@SosukeAizen748 Жыл бұрын
Wilt constantly scored 40 points a game based in his shots, 25 rebounds, uncountable blocks, lead in points, ppg, most points in one game, lead in ASSISTS, etc and had the league rules changed to stop him. Bill was a so dominant defender he won 11 titles even over Wilt, that's just incomparable. Kareen was the best shooter of them, the most high leveled carreer, the greatest signature move of the game that made him the greatest scorer of all times before the 3pt revolution that is just unfair comparison to those who even had a line to shoot. Hakeen had the 2# best footwork and post moves ever, just behind Kevin McHale. He is top 10 in 5 main statistics like steals, ppg, rebounds and is computed as the greatest blocker ever. Shaq just couldnt shoot the ball. He was the 2# strongest player ever and had a decent footwork but that was all he had. Never lead the league ever even in rebounds and thats humiliating to a guy "so dominant"

@HonorGuard117 Жыл бұрын
His hands were massive too. He could palm the ball without losing control and that helps when your dunking. Many of the new players cradle the ball to dunk. And at the time, NBA centers weighed 260lbs. Shaq as a rookie was 270, by the time he grew into his body with after 5yrs in the league he was 305lbs.

You would see a hand pop up and if the ball got there, it was 2 points. It wasn't friendly. It was aggressive, relentless, and pure power. He would call for the ball, jump, spin 180 degrees, and dunk it in one motion completely oblivious to your existance as a defender. It did not matter who it was, he feared nobody. Most players, off imperfect footing, didn't even try to defend the spinning dunk. Shaq tried to dunk on you every play. He was by far one of the biggest coaching nightmares in NBA history. The entire scheme of the game was keeping the ball from him at all costs. The entire league had no choice but to foul him every play he touched the ball in the last 5 mins of games. He was absolutely unstoppable. 2000-2002 Finals Run 36/15/4/3/1 @ 60% shooting... Could've easily scored 40,000 career points. Lakers Shaq was the most dominate force I've ever seen play the game.

@macabree5856 idk, I think he was better before bulking up, he had a great short shot and baby hook, he was still amazing at dunking, and he was even quicker on defense and rebounds...not to say he wasn't later on, just he was more athletic in his early days obviously
Read your bible! (KJV, preferably) ❤️
@abel6298 idk, KJV has a lot of incorrect translations...I prefer a more direct translation from the original Hebrew and Latin...something like the Original Script Translation
Who's here after Rudy Gobert said he would lock Shaq's ass up lollllll
🙋🏻♂️
Not a chance lol only player who could probably block Shaq is... Yao?
Me
Lmao a ripped Robinson just bounced when Shaq did his move Gobert would be on the floor if he tried to guard Shaq

A young lean Shaq was as unstoppable as a fully loaded freight train going downhill with no brakes. Nothing was stopping him. I was a young man when the lakers got him from the magic, and along with all the hype surrounding Kobe, it was one of the most exciting times to be in LA. God I loved that laker team. Thank you Shaq for the 3 championships you brought us and the memories.
Shaq is my GOAT. This dude did was vicious!
The smart ones get out of his way the rest are highlight reels.
besides Ben Wallace
lol
I saw him in his prime with Bryant. He was unstoppable in the paint. If he could shoot free throws the NBA would have had to change the rules.
Literally unstoppable 😂
Goat if he could shoot a ft
They did change the rules tho
@@VirusZero0140word, it's weird seeing the court without the charge circle. Shaq did that.
He was great in LA and I have great memories watching that w my dad but I think lakers was a lil past his prime cuz he gained a bunch of wait and had beef w phil Jackson and Kobe for a bit
Watching Shaq is weirdly similar to watching Mike Tyson knock out his opponents
they both couldn’t be stopped offensively
this comment is gold so fuckin true lol
Great comparison!
I was just thinking that. Shaq and Tyson were traumatizing ppl. Imagine dedicating your life to be the best boxer/baller you can be, 24/7 in the gym, only to be completely castrated on live TV by these freaks of nature. R.I.p
Amazing analogy, kudos
One of the more dominant players of my generation. His Magic and Laker days were a tour de force. I saw #1 live as a kid and it still blows me away, I never had seen anyone do those kind of things in a game.
Any generation. Kareem or bill Russell wouldn’t know what to do to stop him…. Time Duncan couldn’t stop him. Prime Shaq was unstoppable. The only person to beat Shaq was Shaq because he didn’t look after himself the way he should’ve.
@@Cultofpersonality09129Yao has entered the chat..
Best center ever! So dominant! 🙌💪
Shaq posterized a lot of legends 💪🏻💪🏻
The one on jordan
The only big man, that played like a big man, he was rare, super athletic for his size and weight.
Exactly. I came to this vid to remind myself of what it was like to see a big play like a big.
only ? did u just watch only few highlights then said that ? lol
Huh? The only big man? Robinson Hakeem Parish Ewing Mourning I can go on
I think he may mean in today’s NBA. Not too many big men these days who have great footwork and can just move these dudes out the way like they’re children. Now they’d rather stand at the top of the key and shoot threes, I get they need to, but this is a guard heavy league where “small ball” is more prominent. Someone needs to punish these dudes.
@@JamesEarlBonez Shaq destroyed them all anyways. 😂
Shaq got mourning on like 7 posters 💀
Sadly 😂 im a Heat fan
With respect to those who came before, Shaq was a monster
When Shaq left the Lakers, only then did I truly realize his greatness. Watching him dominate all those years you get used to it, then when new guys came in you see how easy he had made it look.
Yeah lakers fans would actually get frustrated when their centers after shaq didnt dunk through three or four guys flagrant fouling him every play
Props to Hakeem, Zo and David for always trying to contest.
Don't forget Rodman
Three hall of famers made to look like g leaguers by shaq sometimes
Yeah but you should see what Hakeem did to him as well their battles are a big man thing of legend
Shaq - the only player that required an upgrade to our infrastructure 😂
Shaq was the man in the 90s early 2000s. Bad man 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Shaq's greatest ability was his availability. I can't believe a guy that big who played with that much power stayed healthy all throughout his prime. A true athletic marvel. Diesel was the epitome of dominance and ferocity. CAN.YOU.DIG.ITTT!!!!
Shaq blocked it so hard against the suns the cameras cut out 😂
Shaq was so dominant big men were sought after like 3pt 2 guard💪🏼😂😂💯
Shaq wasnt just a dunker, he was a tank that pushed aside his opponents like they're not even there and slamming the ball back down onto them
I'm 1 minute in, and Shaq just abused Duncan and Robinson on the same play, then the very next clip bodies MJ ... People forget just how dominate Shaq was. Don't get confused by the smile, that man was an absolute beast!!
We all know that man by just watching u can tell how he dominates
I feel sorry for Alonzo Mourning 😂😂😂 he’s in every highlight
We will never get another shaq again. One of a kind. Miss the days he was playin. Legend
I mean,Zion Williamson....
Giannis otw

@@angryguy6116 whats in the pipe??? You know how much bigger and heavier is shaq than zion how did you even find the courage to say something like this lol
@@dequanjackson8153 lol 😂😂😂😂😂 you kidding right?? Shaq would posterize him anytime he would want
Those were some good times. Theres noone who even compares to Shaq so folks wont understand how great he was. Changed the game and the backboards.
Who can break the backboard twice in the rookie year⁉️ That'll be one and only Shaq O'Neal❗️
In the same week.
"WHO CAN GUARD SHAQ?" still the big question mark up until this day.
How Shaq is not talked about in a good portion of goat convos is beyond me. This guy averaged over 20 points a game as a center, averaged 10+ rebounds a game and 2.3 blocks a game! He’s the center I would pick if building my “dream team”
Bill was fast as fk in transition and scored like 15 to 20 ppg and was the greatest defender ever in the game.
Shaq is one step down guys like them and Moses Malone, who was 3 times MVP and the greatest offensive rebounder ever. Shaq is holding hands guys like David Robinson and that's a lot to a guy who couldn't shoot
@@brunnogurgel3076 you do realize that centers are not meant to be shooters, right?

Most DOMINANT specimen that they’ll EVER be. Fav player 💪🏽
1:57 had me in tears😂. Even the video equipment was not ready for that block
Had to come back to highlights after watching his new HBO SPECIAL about his life 🔥
He's not just dunking, he dunk with the intent to kill.
Happy 50th Birthday to Big Fella, Big Shaq Diesel, Big Aristotle Best Wishes Always & Congratulations for Being Top 50 Greatest NBA Player of ALL time Shaq Superman.
Big Cactus was my personal favorite!!
This Guy was Insane 🔥🔥🔥🔥
There will NEVER be another 💪🏾
The thing that I love about Shaq dunking is the way he does it. He does it with so much power and weight, you can see the rim and board bend. It also sounds different. It's appealing watching Shaq dunk lol. There's nothing quite like it, like witnessing a freak of nature do their thing.
I love how on #2 Shaq immediately realized the backboard was coming down with him and then sprinted away as fast as possible LMAO
Appreciate all the different camera angles on his dunks.
Bro it is UNFAIR how dominant he was
Shaquille was a force to be reckoned with
Lol, Rudy Gobert ain’t locking up shit 😂
You're here after seeing that shit too 🤣🤣🤣
THE MOST DOMINANT PLAYER OF ALL TIME
I agree with you. Shaq was truly a force on the court.
Agree.. I been saying the same thing Shaq Was Not Generational He was once in a lifetime

People nowadays don’t know how good my boy Shaq was. I mean some of the strongest athletes couldn’t hold him and Shaq did it with ease. I would be scared to guard that man if I played against him.
Yep agree. All these Gen z kids in their early 20s have no clue how great Shaq was in his prime watching him play back in the day was just such a treat.

This is first time watching Shaquille O’Neal it’s his B-Day today so Happy Birthday to him!!!!!!🥳🎉🎂 03/06/24
