    • @@kurtmccathron3781 oh, but this discussion is in reference to Palpatine’s secret cloning project Necromancer. He is trying different ways to clone himself or create a host body that can accept and hold up to his midichlorian blood levels and dark side energy. In EU lore, he was working on achieving Essence Transfer where his being/consciousness/force abilities could be transferred to a host body, but because he was such a strong dark side user, the dark side energy his essence carried would degrade the clone host bodies quickly with each experiment…so, during TBB series, this experimentation is in it’s very early years, and I suspect they thought that midichlorian stabilization might be one of the important components toward achieving a successful Essence Transfer. When it comes to the current live action/animation/movie, I doubt they will go into detail about this EU lore and the dark science because they would risk losing a lot of fan interest or the stories getting to muddled with all the fantasy science. But, this is just the background to this topic that you might read others write about in the comments across other YT SW channels. Hope this helps.

  • From what I remember from season 1 without going back and watching it again, the reason the Kaminoans wanted Omega back was because, Jango Fetts DNA they used to make the clones was degrading and would no longer be viable. This was said during a scene with Nala Se and Lama Su, but maybe Nala Se didn't reveal to Lama Su the fact that Nala Se had also manipulated Omega to be able to have blood with a high M-count transfused into her and the body would not degrade. In other words I don't think your theory of being able to create millions of clones for Palpatine to "transfer his essence" as you put it, is really viable. Don't forget Omega is an anomaly, and would be almost impossible to recreate without Nala Se, and I don't think she will co-operate anymore with Hemlock. I have a theory that if Hemlock threatens to harm Omega when she arrives back on Tantiss, I think Nala Se will find a way to transfuse high M-count blood into Omega, thus giving her force abilities and therefore she will be better equipped to help the younglings and the other clones escape. I know it's a stretch, but I was just spit balling some ideas about what could transpire if Nala Se is forced back to work on Omega if Hemlock threatens her harm. I know it's a wild one and I don't normally go down these rabbit holes, but here we are.

Im on the side of hopefully retconning the sequels, they’re very lower mid tier for me, but that’s just my opinion. people seem to notice he’s in a loophole of trashing on Disney for clicks or associating with other channels that are just straight negative. Everybody has the right to speak their opinion, but other Star Wars channels just want him to be more balanced and uplift the fandom since he’s the biggest and has a lot of push with fans. Since watching him for a few years now I’ve noticed he’s carried himself more arrogantly, which is a bummer. Doesn’t seem to take criticism even if it’s warranted well. He didn't because he found out he had a son who would be more powerful than Anakin. If he would have cloned Anakin rather than himself he would have been unstoppable. Anakin beat the force gods on mortis a feat Sidious didn't even do. So cloning himself was short sighted that's all. Dooku was a great duelist but he never fully embraced the dark side his force powers could never even come close to Anakin's. Anakin killed him without fully using the dark side and spanked him like a Padawan. He wouldn't clone someone weaker then himself. He used Dooku to play both sides of the war and defeat the Jedi.

We have this current project with Omega and whatever it achieves, (most likely the vials of what looks like blood attached to Palpatine when we see him in Ep9) we’ll have Grogu which creates Snoke. So they use the research from that and then in the Darth Vader comics (which are canon) Vader visits Exegol. He see’s the tanks with the various cloning attempts of Snoke and we also see what looks to be Luke’s hand in one of the tanks. What they are establishing in Bad Batch with force sensitive cloning could draw into what Force Unleashed 2 had set up. Bring Galen back and fit him into canon by making him an Inquisitor that gets specialized training from Vader because of his power or something. Reboot the games or just bring him back in a show. I do not care. It would make sense for Palpatine to want to clone Galen when he dies because he was so in tune and very powerful with the Force. I could see Palpatine jumping at the opportunity to harvest his DNA to strengthen his own. Or just to clone Starkiller’s body to have it as backup if he needs to transfer his essence.

  • Palpatine can't create an endless number of clones for himself, unless they once again break their own canon. The whole reason Palpatine is zombie-ish and hooked up to machines in TROS is because his clone wasn't completely successful and they can't replicate even that experiment. His clone body was deteriorating rapidly, which is why he needed Rey to transfer his soul into before it completely broke down. Snoke resulted from genetic experiments in creating a working Force-sensitive body for him, but the result was unsatisfactory so he used him as something of a puppet. They could steal even more from Dark Empire and give him multiple clones that also deteriorate, but they need to come up with a reason why he only had one clone left and they couldn't make another one. I don't expect anyone at Disney to do that competently.

After many failed attempts at cloning, including his cloned son born without Force sensitivity.During Omega's captivity, she befriends the Emperor's cloned son, and together they escape the Empire's clutches. An invulnerable being may not come to harm, but could still not be immortal, and eventually die from aging (e.g. Superman… he ages, but is nigh invulnerable to harm). The “holy grail” is invulnerable immortality. 👍
