I’m glad you pointed out the detail that Rad was the one who stopped the girls from asking anymore questions about Bosco. I can tell why Frisky likes Rad, he’s been looking out for her since they met!
I don't care what Bosco is, there is no way that he was possibly as cool, family-oriented, ruffle-haired, or bulging with beer belly muscles as Rad. Dadbod, talks like a surfer, loves his nieces, cool and clever dude. Of course she's moving on to the superior model. My big question is, did Rad smash in Bosco's face and just kind of not mention it?

I suspect that Chili was secretly trying to set up Frisky and Rad. Chili and Frisky are good friends. She knows Rad is single and maybe thought that if they met they could become friends at least
Yeah, and unless she put on “do not disturb” or blocked Chilli’s number, I don’t think it’s possible she would not get the text Chilli supposedly sent to her.
Chilli and Frisky aren't just good friends. They're best friends since childhood. Proven because Chilli actually made Frisky Bluey's Godmother.
I was waiting for someone to cover this topic. My 8+ year relationship ended really bad and was abusive and how Frisky was having a hard time explaining to the children felt close to me because i had to tell my nieces and nephews about their "uncle" not being in our lives anymore. this episode is one of the things that helped me get through my last breakup (i used to watch it multiples times a week during that dark time i've been), when i watched it i recognized what Frisky's dialogues meant, both about being cheated (my ex cheated on me) and move on even though you can't really control what's about to come, but can actually be something even better than the last experience you had... i really love this theory c:
I'm so curious about Rad's life pre series, but after the flashbacks we have. Since he's older, I'm curious if he chose single life or if it chose him. Or was there a former Mrs. Heeler, who is not with us due to life circumstances or she's no longer living? Judging by Rad's setup, I could see it being maybe his high school sweetheart, and after their divorce/her death, he voluntarily cloistered himself away, thinking he wasn't meant for another great love story. The line, "I'll take it," really speaks volumes to this possibility, as well as his ability to read the situation well enough to keep Frisky's mind off the breakup. I think he'd need some experience in love to at least read the room as he did.
I do think the story of Rad once being married, but his wife having passed away leaving him heartbroken and just wanting to be alone (hence why he went to work on an Oil Rig, a very Singular Life), would work very well in Bluey indeed as it does not hold back from tough subjects.

I know people think he cheated, and I agree it's likely, but imo what would be maybe better is like... if he didn't. With what we know it's possible Bosco *didn't actually do anything wrong* and just fell out of love with Frisky. She just took it really hard, especially when he started to see someone else, which probably happened around the time of the episode. Frisky doesn't imply that Bosco *betrayed* her in any way, just that he left her and is with someone else. Which he could have cheated or he could have left her for someone else, or he could have just broken up with her because he just didn't love her anymore, and moved on while Frisky didn't. That would also mean they "aren't friends" anymore- if she couldn't stand the breakup. And the reason I think that might be better is how that kind of thing is NEVER shown in media. It's always cheating or a "someone else". It's never "I just don't love you like that anymore", and even when it is, we never see the person being broken up WITH'S reaction, because it's like, the disposable fiance/fiancee in a romcom.

If they had same friends maybe he started to talk to someone and started to bring them around like a lot to the point where I think their friends kinda pushed her aside and slowly stopped spending time with

As someone who been though the break ups and stuff It’s possible that Bosco could have told Frisky that he wasn’t ready for a relationship or to take it the next step and broke up with her . Frisky might of reacted to the break up hard and thinking there could have been something wrong with her and started to distant her self with those who were friends with her and Bosco. Maybe by the time the Sign we see Bosco in a new relationship and it hurts Frisky all over again( like she feels Bosco lied to her or something) But Chili and the girls give her a pep talk (after an adult conversation between chili and Friskey) and Bluey and bingo point out the positive thing that happened between rad and her which cheers her up. In the end Frisky and Bosco are able to burry the hatchet and understand what happened in the past they learn, grow and move on. … As for me. I’m now married to a great guy who was at first outside my preference but I’m glad I took that chance to explore outside that comfort zone
Frisky is my favorite character and I’ve had this theory for a while! I also relate to her a lot personality wise and the way she navigates relationships and fearing change. Thanks for doing a video on it!!!

Theory:in double babysitter frisky states she only has three friends and we know that two of those are chilli and Trixie as we can see in the game(forgot the name of the show) we can all see them together on tv so we know they must be friends but that’s only two friends so who’s the third one because we never seen her with someone else so what do you think is it gonna be a new character we will be introduced to or has something got in the way of their friendship

I dont think Bingo knew who Bosco was. To start with Bluey is asking the questions and Bingo is just staring off into space. It wasnt until "true love" that she talks giving it away that only Bluey knew so maybe Bosco wasn't around as much when Bingo was born and maybe they broke up right around the time of Bingo being born.
If that where the case wouldn't bluey notice basco not being around frisky or her not mentioning him anymore? Like it just feels like basco would have come up at some point since after bingo was born.

My friend has a theory that Brandy was sad in ones not because of Bandy’s infertility but because she was in love with bandit. She was too sad to go back and see bandit with her sister with TWO kids. I always thought that the reason Frisky was cagey about the three friends thing was because she was self-conscious about having so few friends, but your theory makes sense too. I don't think we'll ever know for sure if Bosco cheated on Frisky, though if he did, it does explain why they aren't even friends. I think Frisky's three friends are Bandit, Chilli, and Brandy.

I like this theory, specially if we connect this with what we know about the sign The scene with frisky sit upset or sad in the beautiful place (sorry, I don't know the name) and with bluey, bingo, muffin, socks and chilli searching for her. Maybe she was scare of start a new life with Rad, one dog break her heart once, what if he do the same now?, Probably that's the reason of why is Chili going for her, because is her close friend

I think the idea of "trying something different" also applies really well to Rad who's been working on an oil rig for what I can assume is a very long time and how he didn't seem to fully connect that's why he's still single until Bluey mentions it. Both Rad and Frisky are trying something new, and the fact that they're going through it now together, which I think is really sweet. I think Rad showing that vulnerability to Frisky is what helps her open up to him and let's her know she doesn't have to go through this alone.
I just kind of assumed that’s what happened when I watched the episode also as a new Bluey fan, I love your videos!

When we 1st saw that episode, my fiancé and i agreed that she got cheated on and possibly with one of her friends or her losing a friend that was friends with her ex.

My only regret is they didn't do a cheeky callback to how Frisky ends the story in the Sign. Imagine after making up and the kids asking if the wedding was back on she went "well for the sake of the children, we're getting married" after muffin talks about wanting to be a flower girl, and Rad responding "I'll take it" all over again. IT COULDA BEEN SO CUTE
Selfless love is when one party is all in regardless the bumps the other non committed partner has even if its innocent and they break up they are hurt because the relationship was deeper only on the one side. True love is when both are selflessly all in This is how i see it no mater why they broke up he wasnt as commited as she was but the current guy shes with is as committed as she is. Only issue i see is her comments shows shes still dealig with fall out and that can lead to devalueing your partner, and driveing in a divide that shouldn't have been possible.

I pushed myself out my normal boundaries and it honestly ended up being one of the best decisions I ever made
