  • One thing people aren’t mentioning is that now most king towers are level 15 but we can’t upgrade cards to 15 so many cards like the spirits and wall breakers become a lot worse

  • not so fun fact: the evo firecracker in the last round actually missed one shrapnel piece, meaning it did 84 less direct damage. However, that specific distance allowed for the main explosion and shrapnel piece poisons to both land on the tower, meaning the firecracker literally got 260 extra damage for not landing a full connect.

  • X-bow needs a re-work to make it fan play against I think x-bow would fan to play agains if : Its life span was reduced even more like 12s but had its damage or hit speed increased to god level. A health nerf could be necessary if this was implemented. I could also see it with not that big of a damage or hit speed buff but with a decrease of its elixer cost. You could also decrease its damage to troops. Comment your thoughts about making X-bow fun to play against.

    • just don't let it connect? giant, rg, valk + a dps, just use any tank unit and optionally a dps card if needed depended. most cases will easily counter since at worst the opponent will only have 5 elixir to defend since x-bow is so expensive. I guess a good change to x-bow if they were to rebalance it would be to lower its damage but make it do higher crown damage, this would make it punishing if it connects but a waste if it doesn't though this might ruin its defensive value but maybe thats a good thing.

  • Compared to the other evolved cards, skeletons are dunked on for being "bad" but I believe that any deck that isn't using RG, Firecracker or Barbs and has skeletons, (EX Xbow 3.0) gets a small buff as the evolved skeletons are always a postive elixir trade against a small spell.

    • even if you want to argue that it provides a small elixir trade you have to compare it to the others which besides barbs usually always get you at least a little free damage guaranteed which I would always take over a 1-2 elixir trade with a log or arrows. Skeletons also are getting dunked on because they are underwhelming, like the others even when the get countered still do something on the battlefield while skeletons just instantly die which makes it feel like a waste of the evolution slot.

  • I like evolutions, new cards is the only actual real content that can be added to this game but it was executed badly balance wise and the way to obtain them. You should try firecracker, golden knight and tornado just to make people mad.

  • In my full opinion, card evolutions would be perfectly balanced if they didn't also buff the stats of the card (with the exception of the Barbarians. Maybe tune down the buff to 35% boost but keep the fireball survivability, they need it)
