understandable, if you have any further questions, feel free to ask.
@@ArabicwithToqa Perfect explanation, Toqa! I understood, but you said that ما is used only with past tense verbs? Not present? Is this rule valid for Syrian/Lebanese dialect too?
أهلاً دانيال. Actually in Lebanese and Syrian ما is used with past tense, present tense, and future. For example: ما بعرف I don't know ما عرفت I didn't know ما رح أعرف I won't know In MSA, these will be, لا أعرف ما عرفت لن أعرف You see dialects are always easier 😄

It's been explained to me that هل doesn't have a direct translation to English, and works as an indicator to show that the rest of the sentence is a yes/no question. Is this accurate?
That's very accurate👍
