  • In the 3rd pattern theres a trick that doesnt need you to reverse the algorithm. Instead of reversing the algorithm, turn the cube to the other side and repeat the algorithm but dont reverse the algorithm just do the same algorithm on the other side to get a solved cube again.

  • A couple others I stumbled upon while experimenting: - The "?" - The "X, Y and Z" - the "L" or [lowercase] "l" - The center stripes - The "House" The "T & t" Among others. Of course, once I achieved a mixture of these, (some faces had separate patterns than those on, let's say, the top or bottom face) I was forced to solve it to start from scratch. All whilst remembering the moves I made to get there. All in all, fun times. I always encourage novice cube solvers to experiment with patterns. Helps to familiarize with moves and color coordination.

I not only enjoyed it but now I have the algorithm down to a science. I love these videos. Thank you. • Thank you friend! This was helpful and fun to learn a few new patterns. I was waiting for the directions to reverse the final cross pattern back to the complete cube! Anyway, I worked that out. A tip for anyone wanting to study the moves, screen record the section of moves for the pattern you want and you can pause and scroll through the video from your camera roll at your own pace, forwards and backwards to learn the pattern and the return moves to the complete cube. 👍🤣🥳

There is another pattern I do in which there are stripes on 4 sides. It's the cross pattern but you reverse the middle piece on the horizontal.

    • @@archinautiyal1294 Lol, that’s not easy when you have 3 different layers any given arrow could refer to. It’s better to just learn the notation. Basically what they’re saying is take the middle slice going up and flick that twice, take the middle slice going horizontally and flick that twice, and take the middle slice going between the front and back face and flick that twice. If I tried to show that with arrows it’d be 🔝🔜➰🔝, which obviously isn’t any help to you. Good luck though, because if you don’t know cube notation you sure don’t know how to put your cube back together if you scramble it.

  • this is a true story So I was at a after school promgram and i was bored and i had my rubix cube with me. So i asked the little girl next to me, "hey rachel, can you please mix up my cube?" She said yes, and she said "im gonna make it so hard for you to solve". I laughed and solved the white part right in front of her face, she said "i just made the white part easy for you". I laughed while solving the damn cube right infront of her, her mouth was wide open and i went back to the table I was sitting at before laughing.

  • Hey guys today I discover a new pattern. It can be perform with a 4 by 4 cube. In this pattern we can make three different patterns together which are same on their opposite sides. These 3 patterns are - 1. The first pattern that cubastic made on two will be same on opposite sides. 2. A plus on two opposite sides. 3. Completely solved faces which are opposite to each other. Believe me it's very simple and amazing. I am finding the correct algorithm and i will post it soon.👍
