37:51 is a very deep and insightful statement from Kyrie. I've always admired Kyrie for his basketball genius, but I thought he was wasting it by dispersing his focus on so many outside things. So I guess I'm one of the people who pre-judged him without knowing because I didn't like the image I had made of his character. Today I very much admire the wise and mature person he has become and he's still a basketball genius. So he has become my favorite player and I'm rooting for him, though I'm not even a Mavs fan

Kai has been immense for this Mavs team, without Kai this series would have been lost to the Clips, putting his team on his back when Luka is struggling is huge
I had a feeling that this 2024 Mavs is like the 2011 Mavs. They had a hard time on the 1st round against the Brandon Roy led Portland Trailblazers and then Blitz through the 2nd round against the defending champ Lakers and beat the Thunder in the WCF.

tired to be a PG fan. Man this dude does not deserve a max contract at all; idc if u dont shoot the ball right, just be damn agressive. So many loose ball and u see all these clippers guys being so easy and non chalant with the effort. When PG was taking over in Indy, he meant it. Right now he just wants to always disappear and let like a olding harden takeoff but u are in trouble if you rely on Harden to carry your team

He must be happy to ball after his injury and i understand that, but his attitude on the court shows no effort. It doesnt look like these guys put themselves to exhaustion, they play at 70% or maybe less, with 0 intentions

Way to go Mavs. Role players are really buying into the game plan, so shout out to J Kidd and staff including the coaches on the court. Luka and Kyrie are just better than most if not all in basketball. Their IQ's, abilities to create shots and create space for teammates shots, and strengths to play thru contact and see, react, communicate and execute are the edge. It comes down to this and Ty Lue said it. They tried to take Irving out of the efficiency game and could not because he is special. Luka at 25 has no lack in his game either. They can just simply outplay opponents and the strategies intended to beat them. Win it all Dallas. Another shout out to the Mavs front office for the trades and acquisitions of the players and coaches of this team. Great basketball.

Hey Folks. Very long time Lakers fan here. I have to honestly say that I have NEVER been a fan of Kyrie Irvin even when he was at Duke. He has always been extremely talented but he rarely showed an interest in Defense. This series was different because I ALWAYS believed that he was talented enough and intelligent enough to move his feet and play consistent defense. Kyrie was impressive this series. Trying to stay in front of James Harden is NO easy task but Kyrie played some of the best on ball defense I’ve Ever seen him play so Kudos to him and the Mavs. Defense wins Championships!
They need to give up on Kahwi. His knee cant make it to 82+ games. That has been proven.
You have guys like PG who give 30% yet you want Kawhi out who is your best player by a mile because he’s injury prone
