Habs Assets CHANGE Their ENTIRE NHL Draft 2024...
Slaf is a versatile player and had big problems understanding NHL. Suzuki saw what Slaf could do and took him and helped him. His advantage is that he is mentally strong and was not broken by the pressure in the beginning. Now Slaf understands how to play and his ability are unlocked. Reinbacher should play a year in the AHL, because as a defenseman he needs to understand the NHL even more. No one will help him, he will be alone.
Great point and thanks for your comment tonight
I'd say give him a few preseason starts on 2nd or 3rd pairing then decide...
I always think the European players should get 2 -3 months AHL , adaption to rink and hitting. The younger the more important. Especially the defense.
Thanks Ian for your comment today
I think Reinbacher will be good with the Habs in the future, but he needs to adapt to North America before, start him in the AHL then if everything goes to plan he could go in the NHL
Well said and thanks for your comment
One years in Laval..May be some game in big league after Christmas
Agreed Alexandre
I want him to start in Montreal but I,m just a fan, the coaching staff will make the decision and I will be happy with whatever they dicide on.
Larry that's nonsense👎🏻 forget the staff or management, they often do mistakes and take bad decisions, David Reinbacher should start playing NHL Hockey right away, he wasted enough time in the minor league, time is of the essence and he's had enough time to practice and develop, he needs to play for the Canadiens now, it's the best thing, would be a good choice to give him NHL experience, he can handle it 👍🏻✝️
Great point Larry
@@user-John28888 I disagree. Played only 46 games last season and only with 11 games with Laval. Why rush him with the Habs. Let him gets experience in small rink physicality of the AHL then reevaluate him later in the season.
it depends who the coach is in laval next season .
Thanks for your comment today my friend. Enjoy your friday
I think let him play top shifts in Preseason and see what he does in camp then decide. He probably will start in the AHL but i wouldnt be shocked to see him called up like Struble and not looked back. I dont expect his NHL offensive production to be good to start though. I think his rookie yeae he will get 20-30 points in 75+ games. Not like Hutson. But his overall game will still leave a major impact.
I think Reinbacher will stay a full year in Laval and play 2 or 3 games for the Habs at the end of the season. I think he will make the big club after that. I think he's the most ready after Lane Hutson
Yes, unless Hugues is able to move other D and/or injuries.
Start him in Laval. Reibacher had a lot of issues with his old team and to shove him directly into the pressure-cooker of Montreal would be a bad decision. Give him half a season in the AHL, let him get acclimated to the North American rinks and hockey systems etc. If he seems comfortable and is not struggling, consider a promotion to Montreal. No need to rush him.
Absolutely Bob like Struble last year
He’s a top five pick. Does he really need to be babied?
@@Intruder-xw6ye thanks for your comment tonight. Key is to get experience in North America then joins Habs if necessary. Normal process for young defensemen
@@Intruder-xw6ye I think most players struggle when moving up 2 levels of hockey. Of course, there are a very few exceptions to the philosophy (Bedard etc) but I dont see Reinbacher as being "exceptional" so yes, lets start him in Laval and watch his progress closely. There is no rush to bring him to the Habs yet, as Mailloux will likely be the first to get promoted. Besides, Habs will likely have another losing season, so why put Reinbacher in ANOTHER bad scenario. Remember, on his last team, there was a LOT of negativity, so he needs to be able to have some early season success and he will have a much better chance of that with the Rocket, not the Canadiens. Patience.
He will start in Laval
I think he should start with AHL.
Thanks for your comment today
Raybachee😅
Yes sir
just one year
Thanks for your comment
No brainer - impossible for him to make the Habs out of camp.
Thanks for your comment today
I say Laval.
Thanks Butch
ahl
Thanks Mike
C'mon stop the nonsense and talking tor nothing, just give the guy a chance to play for the Canadiens team, he needs to develop with the best competition, he needs NHL experience, time⌚ is being wasted with David Reinbacher playing in the minor league in Laval, he's prepared for the NHL, he needs an opportunity and chance and it would probably help him to be an even better Hockey player if he plays in the NHL, I think he should be on the 2nd or third line of defenseman in the lineup, it would be good for David to work with the Canadiens players
David Reinbacher should start playing for the Canadiens in the NHL, enough wasting time⌚👎🏻
He needs to adapt to north america before going in the NHL as a 19 year old in my opinion, next year if everything goes to plan i could see him in the NHL
