They are going to make it into a state of the art recreational facility for murderers, rapist, pimps, drug dealers, pedophiles, addicts, thieves, etc. I know someone that saw the plans, it will have a theatre, swimming pools, saunas, kitchen, recording studios, game rooms, pool halls, dance hall. There will be a large pizza oven with delivery golf carts to deliver pizza to your cell. A womens section will have a hair solon and nail spa. This is not a joke.
@moscasucio16862 жыл бұрын
It has nothing to do with politics. This facility is extremely ran down and unsafe for humans in general just because you’re in jail or prison doesn’t mean that you can be confined like a prisoner from the 1600s. The doors and cells are out of date and not property standards. The equipment inside is from nearly 100 years ago. It’s just not safe in general. It has nothing to do with being nicer to criminals.

Know someone right now in Olney Illinois with a violation that cost $2500 but it's their first offense & a REAL attorney should be able to help get it knocked down to a lessor charge since it's a first offense & no proof of the charge. The person can't afford an attorney so they're left with a public defender that we haven't figured out if he's just going through the motions so he can move up the ladde or possibly become so overwhelmed that he may be letting everyone hang out to dry because it's just easier. It's like he's forgotten he's suppose to be defending & helping the people. The system's fatally flawed & it's not a racial thing it's a money thing. The system's extremely lethal to the poor & ruining thousands of lives daily. Even locking people up for not being able to pay a fine, the domino effect of one mistake can literally ruin your entire life. The system's in need of drastic change starting with adding more public defenders & paying them better. Because way to many people are locked up for small things, mistakes or they're just poor & can't afford legal help. And people wonder why protests were occurring, Should've been all of us out there not just one race protesting on the streets in order to make change . We need cops but we also need to be treated fairly by the system & all to often were not. If you're poor it only takes one mistake & your life's ruined. My niece was just released for basically being homeless after her husband threaten her with a knife & she borrowed a car & had nowhere to go & the owner wanted her car back but couldn't reach my niece because she couldn't afford a phone, the owner called the cops to locate her. She went to jail , lost her job because they kept pushing her court date out . She was then released & has 2 children to care for on her own . We got her a car & she immediately started job hunting but it's hard to find a job or an apartment with a record so she's living in a hotel that she can barely afford & then needs to feed the kids. What really got me about her being incarcerated was they charged her with stealing the car even though she borrowed it. Once she finally got out she was basically sent to live on the streets. The jails don't let you job hurt prior to being released, they don't help you find a place to stay either. This girl has nobody to help. I'm on the west coast with spinal issues & very little means. I don't understand why there's not places set up to help these people transition & have councilors set up in the jails to help these people job hunt online prior to release. They're let out & basically thrown in the street. She's trying so hard to hold her job, she has no baby sitter & the kids couldn't go to school because of being quarantined , she's been to the hospital twice . Once you go to jail you're basically set up to fail after you're released unless you have help or family & many don't. She needs help desperately so she doesn't lose her children. All over one incident that wasn't even her fault she was a victim. Since she couldn't afford an attorney nor did the public defender help her she's lost her job, home & is struggling to survive with 2 young children. Would've been nice had she at least been able to job hunt while in jail or if there was help getting her a place to stay when she was released so she could shower , sleep & be ready to work. The system sucks

Good point....welcome to Mr Sleepy Joe's world 🌎..

Wow glamorizing jail knowing feds should've been taken over
Know someone right now in Olney Illinois with a violation that cost $2500 but it's their first offense & a REAL attorney should be able to help get it knocked down to a lessor charge since it's a first offense & no proof of the charge.
Jail is made so you don’t come back that’s why they try and make it shity
