  • The juxtaposition of timeless gorgeous music & setting... with the masks & 6-foot distancing... which are instant relics of a foolish paranoid moment... creates an overall jarring effect, an odd texture, a Lynchian surreality. Love these guys, they really found their place in the constellation of Americana-neofolkrock. Pecknold isn't ashamed to go for broke on beauty.
