Recoba. Un sinistro extraterrestre. Non lo dimenticherò mai. Talento unico.
How I miss the Serie A from the mid-late 90’s 😩
Players with great skills and personality
I remember it was the best league in late 80s & early 90s too.
Same here
@imronaldo1985 that could b a reason. Serie A had the big stars, like Van Basten, Gullit, Maradona, Matheus, Baggio, Maldini etc. just to name a few & that continued through the 90s. So they had some great teams. In Latin America we didn't hear much about the English league back then, until more South American players went there.
@imronaldo1985 I think it's many factors. Great players all went there, Spain has had a peak of their own around 5-10 years ago. Now it has shifted to the UK. There's some cyclicality perhaps. Also, it's a lot about money. Italian teams back then were the big spenders. English teams could not match the salaries and fees. Italian teams built a huge castle spending uncollateralized worthless Liras, money they did not really have. English teams instead favoured organic growth. Eventually, the Italian bubble crashed. Lazio, Rome, Parma, Fiorentina, Napoli all faced bankruptcy of some sort. Either that or a haircut was given on their huge debt pile. They had to dissolve teams and fire sale players. Juventus, Inter, and Milan had issues of their own and had to cut debt and spending for many years. Meanwhile the UK quietly grew and is reaping the benefits of the way they chose to do things decades ago. (The system disclosure requirements certainly had something to do with it as well). Italian teams today are investing and Serie A is slowly coming back. The growth now is more organic and transparent. Teams are doing better financially. But to reach the top again, if ever, will take time.
only real ones know about Recoba!
And Milito
T Amazin he was on about £200.000 a week back then
He is a sniper
And he is from Uruguay, URUGUAY NOMA CARAJO 🇺🇾🇺🇾🇺🇾
I am one of them
unreal talent. one of the best left foot i've ever seen. sadly injuries and mentality let him down. imagine recoba's talent with javier zanetti's mentality and physicality.
@gogolizi nope, not at all
@gogolizi ronaldo doesn't come even close to recoba s skills. About his mindset that's another story.
@@diegosotomiranda4107 agree , Recoba is more skillf than C.ronaldo
Muhamad Riza El Hakim we would be sayin’: “Messi, who?”
Sounds like Riquelme to me
First player that actually make me admire the beauty of football. Chino Recoba. True legend
A forgotten quality player. Top class.👍
Alvaro reccoba is one of best free kick shooter on this planet!!
One of the best first touches in stride I’ve ever seen. Absolutely silky!
Chino, one of nerazzurri legends. I love the track behind, feels like enjoying mojito in the beach 🍸🍸
When he returned as a Torino player, the time he was substituted on, standing ovations from the 80,000 home fans
Pes4 inter milan Adriano Recoba Martins Vieri > all
No.5 Esteban Cambiasso.
Man, the same exact same story here. Nice.
Toldo Córdova Materazzzi Zanetti Stankovic Veron Davids Kily Adriano Vieri Recoba
Sergio Conçeicao
Ronaldo Adriano Ibrahimovic
AC Milan's fan but El Chino was incredible to me ❤
My favorite free kick taker in play station 2 ✌️
F¥€K JUV
F¥€K JUV
Juninho e Recoba foram os meus favoritos.
Sanad Juventus how ‘bout Juninho Pernambucano?
recoba n mihajlovic for free kick :)
What a fantastic player he was!His left foot especially was deadly,he was one of the most gifted players to have played football ,he also had an incredible vision and passing too,and his free kicks were mind-blowing!Sadly he was very injury prone and inconsistent
What a player and what a tune...
One of the most underrated players over the years, he was an exceptional finisher with great control
Moratti's golden boy
He was the reason Morrati didnt sell the club earlier.
How he can not be? He scored two goals on his debut, from 0-1 to 2-1, replacing Ronaldo da lima at the game last 10 minutes, who was also performing his debut.
Recoba when not performing = really subpar Recoba when performing = absolute world-class magician on the ball and looked like a Ballon D'Or candidate
Simplesmente um jogador fora de sério Excelente!!!!!!
Is it me or was 90's football just the best. So many incredible players and teams. Don't get players like this anymore. This guy unreal left foot and style. I remember his goals rescuing venezia too
I wasn't born in the 90s but I agree when you watch vedios of this players in this Era you feel like they play for passion and love of the game nowadays they care about money more than football
Nowadays they are athletes , more efficient , consistent but they lack the silkiness and individual brilliance .
They killed the game by imposing us players like Messi or Penaldo. All business. Before football was quiet and the only judges were the people...the Rooney,Reus,Hummels,Isco,Bale,Hazard,Thiago Silva,Alisson Becker..deserved more recognition IMO
I still remember that Inter vs Sampdoria match in 2005 like it was yesterday. 2 goals in dying seconds to take all 3 points. What a time to be alive. Amala!
More like 3 goals over the last 5 minutes. And a post hit by Recoba as well. And to think our best forward at the time, Adriano, had been substituted because he was having a poor game...
3goals in 6mins
are you sure its 2005? that was the first game of the season, it was also Ronaldo's first game for Inter.
I remember that too! I was celebrating like 15 years ago when I saw that haha
@@afrobian1 It was january 9th, not september
2:52 One of my favorite goals growing up. The speed, the curve, everything.
almost hit n°22´s face. That would have ruined the perfect goal, as well as his face
His smile is even better than his skills 😃 legendary player!
I love this guy One of the best
Although a Juve fan, Recoba is the player that I remember first and the reason I started to love football
Incredible player,a forgoten legend, pure magic, sadly many injuries, best urugvay player of all times.
Best Uriguayan player of all time is Enzo Francescoli
@javier josefides of course. Don't forget he's playing in Serie A where it is harder to score. Plus, he's not a striker.
@@thatmichiganguy no chance... suarez has succeeded in every league he played in. Don't be silly, Suarez is miles ahead of him
Messi is the uruguayan all time best
Well in terms of trophies, goals,Suarez is miles ahead no doubt, he is deffinetly an incredible striker,it's my subjective opinion that Recoba is better just because i enjoyed players and the game 10,15 or 20 years ago more then i do now. Also i forgot about Francescoli, great player.
You gotta love the Reggae beats for this wonderful goal compilation of Alvaro Recoba!
My fav player of all time
Alvaro Recoba is real Miracle Lefty. Always make great Goal with Left foot.
Inter once had him and pirlo in the same team ,scary
Another great Uruguayan. I also fondly remember Rueben Sosa & Daniel Fonseca showcasing their skills in Serie A in the 90’s
This man is my Idol... I miss watching him playing so much...
When we had a team that could afford to have Recoba on the bench....
One of the best players my eyes have ever seen
Chino Recoba puro talento!!! Saludos desde 🇨🇱
Genius! I remember him when he was at Venezia as well! Can't imagine how much money will be making today! Fuerza a la Celeste !
He scored a hat-trick against Inter when on loan at Venezia.
Recoba un fenomeno ⚫🔵

The most underrated player in Serie A history.
Like talent sure him and moscardelli
Definitely not underrated 😂
Injuries limited his development and performance so much
Only fools underrated him...
Only an idiot could underrate chino
Craque demais! Hoje seria top 3 com frequência!
Maestro, la mejor pegada de la historia. Futbol mítico y de culto años 90s!
His left foot is legend.
the last goal is still exist in my mind. It's everlasting
Sempre fui fã do Recoba!!! Se não fossem as lesões teria sido melhor do mundo.
this man is the reason i become inter fans
But sadly he didnt play much , he was always on the bench with mancini
@@gilveber2929 he is one of the greatest wastes talents in football
@@giovanniperrino9406 i agree , sames goes with Okocha, Ben Arfa, Stojkovic, etc .... wasted genius

Underrated Legend. Thank you Recoba!
Que lindo es ser URUGUAYO!!! 👏🏻❤🇺🇾
GRAN VERDAD QUERIDA, GRAN VERDAD...😎👍💙🇺🇾
Great player choice and great music
because of him, I always wear or choose '20' for my favorite number. #ForzaJuve
Aku malah suka pake 11 gegara nedved padahal interisti 😂
Me tooooo
U had trezegol in 20 for juve
His left foot means gold in that era...
Alvaro il Cino Recoba... the best absolute left kicker i never see .. a genius!
A left footed genius ! One of the best in footbol history.
Shittest stamina ever on PES he was dead after half time but had amazing stats
Yeah in reality he is known for always being lazy if it comes to training, many people said that he is really great footballer but just not fit with athlete routines, his skills in other hand are top notch..
like real life jajajaja
You didn't know how to play him.
The conar McGregor of football.
A constant starter was scoring from every plus had the Rambone Early Pro evo day a Favourite
Amazing player!
El chino Recoba era un monstruo...!!!! Lástima jugadores así ya no hay.
Grande Recoba, marcou minha infância
One of the naughtiest left foots to grace the game! A beast on Pro Evolution back in the day too!
Luigi di Biaggio always the 1st who come to celebrate goal with
He likes to be in the picture😁😁😁👍🇺🇾
Why? Any special cause?
I'm milanista but never hiding my admirer to him One of the best lethal left foot in Serie A history
legend of the freekics
This guy was some player, as an Australian we had 2 WC play offs against Uruguay and he was a constant threat. Lucky though we also had a left footed wizard in Harry Kewell....both amazing players who had bad luck with injuries
i always saw Kewell as the australian version of recoba
Man kewell was one of my favorite players, underrated like recoba both talented and deadly left footers
When Recoba was substituted in 05 I knew we would go through
I remember he tried a shot from the half way line just a few minutes in, and I knew he was going to be trouble.... but then they lost that first game.
Grande Recoba!🖤💙
Recoba zidane and riquelme my favourite players ever
Ronaldinho
@@attackontitan5696 bravo r r r ecoba iquelme onaldinho
Recoba an Riquelme were flair players... Zidane was a match winner an far more consistent.... Zidane wins you a lot more games than there two...
ajc brum zidane is trash
@@am32ireland lol Riquelme wasn't a flair player. He was true playmaker. But if you had him you HAD to make the entire side play around him. There was no room for implementing different systems. Also had temperament issues
'20' Free Kicks on Football Manager. Legend!
Recoba, Ruben Sosa, Cavani, L. Suarez, Forlan, D. Fonseca. Uruguay are and were blessed
One of the best freekickers i saw in my life.
Majestic left foot...up there with Rivaldos
Another great video...what a player.
recoba magistral....saludos de chile
unbelievalble left foot talent
throwback videos like this makes me feel young again... please do more (e.g., dying to see one for Robert Baggio)
Uruguayo Uruguayo!!!! 🇺🇾🇺🇾🇺🇾🇺🇾😲😲😲✌💪💪💪
Goal from halfway line against empoli 1997/98 away should be included
also when he humiliated entire Lecce side and scored in the empty net
Absolutely I remember like yesterday

I remember the first 2 goals from football Italian on c4. All the buzz was about Ronaldo's debut and recoba came on and stole the show!
Goosebumps!
Monstruo Recoba, top, top tropo bravo, talento 10 .
Disappointed in myself that i only discovered this player today. Groovy tune by the way
Serie A all way through 1990s and early 2000s had incredible players and teams.
recoba is one of the best talents ... we miss him
Didn't expect this kind of song will be used for football highlight
He was more talented than Suarez a better player but injuries held him back from his full potential.best Uruguayan player I ever seen play.
@array s he was you are probably too young to remember him.
LFC shankss he was also lazy. All around he’s a wasted talent.
More gifted than Suarez and Forlan... Recoba was the best Uruguay player
array s ask your father about Recoba
LFC shankss in pure footballing talent, yes, but overall Suarez is the better player
Amazing memories With amazing player recoba
This Serie A was the best Football of all times. Recoba was a beast with his Left foot.
I was a fan of Ronaldo(the real one from Brazil) and so I like Inter...And then, I have been a fan of Recoba for many years...
