Needs a tether. If your hands let go it could be a long swim.
Deadman switch.
Don’t worry, I built one it can’t get away from me, I put a tether on it and put it around my neck, lol😂
@@Stopcommunism Going down with the ship. Respect.
Very good for a concept. Install straight motors without gear boxes, programmable motor controllers, and a sealed throttle device. This thing could go much faster and with programmed ramps you could get much better performance. Maybe even tighten up the clearances between the props and the tubes to get greater thrust from them too. Great project and great results.
It would also help if most of the thrust wasn't going down his pants
And add a deadman switch on a tether so the thing doesn't get away from ya
He did a pretty damn good job using materials he found around the house, I'd give him on a scale of one to ten about a "12".
Great points thank you
comment it is always easier than doing it. all those stuff never works in the first attempt
40 years from Now..Man says to The media “my inspiration for getting us to Mars started when I was building PVC watercraft in my moms kitchen.
Maybe a Momentary switch you can hold down with your fingers wired to a relay would be better than a damn double pole throw ac breaker.. still pretty cool
virgin proper electrical parts, chad "make everything out of romex and breakers"
He using Bosch tools so I don't think he can afford to buy the correct things
If only because if you let go.....your scooter is going to be very lonely on its trip.
This same concept designed onto the hull of a canoe or kayak would really be badass, primarily for its ability to push through weeds and debris without tangling up the props . Amazing potential here.Nice.
Those exist
That0Homeless0Guy what’s the product called ? I’d like to check it out, thanks 🙏
@@d_ward4871 Fucked if i know. Look up kayak motor or kayak jet motor. There's even peddle versions too.
So many negative comments. He built an awesome thing. Good on him
Jealousy is an awful awful thing.
the croc will love it
I agree!
we dont have crocs here,

That's cool! If you placed a larger step up cone facing forward to be a scoop then a step down at the back to increase thrust you'd be surprised at the outcome. I must admit sir, you have a lot of odd components on hand. Do you have an ebay store or family owned hardware store? Very impressed. Please keep up the good work, you give me lots of ideas.
Didnt realize what meant by a sea scooter.till the end.outstanding.
Beautifully executed and a wonderful scraps box you have. Love the welded pipe construction. It does occur to me that the butt-weld for the cowling tangs might be vulnerable. If you were to use two endcaps for the motor mount, back-to-back you could sandwich the rubber seal between them. You could then weld the tangs inside the second endcap. Lovely work.
And his boxes are sooó clean! Still great video for understanding the basics.
The
The amount of stuff this guy has is what blows my mind even more
That is China not India 😂😂😂😂
Those switches dont like water. Maybe a coupple of relays and a pair of reed switches and magnets would be able to make it completely waterproof?
Put rubber button boots on them. Thats simpler
Also should be momentary switching mechanism in case you let go.
Guaranteed to last 5 minutes in the water. Or not.
I'm sure you could also seal them with something like silicone grease.
Sweet, nicely done, thank you for demonstrating the assembly, and most importantly the actual use of it…. I love it! Dude you should just make a bunch of them and sell them as aerators (avoid the lawsuit crazy crowd), this would be good for an investor.
Smart human. I love the creativity. I’m sure there will be more versions/refinements made. Don’t listen to the haters ✌🏼👍🏼
o9o o oooo Loop 9o ok
Deux mot: Ingénieux et astucieux! Bravo continuer...
Man if you built those impellers like they built the jets on jet skis then you'd get ten times the power out of those props. All the water is cavitating around the blades . Makes me wanna build this for my kayak.
Kudos to you. I love ingenuity. There are always ways to improve and many will suggest them, but you built it, they only talk about building one.
I know im asking the wrong place but does any of you know a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I stupidly lost my login password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Rory Emilio instablaster =)
@Rey Cassius I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im in the hacking process now. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
@Rey Cassius It worked and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D Thanks so much you saved my account :D
@Rory Emilio Glad I could help xD
Great ideal great build . Just need more info on parts for those that don't know
Good idea 👍👍
This would get your kayak moving quite well
Just had the same thought. Thinking of a way to make outriggers that double as propultion and can use rod mounts....
That's exactly what I was thinking mounted on a kayak
Funny I came to this video looking for that same thing “a thruster for my kayak lol”
@@Youtubsucks5 .
How many horses power is this propulsion unit
Looks like a tether of some kind would prevent it from taking off across the lake and leaving the operator behind? Amazing work!
Good designed PVC sea scooter , I am just worry about the motor shaft leaking
Did you put the red an black wire together on purpose?
Me to
THATS 🥇 🔥 Ps: if you were to extend the propellers more you wouldn’t disrupt the outlets and would go faster
@MANBEARPIG 7734 at the moment the propellors propulse the water partially into his body, making the shaft longer will have the propulsion outlet behind his body Less resistance in the path of the outlet means going faster
Douwe Bakker cavitation... supply of water too little.
Dude you are a Genius I was wondering what you would fasten that to I didn’t realize it was gonna be dragging you

There's a video in your ads
Another Incredible Build! Thank You for your Videos
A dead man switch might be a good addition, in case it scapes your grip.
Also adhesive as the prop guard sounds like an accident waiting to happen. There should be some mechanical fastener to keep it in place.
Quite therapeutic watching this !!! My only concern is the switches..... Great idea though ❤️👍😇
I did not think that these switches are sealed. Great idea)
If you lost your grip on it, it’s gone! Rather than the conventional tethered kill Switch though, you should utilize a momentary switch directly under your fingers or palm.
Good idea.. strap it to your wrist for now
Well i assume its not for butterfingers.. shouldnt lose grip unless your a girlman
@@chuysalazar466 you're*
Super creative alike the ingenuity that went into it. I saw something like this at CES2020. 🤩
Las Vegas?
Amazing idea. I could make one for myself now. It's very simple
Oh yes how simple ya narcissist
Land. Water. Now what? Sky. 👍
call colin furze

That reminds me I gotta get my paraglider wing out to air it out.
Nah, next is space
Thanks to this, Cuba to U.S has never been easier.

Parabéns amigo ,bom trabalho, você é muito inteligente. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
One important thing.. One motor should have been wired backwards to create a counter rotating engine. This give stability and allows it to go straight without manipulation. Common practice on all multi engine setups weather a plane or vessel. But the idea is excellent for a kayak. Or something similar.
Right. Counter rotating and mirror image prop pitch.
That would be correct if it was not inside the tube. But they will not act that way
Good success ! Give you some advice. You need a latch switch with a rope attached. When you miss, the motor will stop. The Scooter will not run away.
hy taik babi lek, comee
That's absolutely incredible. Well done 👍
I’m jealous, you have more quality junk than I have , enjoyed watching ! 😁
I’d like to see Colin furze remake this
Colin furze would make it powered by an actual jet engine, or rocket or something
Collin fur would use welding and tools I prolly dont have
Chuck Norris would build it and then beat up Colin Furze just for trying to make it better than him.😎👍
Colin fur would use a pulse jet above water 💧

Nice idea except the non waterproof switches!! And check out using magnetic couplings for the drive shafts.
If ever I'm living near the sea shore,, I would definitely love to make that 😁
Im going to go out on a limb here with a crazy guess that this guy has his doctorate in electrical or mechanical engineering or something. I mean, this is what he does for fun? I wish I had half the tools and skills he does. Wow. Impressive.
Most likely atleast one degree in Mechanical Engineering. Then an education in electronics.
Que da hora cara, adoro seus vídeos. Desejo que tenha muitos e muitos anos de vida e saúde. Parabéns
Y’all ever notice how he this man has everything 😂
money
money and now he has all he needs cuz you cant go get some stuff like that
OMS_fights Bb except shoes
He probably built it before and was juat showing us how otherwise , no you wouldn't have 2 dc motor and shafts and propellars that match all of your perfectly matched pieces of pvc pipe as well as batteries and most other hardware. It worked great !
A girl to shoot the videos...Omg
Very good invention, but you should install a bracelet cable to turn off the engines if you accidentally let go. something like those used by jet skis.

Your creations are so amazing and useful! This is another one! Keep it up buddy

very nice guy I couldn't make one of these kk I really loved it congratulations on the dedication you have for this channel, a hug from Brazil ❤️❤️❤️
Who else was impressed with that impeller shaft runout
That’s to help the seal last longer. 😝
A parts list of the working components would be a real help, particularly the motor/gearbox assembly!!!
and those fancy props
The motor looks like a motorcycle starter.
The components won't work for very long.
@@epoylandingin7708 not a motorcycle starter
Yes! Like diameter of shaft extensions. Prop sizes and pitch. “The devil is in the details.”

@Bo Hunter thats why its called smuggling lol
Consider of the Water Temprature bro.
Awesome well done, this would be great on a kayak
This is an awesome idea, fun prototype concept
That was one of the greatest videos yet. I'd want to make one that doesn't put the motors, swtiches and batteries in the water. But something I could add onto a 2-person inflatable Kayak. I Love this video, Keep it coming. Maybe one day I will actually build something from your series, if I'm lucky.
For a kayak? Far more options on mounting locations. Longer arms etc
Great job, sir. Congratulations on a fun and functional home build! 😊
Great job! Love it.
This will be used in the coming 007 movies to help agent 007 to escape the hunt killers. Well done...

Needs a dead man switch so it won't run away on you, a couple of fins on the front for better depth control, and some kind of arm brace so you can get better pitch control in the water. Pretty cool.

I've seen little firework boats that'd make him feel like a real submarine. 🤣
awesome .. give it a nice paint job .. and make a hand grab on each side with a soft power switch to each engine ..that would be great
Interesting to watch. Totally sealing off the batteries seems a bit odd and I can't see the glands he cut from a bike tube lasting long. I see this as more a proof of concept rather than a functional project but still pretty cool in a geeky sort of way.
Waaaaawwww That's so amazing IDEA 🤜🤜🤜👉👉🤘🤘🤘

I wonder how many times he practiced this. Very impressive.
Very well done my friend, I’m no engineer but I think that as a means of propulsion it has a lot going for it 👍
If that's a 'sea scooter', I now know I never want a sea scooter. Thanks for the informative video.
Awesome builds! You are a braver man than I getting into that water! ;-)
That's brilliant!
Nice idea. Unfortunately those shaft seals will melt from friction in no time. Great cheap concept though.

Much better than the other one. Congrats. Though I like the design of the other one. So both pros. Nice work.
I love your lovely working and project. However, I prefer the propellers running after my feet rather than spinning to my face.
Those motor water seals are super temporary. No way those will last more then 15 min in water. You should have built a housing for a bearing and seal to go in. Then your setup will last for years.
PVC cement wouldve been 60000x better

That switch is not watertight watch out you also should have some sort of ESC or variable speed control because your batteries are running full tilt from the flick of a switch until you turn it off, the will not last long. Very imaginative great job.
